Excellent, accommodating service with food to match.
The food was great, but not inexpensive. The service waiter was good, but the food took a LONG time to arrive.
Excellent service and delightful waitress. Always enjoy the atmosphere especially on the patio. Food delicious. This is the second time we have bought friends this season. Hidden Gem!! We were also not aware of the half price wine on Sunday nights. A real bonus
Delicious food nice atmosphere.
Visited La Brasserie Bistro and Bar this past Saturday night. It was the semi finals of tennis matches. They were packed but the service was amazing. Dee Dee was our server and she did a great job. My wife had the rack of lamb and it was prepared perfectly. Everything including the desert and coffee after the meal were 5 stars.
Our server Dee Dee was very pleasant and accommodating. The food was tasty and service right on with timing and execution. We split goat cheese and greens salad and had a bowl of French Onion soup. All was delicious!
Second time. A repeat of the first. Good selection, preparation and delivery of food. Overall service was excellent. We will be back.
Our bottle of wine was half price on Sunday, the food was delicious, and the service at just the right pace so that we did not feel rushed or ignored. A great dining experience!
All of the dishes are freshly prepared, no steam cabinets or warming lights here!
The menu always has interesting specials in addition to an abundance of great entrees and salads.
Great service. Food was A tonight. Bistro steak and fries for two....
One of our favorite places - reliably good to great food, attentive service, comfortable atmosphere and a great patio that belies the fact it is in a shopping centre. We were a party of 4 people at our last visit and we all left happy.
Always a favorite place to go for dinner. Service is always good, ambiance is great, and the food is yummy
Had the special that night which was a NY Steak, Loaded mashed potatoes and green beans. My wife had Sole. Both were excellent. Service was great. Nice neighborhood gem.
Consistently great food and great service. Wonderful ambiance whether inside or out.
7 people ... all liked their dinner a lot. Creative cuisine.
From the east coast and every visit to the Palm Springs area would not be complete without dining at LaBrasserie. In 10 days we were there twice. Service and quality of cuisine is truly outstanding. Parking is usually not difficult. Recommend reservations and requests are accommodated when possible.
We had great service and great food. The prices fit the venue.
Service was very good and food was solid French bistro style. Definitely will be back.
Nice atmosphere and good food. We enjoyed the evening.
Great for quick bite in nice atmosphere- fast service and good food.
We have been here many times and as usual the food was excellent. The menu has changed, but is still excellent.
The service, however, left us a bit peeved!! One of our party flew from Germany to volunteer at a local event (LQAF) so 2 of 6 of us were about 30 minutes late for the 5:15 reservation. The staff were informed upon arrival. We were informed that we must be finished by 7:30!! Rather an unpleasant beginning...
The waiter was a bit distracted and inattentive. The water server was so distracted that he frequently poured water everywhere but in the glass!!!
Great food, but the treatment and service left a bad taste in our mouths, this time.
One of the very few restaurants in the area where the chef actually cooks your meal to order rather than just reheating the usual. Their truffle fries are a decadent treat than can be offset with one of their excellent salads.
Food was delicious and service was prompt, friendly and helpful.
We love the food. Beef liver was best we ever had, Escargot was the best and Dee Dee, our server was also THE BEST.
The food is always excellent, but the kitchen is slow, not the service. Thirty minutes between salad and entree is too long, but when it comes it’s excellent.
Great dinner, very accommodating in minor changes to menu items. We love the patio but weather was not conducive to sitting outside. Our waitress Deedee was excellent, how many of them get hugs from patrons on the way out. Loved La Brasserie.
A gem in a shopping center - one of our favorites. Sunday night is 1/2 price bottle night for their nice wine
list, and happy hour extends til closing. Just a terrific value given the great food, nice surroundings and excellent service. Very highly recommended,
We have been going to La Brasserie since it opened. I think that means we like it. For its style and quality, nothing around La Quinta quite parallels it. We paid the price of going there on a Saturday night (in season) before a concert at the McCallum. Not surprisingly, it was quite busy, but we were taken to our table immediately. (Bonus points for honoring a reservation.) The noise level was high and the service was hit-or-miss. Still, we had a fine dinner. My liver and onions with bacon, mashed potatoes and green beans was as good as this entree gets. My wife's onion soup and fried cheese salad were enjoyed also. We'll go back, but not on a Saturday in season.
