The tapas were good, reminiscent of Madrid. Paella was not so good, rice was undercooked and crunchy, chicken was dry, shrimp was rubbery.
This place is always good. Food and service was excellent. The venue is a bit noisy so it’s hard to carry a conversation. While we were there, the power went out for an hour and they did a great job accommodating everyone.
Service was disappointing, very slow.
The server was very helpful and prompt.
We went for Brunch. We have been many times in the evening, brunch was fair. Service was good, but the kitchen was ridiculously slow.....love La Bodega, but Brunch is not its strong point.
Great food great service, highly recommended this place and their seafood paella.
love the food but a bit pricey
Love La Bodega and was glad to finally get back for lunch with family. Discovered their new lunch menu with sandwiches and we tried a few. We enjoyed the turkey manchego with apricot mustard and almonds sandwich but was not as excited about the San Sebastián Chicken Salad Sandwich. The latter tasted more of chicken and mayo than of any of the other cranberry and few golden raisin ingredients. All of us loved the pancetta date tapas plate. The table bread was pedestrian and not warmed. It graciously offered when they were afraid there might be delay in delivery our food when so many of us were ordering lunch at the same. Overall, we love this place and will come back for more tapas.
We love La Bodega and recommend it all the time to adventurous friends who want to try delicious food that's not your normal midwestern fare. The food is fresh, well-prepared and we love the "tapas-style" way of bringing things out as they are ready, rather that serving them all at once. It feels like a never-ending feast!
Seven friends decided to get together for Happy Hour. The Tapas and the service were incredible. We tried the Spanish Coffee and it is to die for.
Great place, great Happy Hour and friendly knowledgeable staff.
What more could you ask for?
Disappointed our food was served lukewarm. We mentioned this to server after the first small plate was nearly finished and she promptly removed our dish before we could even finish it! Even after informing her of our lukewarm food, only one of our 6-7 tapas ordered was actually served hot. Don’t think we will be returning.
Great as always.
I am really rooting for this restaurant, it has a great location and different food.
Everything was very good. We were not offered bread as we waited for our dinner and felt a bit “ rushed” by our waiter.
Very average and did not taste like real Spanish tapas. For example, I ordered a smoked salmon and asparagus dish and they dumped a TON of mustard sauce on it. The whole dish tasted only like the overpowering sauce. Very average experience. Not worth the cost.
Visited for brunch. Food and service were absolutely wonderful. Will definitely be back and would recommend.
Love the varied food choices and the ability to share with everyone at our table.
Great! Nice table, great server, food and ambiance great too.
Love La Bodega.... one of our go-to restaurants!
Excelleny variety of hot and cold tapas as well as regular menu and very tasty sangrias
Great foods. Great service. Overall great experience.
LaBodega did not disappoint. The food is amazing. The wine selection is wide and varies for any pallet. The ambiance is comfortable for a short stay or longer. The wait staff was very friendly, helpful, attentive but not intrusive.
Overall, great experience and definitely a place to return to.
It was a first time experience for half of our group. Excellent service, food, atmosphere, conversation and company!
Service was amazing! Great wine and the food was so delicious! We ordered the Spanish coffee, and the presentation was great entertainment as well as delicious. I’ve moved from I’m the KC area, but each time I visit I make sure I go to La Bodega, always so wonderful!
Impecably managed . Always enjoy the experience. The food and service is always consistent. We are regulars.
Delicious food, friendly service but our waitress disappeared at the end of our meal so it was longer time than desired.
Always a great experience
It is a shame that I forget to go back to La Bodega because we have never had a bad experience with this restaurant. The food was great and the service was attentive. We will be back.
Great place to split a paella or to enjoy tapas and wine. I'm not a huge fan of the sangria here but the wine menu is very good.
Amazing meal as always. Service is even better than the food if that is possible.
Great service. The tapas were good, but they tend to deep fry everything and make them too salty for my taste.
Never fails to satisfy. Our California guests want to come back. Churros are the best.
Always consistently delicious, and the staff is very friendly. Tapas are their specialty, but since I tried the vegetable paella, I don’t order anything else! It’s always a treat when I get dinner there!
Loved the fireside seating and the wonderful coffee dessert drink! Always fun to try the different tapas! Thanks for a lovely evening!
Our server Luke was outstanding. I highly recommend him as a server, I couldn't of had a better experience.
This was my first visit to this restaurant and we could not have been happier with the food and service.
We were a group of 4 people, there for lunch, and enjoyed the Cuban sandwich, salmon, Veggie Paella and Paella Valenciana, all were excellent. Plus the White bean soup was yummy. Then, the deserts...we split 3 between 4 people and all were very good. Must try!
Excellent delicious wonderful
excellent non-mexican Spanish food with great ambiance, service and music.
