Authentic and well done. I look forward to next time.
Manny the server was amazing! Food was excellent.
Spacious, sunny outdoor table for a pleasant, unhurried Friday lunch. Moroccan couscous with lamb and red wine. Wonderful dessert to top it off. Pleasant staff.
Ordered a pasta dish with shrimp and vegetables. While the shrimp and vegetables were cooked well the overall dish was swimming in butter/oil.
I have been a loyal customer for the longest time. I live on the same block and have been here many times when almost nobody Was at the restaurant. I knee most of the servers. Then came the pandemic. Then came outdoor seating. Lo and behold they become quite popular. Since re-opening I have made two reservations each one of them at least a day or two ahead of time. Guess what? They sat me in what will be equivalent to Siberia.☹️🤓😱. Obviously loyalty doesn’t mean anything to this place.
We've always enjoyed the food and the fabulous French pastries. Never had anything I wouldn't have again.
It’s always so delicious and atmospheric at La Bergomot. They go to great lengths to be accommodating and it’s always such a treat- breakfast, lunch or dinner!
Service was exceptional.
My friend and I had a wonderful dinner experience at la bergamote. The staff there all were very nice and polite.
Very good food. Socially distanced nice outdoor dining. Service was good but food delivery slow.
Nice neighborhood unpretentious French food and bakery. Best croissants in NYC.
All around great place to drop in in the daytime for a meal or snack.
Tasty food, great customer service :)
Great option for outdoor seating and light fare. The chilled butternut squash soup was delicious!
Delicious meal. Excellent service.
Tonight’s Valentine’s Day was celebrated with a special mente for the evening and everything was scrumptious!
Authentic and amazing food as well as wonderful service. Would come here again. All the food was spot on.
Love Bergamonte but was a little disappointed today. I ordered croque monsieur and my lunch companion had the risotto. The risotto was a “crowd” pleaser. However, though the bread and cheese were nicely crisped the sandwich significantly lacked flavor.
Whether for breakfast, dinner, or just a quick coffee it's wonderful to have Bergamote in the neighborhood. The food is creative and tasty, the staff welcoming and friendly, and you feel like your at home immediately. The menu changes seasonally, with new surprises always around the corner. My current favorites is the BEET & YOGURT Salad... Roasted Beet, Pear, Pistachio, Orange & Arugula. And the soups are awesome. Always perfect!
Loved the service and the food !
chicken dish and fries. ooo lala. depending on who waits on your table, you will have more and more questions answered. chocolate desert hits the choco-lovers-spot
My wife LOVED her salad over Yogurt and her Cod entre. My chicken was great. Brian and Xisama were terrific. Thanks!
The service was atentive and the burger was yummy. Loved the soup. A small bistro with beautiful desserts.
Thanks for making our dinner awesome and also helping us celebrate promotions and our friend’s first baby on the way! :) Staff was awesome, welcoming, and really friendly
Charming bistro. Spacious seating makes for a comfortable meal. Salmon was delicious. Great bread. Right near the Atlantic theater so very convenient for a show.
.
This quiet neighborhood restaurant spot has an intimate vibe, fantastic food and friendly service.
We all had the salmon and shared sides of asparagus and fries. Each salmon was cooked exactly as we wanted— super rare to well done. Our server was attentive except slow in bringing the check.Bergamote is my go-to place for breakfast but dinner turned out to be pretty great too
Poached egg (only one served with avocado. disappointing), was over cooked. Excellent chocolate croissant, made a "a different location", was outstanding. Service was generally lacking. Slow, intermittent, unpolished. Overall, above average experience.
A little place inside a French bakery - service was good - food was good.
A favorite for breakfast. Lunch great too. Have not had dinner.
This place is always an absolute pleasure to eat at, when I'm in Chelsea to meet up with old friends at lunch. The service and cuisine are outstanding, especially for the cost! The noise level is on the lower side, so I can enjoy hearing conversation of those I'm dining with. I would eat here much more often, as well as dinner if they had a full bar, rather than just beer/wine. Unfortunately, many of my dining friends dismiss any place that can't serve a pre-dinner martini.
So good in every way possible. I feel deep gratitude for the bread.
The service was superb! Very hard to experience such fine customer these days. Best onion soup I’ve had in years. The duck was cooked as requested. However, the sauce had a bit too much cinnamon for my taste; steak Au poivre and French fries were delicious.
We plan to return.
a charming small cafe with good food and wonderful service!
Cozy, small, real French bakery and bistro. Zero pretense. Four entrees were ordered. One, a pasta, was over-salted. A else was above average. Tres bon.
Lovely food, great bread, very reasonable, especially by Manhattan standards.
The food was excellent. I have never seen honey cinnamon glazed duck breast on a menu before. It was amazing and cooked exactly as I had requested. My husband ordered the steak and our friend ordered the Veal scallop, both were also 100% satisfied with their food. The bread served with dinner was fabulous. Our only disappointment was that they don't sell the bread. Service was wonderful. We took home sandwiches and pastries for the next day. We will definitely be back for the great food and desserts and have more of the bread.
Enjoyable early dinner before seeing a production at the Atlantic Theatre Company.
From the food to our server—every nite was hit! ‘Will definitely be back soon!
The service is always good as good is the food. Always enjoy the quality served at LA Bergamote. I highly recommend it as gem in the neighborhood.
The food was excellent and the waiter attentive.
