La Boca Steakhouse
This place never disappoints!!!
Pésima comida y peor atención
My guest had eaten there a couple of days earlier and raved about it. We decided to go there and were impressed. I would eat there again the next time I’m in New Orleans.
Super time all around // reservation made it easy... the staff was friendly.. the environment was great for conversation... and best all was the food... two different dishes, appetizer and dessert ... everything tasted amazing.
La Boca is OUTSTANDING!!!
Food always cooked to perfection & flavorful.
Highly recommend dining here!!!
I would have give them 5 star without a problem. The Provoleta was very good and well presented, the meat, we had the Vacio, was tender and full of taste and worth going back. Unfortunately I got a bad surprise when I ordered the empanadas. Great flavor but they were reheated and not cooked at the order time, hence they were dry and not very good. I told my server and I hope they are going to remedy. Anyway a great place and I’ll go back.
Katie was our server and was absolutely wonderful. She offered lots of information about the food, made great recommendations and was so chill and personable. Not pretentious at all. Thanks and we will be back!!
Great food and wine!
It was amazing
I went for the different cuts of meat rather than the standard steak cuts. Had the skirt steak with skin. Was good, not excellent. Others had sirloin and filet - again was good, nothing exceptional Had the gaucho plate - while the sausage and empanada was good the sweetbreads were over done.
Amazing food and atmosphere! Loved the ambience and the delicious food and drink!
Good steaks! Lots of different choices of cuts! Good atmosphere in a fun part of town
Haven’t been to La Boca in years, we still loved it!! The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Glad we decided to go. Look forward to going again.
Always a treat! Thanks for being consistently awesome, delicious, with excellent customer service.
WAY WAY overpriced. Especially for butcher cuts of meat such as flank and hanger.
Too noisy and limited.
Will not be back with so many other quality steak places in NOLA. Save your money and gone elsewhere
Loved it! 3rd time dining there and they always go the extra distance for my experience. recommended highly!
Been on the list for a long time. Wife took me for my birthday this year.
Smaller restaurant than expected, but nice interior.
Good vibe, and a very nice staff.
La Boca is unique in it's protein selections. You can play it safe, but don't. Stretch your culinary experience to enjoy the sweetbreads or the skirt steak con el piel (with the skin). Finger licking good. Great wine selections to wash down your meal. Don't miss the empanadas and the gaucho plate (sampler).
Always amazing, great food, great value!
Great steaks, service, atmosphere, wine, and company. Will definitely come back soon.
Went here for a birthday celebration looking for a great steak that wasn't one of the New Orleans steakhouses we've been to before. Was really looking for Kobe beef, but willing to settle for American Wagyu. The place is nice and charming enough with a helpful wait staff. We chatted at the bar over cocktails while we waited on our table as we showed up a bit early for our reservation. Once seated we were helped with a wine selection and a rundown of the specials. They were talking up an American Kobe offering as one of the specials. For the informed, true Kobe is from Japan. These folks are peddling American Wagyu. I don't have a problem with that since I know better, and expected it was be as good as the last A-5 Wagyu we had. We ordered it ans a skirt steak to move away a bit from the traditional cuts. We did appetizers first. The grilled provolone was pretty darned good, but you have to eat it pretty quick. Despite being served in a small cast iron skillet, it still cools rapidly and starts to set up. We followed that with the meat empanada which was a little drier than I expected and milder than I expected. Perhaps I don't know jack about Argentina. The steaks came out and things went a bit downhill. The so called Kobe was a disappointment. I've had $30 steaks elsewhere that put this to shame. The skirt steak was just okay. Good enough, easy to forget. Luckily we had ordered the La Boca fries, which on the hand hand, were really good, and s special chanterelle mushroom dish. The mushrooms were good. I cook these at home and expected a different group of seasonings since this is an Argentine style place. I was hoping for something more exotic tasting. Not mentioned yet are the table sauces. The red spicy style and chimchurri helped lend enough interest to the skirt steak to finish it. Our waiter's advice on a Malbec was spot on. We enjoyed it. For dessert we had caramel filled crepes. Very good, although it looked rather plain on the dish. Likely will not return.
Meat taste very dry and cheap
please have catsup available for fries. meat lacked seasoning
Amazing food and great service
As always, the absolute best steak in New Orleans. Lovely staff and a good-natured genial owner.
Great food! The sauces were delicious! Service was great and our waitress recommended 2 great jazz clubs to go to and they were awesome!
Unique variety of beef & other entrees. The meat was plentiful, delicious & cooked exactly to order. The staff was very courteous & attentive. We’d definitely return & recommend this restaurant to others.
One of our favorite places to go. Was wonderful and would recommend highly.
Stopped in here with a business partner while attending a conference. Fantastic steaks and wine list. the side dishes were also quite good, but for two people, I would recommend sticking to a steak and one side to share!
Excellent beef; knowledgeable and helpful waiter. Good Malbec too.
La Boca is always spot on and wonderful. Three of us went for dinner and some wine prior to going to see live music close by. We were able to share some apps and steaks and wine and sides and everything was perfect. So perfect! If you haven't been, go! They have the absolute best steaks in New Orleans.
I forgot to use my gift certificate I won in a raffle so I'm glad to be going back soon!!
Best steakhouse in New Orleans. Hands down. The bone-in ribeye was fantastic, as was the hanger steak.
Conservatives not welcome at this restaurant. Owner disrespectful to anyone wearing a MAGA hat. Give you’re money to other great restaurants in this city.
Portions are large (I argue slightly too much so). Staff is very professional, but conversational. Great pride is taken in the meats, which are of top quality.
Adolfo Garcia has a winner here!
Always fantastic! From the cuts of meat, to the appetizers, wine list & desserts, it's always a home run. Just go!
We brought a PGA tour golfer and his girlfriend! They had a great time! The food was amazing!
Wonderfully tasty steaks and they let you have one steak between two people if you want - they are huge! Be prepared for a noisy ambiance though.
Great place. Everything was excellent as always.
Food was great. Server was very helpful in describing the differences between the types of steaks and in recommending the sides. Very enjoyable and tasty time.
Terrific food with a great waitress in a cool space.
Nothing better if you like to eat meat with an Argentine twist
