Had a lovely time with two friends at dining under the stars in Media at La Belle Epoque. Staff is friendly, courteous, and timely but doesn't rush the table at all. We had a cheese plate, the nicoise salad, a seafood crepe, and the Noix de St. Jacques (diver scallops with an arugula/fennel salad, blackberries, and nectarines). We also splurged and got desserts and after-dinner drinks. Cocktails and wine selection are top-notch as well. Everything was fresh and delicious and served in appropriate portions (neither too much nor too little). They have a wonderful French menu with something that's sure to appease every palate as well as a delightful ambiance. On top of all that, while this is not a cheap restaurant, it is very reasonably priced for the exceptionally high quality of food and ambiance. I will definitely be back!

Lovely evening. Food was delicious. Would have liked the pace of serving to be slower and asked about coffee following our dessert before receiving the bill. The duck, steak, and chocolate mousse were delicious. Wines were also very good. Would prefer that the bread be left on the table. Would have liked the escargot to be presented in the shell. Overall, very good and we will be back.

We always have an amazing experience here! It is our favorite spot and the prices are excellent. Mussels are the best anywhere! And wonderful specialty cocktails. Love the small Paris Bistro feel.

Four of us went for dinner on Saturday with reservations. Everything was great except for my partner's lamb chops. They were overcooked and tough. He said nothing to no one. Stuff happens, I know. Would go again

Delicious meal and attentive service. We started with was probably the best mussels we’ve ever had followed by a delicious salad. Then there was the scallops which were nicely done with garnish of fruit and greens. Unexpected great combination. Maybe my new Media favorite!!!

We ate at La Belle Epoque on a summer Sunday evening. For openers, the escargots and the gazpacho were both delicious. The escargots came with a small French roll for dipping. Then the scallops and the halibut were equally good, with excellent vegetables. The French chardonnay was perfect. The ambience was very nice, with French music at just the right volume, and the service by Wes was outstanding. No, this is not a paid review; we just love this restaurant.

The food is excellent and creative. The restaurant was very noisy the evening we had dinner there. Energetic is a good description but it made conversation a bit difficult. Definitely would go back again, but knowing that it can get noisy.

Consistently delicious food and friendly service. The trout amandine is a particular favorite. I also recommend their seafood entree specials that are a creative mix of fish/seafood and accompanying vegetables.

Celebrated Father's Day and a special birthday - great Parisian vibe on corner in Media. As experts in all things pertaining to mussels, we all agreed they were fabulous with great bread to dip in the amazing sauce. We had the scallops, trout anf filet maon dishes - all were wonderful.

My only complaint is that My hubby and I ordered mushroom omelet with SWISS cheese rather than the goat cheese. We were specific and told by our server that they could do that. So the omelets both arrived with goat cheese, ugh. Couldn’t eat it.
