All was very good.
Would come back.
ONLY problem was asst waiter/delivery person who was not trained in proper serving. Dropped plates hard while serving. Reaching across one to serve another...no finesse.
Overall, our experience was a good one. Our guest miscommunication with the waitress, who thought she wanted the special, but she didn't! She said it would take quite awhile to redo the order, so she brought part of it, but the mood was ruin for our guest. She adjusted the price, brought a complimentary dessert as her way of making good. Still, it was a bit of a mood buster. The waitress was very nice and did her best to make up, so we didn't fault her for the mistake. We would probably go back and give it another try.
This restaurant has been a total favorite for several years. We used to enjoy it for lunch - were there many times and the last time November -2017 - however when we returned to the desert on Feb 3 this year we discovered- to our GREAT dismay-- it is no longer open for lunch. Bummer!!!! It was our favorite place to entertain good friends and/or business associates without the complications of dinner. At any rate, we took other good friends Saturday night and had a wonderful dinner, beautifully prepared and plated - and served with grace and panache. Our server told us that the venue was missing some staff that evening but you would never have guessed from the presentation, quality of food and service, and the total experience. If you enjoy French food/, wine and ambiance, this should be on your MUST list!!
Good food and service a bit expensive
Cold seating. Food only fair. Service excellent. Would not recommend.
It was excellent. Joe, our waiter, was also excellent. Loved the ambiance. Plan on going back.
Don't go if it's Valentines Day. Should have know better! Seated 20 min. late. Waited 20 more min. before asking for some bread and butter. Finally took order and thirty min. before first course arrived! All in all it took over 2 and a half hours for dinner.
The place has great outdoor seating and going on a week day night would probably work better. Take your own wine, ($20), corkage but much cheaper than wine prices there.
Will go back but most likely for lunch or mid week dinner.
A great and popular Valentine's meal! Special menu was offered, but we ordered ala carte. Food was excellent, I had the Sole and my husband had the Steak and Frites....also the delicious onion soup...very authentic! It was very crowded and service was slow, but quality of food maintained. I don't like the new policy of not seating reservations until the exact time of the reservation...we arrived a few minutes early...our table was vacant, but due to the crowd I guess they were staggering seatings. Wait space is limited, bar space is limited and it would seem better to just get people seated. The hostess acts like you are offending them by arriving early....less than 10 min! Maybe they are just making time for table "resets" but it should be done with more graciousness. No flower or Happy Valentine's Day as we left either. :(
Unfortunately, the occasion was Valentine’s Day and the kitchen was overwhelmed. Our waiter tried but the food arrived 90 minutes into the meal. The lobster ravioli sat under the heat lamps so long that they were dry and crispy. I understand that these holidays are intense but I think it would be best to limit the invitations and retain the quality.
This was Valentine’s Day. They promoted a special Valentine’s Day menu on they’re website. It featured a PRIME NEW YORK SIRLOIN. We got there and the $35 steak was now called “Bistro”. I told the server I wanted the steak on the website, she assured me that’s what I’d be getting so I ordered it
It was not. It was a hanger steak, the lied and I’ll never go back...
We were there for Valentine's dinner and it was delicious. Kelly was a great waitress.
Wonderful as always! We always celebrate our Anniversary at La Brasserie because it’s also Valentines Day it’s extra special. Packed for a reason amazing food. We always sit on the patio & appreciated the perfect table next to the Fountain. Thank you La Brasserie for always making our Anniversary celebration special
Food was outstanding. Service extremely slow on Valentine's night. When questioned, server said "I'll bring it when they give it to me." She simply could not handle crowd.
The cuisine is consistently wonderful! This is by far our favorite restaurant in the valley.
Valentine’s Day great food service never felt rushed
Dinner selections were excellent for all 3 menu choices. Each of us commented on flavor as well as presentation. Waiter was prompt and attentive and we were seated as scheduled.
Excellent all around
Fantastic dining experience. The petrale Sole was elegantly presented as were other entrees. Wonderful French wines
Our second visit in 2 weeks! Wonderful atmosphere. Great spot to bring special friends!
It’s the best French Restaurant in Coachella Valley. Especially the liver.
