Of all the Kosher steakhouses in Manhatten, this one never fails to please. I eat here each time I visit NYC and have to have a business dinner with a Kosher customer. The staff very attentive and courteous. I am from Texas so I know what a steak should be like, and the Kosher meat here is very good, but not as good as a steak from Texas. Just saying that as a Gentile. Fairly good beer and wine selection, and a good selection of liquor, with a few good choices of bourbon and scotch. Come here for the food and service. I'll be back next time in in NYC!!

The restaurant was intimate, welcoming and enjoyable is every respect. My three guests said that the prime rib was extraordinary, and my light meal was excellent.

Delicious food, attentive server and nice ambience. I highly recommend the short ribs spring rolls and the delmonico "classique".

The food, service, and ambiance was amazing and what impressed me most was that I had put in a note on open table stating it was our birthday and without even asking, they brought out desert with candle and singing.

Over priced. Food was good but service was mediocre. Waiter obviously steered recommendations based on the highest priced items on the menu. Then served one person's entree to somebody else, never realized that the first person didn't get an entree. Maitre d' ultimately resolved it, but overall was disappointing.

Had a very nice dinner with 2 friends. Probably our fault for not asking the price before ordering, but the waiter could have mentioned the steak special was $85.00 per person.
We each ordered it and it added $255 plus tax and tip to the bill. Dinner was almost $500 for the 3 of us. The food was excellent overall.

If you only eat kosher food, this restaurant has that. We had a great waiter (Samuel). The food ranges from tasteless to okay. The sushi is slightly better than that. The prices are astronomical.

We had a good if pricey meal at this upscale kosher restaurant. We were fortunate that it was not crowded on the night we went, so we had a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere -- not at all noisy. Our steaks were cooked exactly as we like them -- one of us had the Black Angus and the other had the filet mignon -- and they were juicy and flavorful. The French fries that accompanied the filet were excellent, and the portion was large enough for two to share. The side of grilled white asparagus, thin spears, was quite good if a bit undercooked. This restaurant has a large selection of sushi, and we split a portion of fish tacos. Our server maintained the right balance of attentiveness and absence, and when we expressed an interest in sharing the tacos, he helpfully offered to increase the serving from three tacos to four so that we could split them. He also recommended a wine that we enjoyed.

I'm not a giant fan of Kosher restaurants (seems to me that there's no reason cooking couldn't be better--why Kosher restaurants abhor the concept of "rare" always escapes me)--but this one is far better than most. It's a nice atmosphere, and a fairly large menu. But service is slow and prices are eye popping for the product (as Kosher places always are). But if one is Kosher, or has clients/friends/relatives who are, this is a very good choice.

Took clients to La Brochette for lunch last Tuesday. From the moment we arrived the staff were friendly and welcoming. Sat at the bar while we waited for our party. Drinks were carried to our table once it was ready. Staff was knowledgeable about food items, specials, and we're open to offering suggestions. Patricio was impeccable with the service details and the Wine choice by his knowledge it was superb as well. Table was kept clean throughout the course of the meal by multiple members of the staff. Everyone was polite and kind which made the experience much better. Music was pleasant, songs and volume moderated. Overall and amazing restaurant.

Restaurant is attractive with beautiful decor and lighting, tables well-spaced and noise level moderate. Unfortunately, the steak (the most expensive cut on the menu) was undercooked and full of gristle, and complaints to the manager were ignored. Took 55 minutes from the time we ordered to receive our meal, even though the restaurant was only half-full. Waiter also never came to check on us during the entire meal. Would have loved to have had another high end kosher restaurant choice, but sadly this is not it.

In a word, wonderful. We all know that kosher food is generally expensive but La Brochette is generally on point in terms of pricing. The menu is extremely diverse - sushi, steakhouse and salads. There is something for everyone. I would never thing that the salads are something to swoon over but they are. I had the best salad of my life - grilled watermelon salad that was a special of the day. Service was helpful and attentive. Sushi was inventive and fresh.

There are about 20 tables and you can actually have a conversation with the members in your group, something which is a rarity these days in Manhattan.

I love this place.

I took 3 non-kosher people out to lunch who were all impressed with the taste and quality of the food. Only thing that knocks my rating down is that the price of the specials was so out of line with the rest of the menu that I think the price should have been mentioned. Average lunch entrée is $22-32 with the steaks being $42 and one of the lunch specials ordered was over $70

We really enjoyed the food at La Brochette's. We ordered the sampler appetizer which was great and a nice way to try a few different things. The short ribs were great. Not a lot of wine by the glass options.

I was there on a not so busy night and the food took forever to come out. Food is sub-par - it's just overpriced kosher food. If I'm going to overpay I'd rather go to Primo KO. Also, paying $60+ for an $18 bottle of wine is ridiculous. Not a luxury restaurant for the luxury prices they're charging.

I found the service good until dessert which took forever. The place was pretty empty. Food was OK and very pricey.
80 degrees and humid outside which was cooler then the restaurant. Expect to spend $75 a person without drinks.
They generously gave themselves a 20% gratuity for a party of 6

This was our first experience at La Brochette and will certainly not be our last. The room is lovely and intimate yet open and bright. The service was outstanding. The menu has meat, fish and sushi. We tasted a bit of everything and enjoyed every bite. This is what a great dining experience should be and..Kosher at it's very best.

We had a nice meal at La Brochette. The meat was delicious as were the lamb chops. The service was good, but not "high quality" (e.g., they removed some of the plates while people were still eating, didn't continually refill the water without being prompted). The food, though, was good.

Let's start with the stale tasteless bread served with a delicious olive oil dip. Beautifully displayed, for an appetizer I ordered the sweetbreads which should be renamed Tempura Sweetbreads. This was a rousing disappointment. The portion so small and unsatisfying thickly coated in a crust that belonged in a Chinese takeout, and the olive garnish reminded me of the spread served with bread . I ordered the short ribs. Nicely garnished with excessively garliced vegetables; it was soft, not dry, but had the seasoning of something fished out of the bottom of a pot of chicken soup. Unfortunately for me, this was not a meal I would have spent nearly $100 a plate.

Food (steaks for all) was affirmatively good. Decor/ambience is nice but nothing special, although I only saw the downstairs. Service seemed a bit too efficient, even rushed, especially as there did not appear to be a line of diners waiting to be seated. All in all, I would return here.

The service was so-so, and I don't like Lexington in general as a dining street, but for a kosher steak and fish place in Midtown, this is a very good choice, and much better than it's previous life as La Carne. The chocolate lava tart was the best I've ever had, and it's non-dairy even (it has to be because it's a meat, not dairy, restaurant). Who would have known?!
