Passover Kosher meal
Great foot excellent service will come again.!!!!!
This meal was not one that was memorable! The food was ok- not great. I thought my steak was not exceptional. My family had fish which was also ok, but nothing to remember. The decor was very bland - I felt that I was in a cheap diner.
Worst of all - the cost was absolutely ridiculous.
Looks like they increased prices for Passover, I guess they have a captive audience. I’d recommend other places in nyc where the experience is significantly better.
Excellent dinner. Expensive because it was Passover but the food and service were great. I would go back.
A fantastic restaurant hidden away on the east side. The service is very detailed and every worker is aware of your table.
The food and cocktails were fantastic. Very fresh and beautifully presented.
Food was spectacular and the establishment should consider itself lucky to have Siggy as its maitre'd.
What an exceptional place! Warm atmosphere, quiet, attentive staff. Food was delicious!
This restaurant is very expensive, but the food was outstanding, the service was great, and the ambience was delightful. There is no better kosher restaurant in New York City.
Great food and environment for business lunch or to meet friends. Excellent value. Service top notch. One of my favorite kosher places in Midtown NYC.
it was amazing the food was good the service was amazing
We went for Valentines day, it was lovely. Great food, Great ambience! I highly recommend it.
Food was good, nothing special and very expensive
The environment was very pleasant and the menu, though not long, reasonably varied. The portions were smaller than I expected. The decor in the bar makes for a nice atmosphere.
Absolutely amazing. The service was great and the food was exceptional.
Great place in midtown NY.
The food was excellent, we all loved everything we got. The only negative was how expensive everything was... The special steak we got was thick and delicious but was $127! The wine was also extremely expensive.
Love this place, great tasting food, nice selection and the service is phenomenal. The always accommodate any special dietary need. Waiters are the most friendly I've met. I love the quiet atmosphere.
Good food and kosher, but very expensive. Slow service but very nice people. Ambiance fairly neutral - could be nicer at those prices
Enjoyed a lovely dinner! The food was delicious- can’t pass up a filet mignon in a kosher restaurant! The steak was cooked perfectly. Service was great, very attentive. It was an expensive dinner though and that’s my only real complaint. Include an inexpensive side with an entree! A grilled tomato is not a side.
You’d be lucky if the waiter notices you, sat there for 3 hours and he only came by twice then up charged us for everything thing we ordered. Steak was dry and sushi was stall, STAY AWAY.
Beautiful relaxed place. Food was delicious!! But overpriced though
The food was delicious and plentiful. I've grown tired of places that charge a small fortune to walk out hungry.
My daughter and I shared an appetizer sampler, as well as Pulled Beef Tacos appetizer.
We then moved on to a poached pear salad (with field greens, craisins, and a pomegranate vinaigrette), which was absolutely delicious.
By the time we got to our main, a Mediterranean bronzini, we were stuffed and only ate about a fifth of our shared main.
My daughter took 1/4 of the appetizer sampler home, and we both took our bronzini home to enjoy for lunch the next day.
The food bill was $128, and in retrospect could have done without the $25 Taco appetizer. Of course, when you go to a new place for the first time, you really want to try as much as you can!
The food was tasty; the service was attentive; the environment was pleasant. It is a good solid reliable kosher restaurant.
As Kosher restaurants go, this one is pretty good. Of course, it is ridiculously expensive and the service is gruff. The noise level makes conversation difficult and the ambience is warehouse style. But the steaks are tasty.
The restaurant is tired. Sushi was the tastiest part of the meal. The Chicken and Steak were average just like the service. When we asked for the bill he asked us to remind us what we had ordered.
The service was great. The food was delicious and I will definitely come back again.
We came to La Brochette to have a really nice meal, and were managing 3 unique challenges and opportunities: we were going to the restaurant before a Broadway play so had limited time to eat and wanted something close by, it was my wife's birthday that we were celebrating so I wanted to find a place that was really nice and had a great menu and reputation, and.... it was during Passover, and we were with a couple that was strictly observant and finding a nice restaurant that was Kosher for Passover is extremely challenging.
We dined at La Brochette, and I all I can say is WOW.
We had a great meal, and spectacular service from Juan, and a truly memorable and festive meal that we will never forget! This is a great find, with great food, that ALSO happens to be strictly kosher as well!! Five stars all around!!!
In a word, perfect. Passover dining is hit-or-miss; La Brochette was a 100% hit, accommodating both carnivores and pescatarians with equal care. The food was outstanding, the service attentive, and the ambience inviting. Highly recommended for anyone wishing to experience fine dining, kosher or not.
Ok food was actually very good. I know its passover and this is one of the few restaurants that are open, but to overprice everything by ridiculous amounts... thirty dollars for a small plate of lettuce and sixteen dollars for sides which were smaller than the kids portion at a fast food place. We shared 2 meals between 4 of us with NO alcohol and it was almost 400. That means I'll never be back.
Beautiful and elegant food, impeccable, attentive and friendly service, great ambiance, fine dining without pretentiousness. Save room for dessert. One of my favorite restaurants in NYC.
Food was OK.
My associate ordered his steak rare -
It arrived well done.
The wine was good. The Branzino was over salted.
Servicer was great.
Decent Kosher dinning is always a bit expensive, especially a steakhouse. This is no exception. However, the menu is varied and better balanced than some other places. Drinks are good and well made. The availability of good creative sushi is a definite plus. Portions were generous, well prepared and presented in a pleasing way. The service was attentive and genial. We were seated along the wall about midway into the restaurant. A nice spot, but the restaurant was noisy that night and at least one of our party found it hard to hear the table conversation. Overall, we were pleased with the meal and the experience.
Poor and inattentive service. Forgotten requests. Unreturned phone messages. Overdone food. VERY expensive for poor quality.
Diner decor turnpike quality. The worst food I ever purchased. $300 and without liquor. Poor service.
Of all the Kosher steakhouses in Manhatten, this one never fails to please. I eat here each time I visit NYC and have to have a business dinner with a Kosher customer. The staff very attentive and courteous. I am from Texas so I know what a steak should be like, and the Kosher meat here is very good, but not as good as a steak from Texas. Just saying that as a Gentile. Fairly good beer and wine selection, and a good selection of liquor, with a few good choices of bourbon and scotch. Come here for the food and service. I'll be back next time in in NYC!!
We were treated very nice, perfect timing for the servings, great food and amazing drinks.
The restaurant was intimate, welcoming and enjoyable is every respect. My three guests said that the prime rib was extraordinary, and my light meal was excellent.
The food and the Sushi were exceptional! First time there and we all enjoyed it!
Delicious food, attentive server and nice ambience. I highly recommend the short ribs spring rolls and the delmonico "classique".
The food, service, and ambiance was amazing and what impressed me most was that I had put in a note on open table stating it was our birthday and without even asking, they brought out desert with candle and singing.