Food was excellent. Service was friendly and fast. Great place.
We are never disappointed with La Brasserie Bistro. The beef bourguinon is superb! Highly recommend it.
All was very good.
Would come back.
ONLY problem was asst waiter/delivery person who was not trained in proper serving. Dropped plates hard while serving. Reaching across one to serve another...no finesse.
Overall, our experience was a good one. Our guest miscommunication with the waitress, who thought she wanted the special, but she didn't! She said it would take quite awhile to redo the order, so she brought part of it, but the mood was ruin for our guest. She adjusted the price, brought a complimentary dessert as her way of making good. Still, it was a bit of a mood buster. The waitress was very nice and did her best to make up, so we didn't fault her for the mistake. We would probably go back and give it another try.
This restaurant has been a total favorite for several years. We used to enjoy it for lunch - were there many times and the last time November -2017 - however when we returned to the desert on Feb 3 this year we discovered- to our GREAT dismay-- it is no longer open for lunch. Bummer!!!! It was our favorite place to entertain good friends and/or business associates without the complications of dinner. At any rate, we took other good friends Saturday night and had a wonderful dinner, beautifully prepared and plated - and served with grace and panache. Our server told us that the venue was missing some staff that evening but you would never have guessed from the presentation, quality of food and service, and the total experience. If you enjoy French food/, wine and ambiance, this should be on your MUST list!!
Good food and service a bit expensive
Wish we lived closer... we'd go a lot more often! We have been going there for special occasions once a year the past 3 years. The food is very good. The service is always friendly and attentive. We love it. This year, we decided to bring our 2 young kids. It was their first taste of french cuisine. They are usually picky eaters, but were asking to go again the next day.
Cold seating. Food only fair. Service excellent. Would not recommend.
It was excellent. Joe, our waiter, was also excellent. Loved the ambiance. Plan on going back.
We booked three weeks in advance for Valentine's Day. We received our preferred time. We had never tried this restaurant and we live nearby. We were seated in an breezeway junction between the outdoor patio seating and the main pathway to and from the kitchen and bar. It appeared the table was added for the anticipated busy holiday. The table was not balanced correctly and rocked every time we touched it. The waiter had to put a matchbook or something to level it out. We were managing the high traffic area okay. We didn't wait long for initial contact by a very pleasant albeit inexperienced waiter. I received my cocktail in a reasonable time frame. But every other course had to be asked for via the wait staff. We finally got our entree after being in the restaurant one and three quarters hours. My wife was livid and needless to say it will not go down as a positive Valentine's Day. Are reservation requests booked through Open Table given the non preferred table locations?
Don't go if it's Valentines Day. Should have know better! Seated 20 min. late. Waited 20 more min. before asking for some bread and butter. Finally took order and thirty min. before first course arrived! All in all it took over 2 and a half hours for dinner.
The place has great outdoor seating and going on a week day night would probably work better. Take your own wine, ($20), corkage but much cheaper than wine prices there.
Will go back but most likely for lunch or mid week dinner.
A great and popular Valentine's meal! Special menu was offered, but we ordered ala carte. Food was excellent, I had the Sole and my husband had the Steak and Frites....also the delicious onion soup...very authentic! It was very crowded and service was slow, but quality of food maintained. I don't like the new policy of not seating reservations until the exact time of the reservation...we arrived a few minutes early...our table was vacant, but due to the crowd I guess they were staggering seatings. Wait space is limited, bar space is limited and it would seem better to just get people seated. The hostess acts like you are offending them by arriving early....less than 10 min! Maybe they are just making time for table "resets" but it should be done with more graciousness. No flower or Happy Valentine's Day as we left either. :(
