Wonderful meal and attentive service.
First time here, excellent food assortment(Italian).Only one objection.There were only 2 of us and we both ordered dessert.However, we ere never told the chocolate bag was for 2.It was delicious, but too much dessert for one person.Also, everyone gets a salad, so think twice about separate appetizers.But everything was wonderful.
Always a pleasure coming here! Service is second to none! We dine out with a toddler, too, and Tony is always so gracious and kind to us!

Have eaten here a few times and like the regular menu items. Good traditional Italian. Made a Valentines Day reservation and tried to check the menu on line. No mention it was a limited menu. Even the paper menus were different from each other when we were seated. Disappointed at the choices but what we got was good. Never again on a special occasion.
The food and service was excellent. It was our first time there and we will go back again.
This was a lucky find, real cooking like Nonna makes. The largest stuffed artichoke I've ever seen, and the silkiest carbonara in memory. My companions were also very pleased with everything. Two small items: dessert seemed a bit overpriced, and the waiter standing next to our table for periods of time was a bit unusual, though he was indeed charming and friendly.
Thank you to the owner who graciously invited us for an after-dinner drink, but we would have exploded. Such a wonderful evening.
Love it every time we dine here. We are Never disappointed with our meal. The servers are always attentive and knowledgeable of all meals and specials . Even when they seem short handed with staff; they still get it done and tend to us. I am addicted to their Chicken Murphy!!
Obviously overbooked. Although seated on time the food was extremely slow to arrive.
Service was good but food took forever. I think kitchen forgot us. Food was good. I would go back but probably not on a busy sat night.
Everything was delicious, apps to desserts, the only problem was we couldn't decide from all the delicious sounding specials, definitely coming back.

My first put-off is that the online menu prices are not current. A bottle of Michele Chiarlo Barbera d’Asti is prices at 24.00 online yet selling for 45.00 at the restaurant. Proper attention should be given to this. Also, 21.95 for the antipasti freddo platter is overpriced. This is not more than a 16-17 dollar offering. I don’t know that I’ll return, despite the fact that the pork bracciole was very good.

Hidden gem in Kenilworth. Our waiter was attentive and even though the menu is big and the specials list longer than most they offered to make whatever we wanted if we couldn't find something we wanted. The food was great and we will be back.
The staff was exceedingly polite and helpful. The food was good. I wish we had more time to stay and try out some of their apps and entrees because they sounded amazing. As a business lunch we all had sandwiches which were all very good. Great place for a lunch appointment.
Five stars for the food the appetizers were superb the pasta Bolognese is delicious and my husband gets it every time we come here. The lamb chops were cooked to perfection and the taste was impeccable. They make a great cosmopolitan And the service was amazing I would highly recommend this restaurant
Didnt realize La Campagnola was so close to my home. Went there with my family and it was wonderful. The service is impeccable and the food was delicious. Very cozy atmosphere. The staff really wants you to have a great experience and they succeeded. When you leave, your bellies are full and you are happy you went there. I took home 2 pieces of their Italian Cheesecake , OMG, it was the absolute best I have ever had. Cant wait to go back.

This was our second time at this restaurant and everything about it was as fabulous as the first time. Friendly, personable, attentive but not intrusive server was the perfect complement to a meal that satisfied everyone at our table. Hidden away in an industrial section where you would not expect a restaurant, not only are you surprised to find it but your surprise is magnified by the range of its culinary offerings and the precise care taken by the chef in creating the menu and especially the eclectic specials!
I am almost hesitant to rave too much as this is not a large establishment and I would hate it if reservations became too difficult! But I feel compelled to sing its praises as it offers the best food I have tasted in years and could easily hold its own against the finest Italian restaurants in NY.
Stumbled across this restaurant while searching Open Table for a new place to check out. It was a total surprise! Located down an industrial back road, you'd never expect to find such a gem. The food was fresh and delicious, the service was on point and just enough. The restaurant was loud, but not in a bad way. It was completely packed with people enjoying their evening. There was ample time between courses which is common in a traditional Italian restaurant and gave time to enjoy the company you're with. The only downfall is that we didn't find this place sooner. We can't wait to return! (Definitely make a reservation!)
Very good service. The owner was friendly Our waiter was very professional and knowledgeable and polite. My chicken scarapiello was very good, flavourful and they left off the onions as I requested. My husbands rigatoni bolognaise was good but he felt the sauce was thinned out and didn't measure up to mine. ( I use veal, beef, pork, sausage and Proscuitto) Our antipasto Freddo was very good and so was the stuffed artichoke. I would have liked to see the flavoured breadcrumbs between all the leaves and not just in the center and would have set it in chicken broth, I think they used wine. The food was presented beautifully. But that said, I liked the restaurant and definitely recommend it to others. We live one and a half hours away so might not find our way there again.
I had a reservation for 7pm and was seated right away. The hostess was so sweet and even asked me twice if the dining area was too chilly for me because I was wearing a sleeveless shirt. The waiter was nice as well and very attentive. Food was pretty good, but it didn't blow my mind. Overall, I would definitely come back.

Great food and great service. Stuffed mushrooms were very good, and Veal Saltimbocco was very good as well.
I ordered Scallops and they were raw and cold on the inside. Waited at least ten minutes or kitchen to cook them to completion. Waiter apologized, nobody came over to explain or show concern. Prices on menu are reasonable but do ask for prices on specials. They are in the mid thirties range. Way too steep for a neighborhood joint. And lastly, coffee I ordered was old and/or burnt. Maybe they had a bad day but I won't go back
First time there, we heard great things about the food but it wasn't nearly as good as we hoped for. I had salmon and it came with three small roasted potatoes and , I kid you not, two pieces of broccoli. The salmon was dry and I could barely eat it. My wife had the filet mignon, which wasn't worth the $39.00 price tag. For dessert we ordered the cannoli, we were served three mini cannoli that were filled on the tips of the cannoli only leaving us with a crunch shell to eat. The bill was over $100 and wasn't nearly worth it. I have no problem paying for good food but I would never go back to this place if I was looking for an excellent meal, sorry to disappoint , I'm just calling it like I see it.

Restaurant was empty and it really is a shame. I'm guessing its because of the location. People just don't know it's there. Food is excellent, service good. My advice is to stop waiting to be seated at the crowded restaurants in Westfield. Come here, you won't be sorry.

I plan to go back very soon (maybe this weekend!). The menu had so many amazing choices that I don't normally see. The waiter was fantastic. Extremely accommodating. It's also byob, which I prefer over being scalped 3 times the cost of a glass/bottle of wine.
De makes some awesome sangria and a heck of a Moscow Mule.
My daughter and I were in the area visiting colleges and we stumbled upon La Campagnola. It had gotten good reviews so we gave it a go. We were greeted not only by The staff but the owner as well. The restaurant is small but cozy. Our food was excellent, everything was homemade and authentic from the apps to the entrees all the way through to our dessert...the teramasu was amazing! Highly recommneded, would return again if in the area!
I went for lunch with a friend and I had the chicken alla griglia - it was excellent! My friend had eggplant parm with spaghetti and said it was very good. She had so much food that her husband had dinner with the leftovers.
