Excellent neighborhood hideaway that never disappoints. Everything yummy, attentive service, great meal.
Pretty spot across 10th avenue with friendly staff. Went for brunch and enjoyed the eggs and specialty coffees - pastries are hard to resist! Also make good sandwiches on crusty French bread for take-a-away.
We had a great time visiting with friends and throughly enjoyed the amazing food that was offered! We couldn't have picked a better restaurant for the occasion! Just wish we hadn't had to rush off and could have enjoyed the amazing desserts on display! Next time!
Very good mussels and salad with a glass of champagne. Good for quiet conversation in a small cafe'.
I truly enjoyed my dinner! They were great and my evening was cozy ❤️
Really disappointing.. the service was really friendly but the food was less than ok and the place looked not nice
This is a great, neighborhood bistro. Excellent food, not adventurous cuisine, great service, friendly, not pricey. Nice time had by all. And there's a bakery in front.
Ate lunch there and it was great. Nice, small restaurant with a great atmosphere
A true French bistro, plus superb breads (best croissants in NYC) and cakes.
Great! I really like choosing dessert by vision!
I chose this restaurant among the many listings for French restaurants in Chelsea because of its "Neighborhood Gem" branding. An apt description! And it's worth a trip to the neighborhood to eat there. The food was delicious (I had the dairy free cauliflower and leek puree soup and the cod) and the service friendly and efficient. Really a nice meal. I look forward to returning.
We enjoyed the mussels to share as an appetizer. They have a good selection of entrees and desert selections. I enjoyed the duck breat with potato purée and my friend enjoyed the special risotto with lamb.
First, the very fine service, next the completely French experience in a low key manners with delicious food and deserts to die for.
One of this joints many virtues is the server Andrew who seems to work every day and embodies the maxim, "service with a smile". He always seems genuinely happy to see regular guests and explain everything on the menu when needed...The food here is more from the school of comfort than confronting, but this makes it an well-intentioned local spot for a casual weeknight meal. Save some room for one of countless french pastries on offer. Fatten up on goodness! Peace.
We were all pleased with the food, specially the lamb in the menu, that was delicious. The apettisers were very tasty. Excellent service. Good wines as well. What we couldn't get over with, was that a French restaurant that doesn't use real napkins. For that we were kinda disappointed. I think the restaurant needs to Invest a little more on that, as it is a small restaurant, and real fabric napkins instead paper, would give even more presentation to it.
Everything is delicious, but deserts are to die for. Definitely leave room for desert!
This is a simple restaurant, attached to a bakery/patisserie. Easy French classics. Very convenient to Penn Station. Wonderful desserts.
This place is a rarity in the neighborhood...great food, good service and NOT LOUD!!!!
What a great neighborhood gem. Hopefully, it stays that way.
We always enjoy this local French restaurant. The ambiance always reminds me of Paris and their food is very good. Highly recommend the Coq au Vin and the Cassoulet. This is also a great place for brunch. The bakery and pastry section of the restaurant is perfect to take something back home when you ar done with dinner!
