La Casa De Isaac & Moishe Ratings and Reviews
Who would have thought to go here for breakfast? Well, because of OpenTable, we found out it was available for breakfast. Just great, perfect coffee (with a hint of cinnamon) and our skillet breakfast meals were very tasty. Staff is so nice and professional, and kept our coffee mugs filled. Really nice surprise for breakfast.
Best tortilla soup anywhere, and I have tried various versions of the soup all over the U. S. While some people may want to go to the new new place, I prefer to go where I know the food will be very good. My NYC daughter who is a foodie had them cater her rehearsal dinner in Chicagoland.
Had been meaning to come here for quite awhile. Finally got here and wish we had come sooner. Frozen Mango Margarita was great! Had the garlic red snapper and was probably the best red snapper I ever age. Totally enjoyed it; just sorry I split it with my wife ;-) We also split the duck tacos and they were also very good. Will definitely come back here!
Was at the art fair, came across your booth. You didn't accept credit cards so we went straight to your restaurant. We loved everything! Clean, convenient, excellent service, the food was outstanding from the chips and salsa to our entrees. Everything tasted so fresh. Can't wait to return.
As always, attentive service and wonderful food. Their chili reanos are the best that we've ever had -- our order every visit. Tequila choices are plentiful, as are their margaritas (which can be expensive depending upon your choice). In all, a great place to visit with family and friends.
I had heard about this restaurant for ages, and I wish I had gone a long time ago! We went on a summer Saturday evening, and we were so impressed by the friendly service, the bottomless chips and salsa (so good!), the delicious specials, and the extensive menu. One of the owners heard that it was our first visit and came over to greet us -- very impressive! My blackened ahi tuna tacos were perfectly rare, my sister's plaintains were perfectly carmelized, our fried ice cream was the best I've ever had. We will be back soon!
The food was good. The service was good. The atmosphere and decor was what you'd expect for a Mexican restaurant. Except I was looking for a little bit more. Maybe more (or any) of a fusion menu. Given the owners' ethnicities there could be some very interesting dishes.
There are plenty of restaurants around that feature a Mexican cuisine; some better, some worse. There was nothing about Isaac & Moishe that would compel me to come back unless I happened to be in the area.
