About La Bella Vita Ristorante in enoteca Lounge
The new culinary experience, La Bella Vita Ristorante in Inoteka Lounge, will be approachable, intimate and engaging, referencing Trattorias surrounding the Piazzas of Italy. The interior design will complement the artful manner in which the food is prepared and served at the Antipasto Bar and Marketplace. The rustic finishes and textural materials will be genuine elements most commonly found in domestic Italian kitchens, such as marble, wood, copper and iron. Lighting and decorative fixtures will be strategically placed to enhance the food and create an intimate atmosphere; subtly illuminating the diverse dining areas. The color palate of the interior and patterns of the carpets and fabrics will be derived from both the food and the rich Italian history. The luminous colors of the ocean provide an additional dimension to the dining experience at Bella Vita.

La Bella Vita Ristorante in enoteca Lounge Ratings and Reviews
Lobster Bisque was only warmish, had few pieces of lobster from the tip of the claw where it is dry and tasteless, whole dish lacked flavor. Pizza was no better, very bland with chunks of unseasoned, dry breast meat unevenly scattered over it. Altogether disappointing.
We observed my 70th birthday dinner and had not only a creatively delicious and beautifully prepared meal but were charmed by our wait staff who were warm and friendly without being intrusive. This was our sixth visit in six years of coming to Maine to our timeshare condo, and we could not imagine a more perfect vacation eatery. Bravo.
Pleasant surprise, as were are from out of state and after what seemed to be a long ride down s dark road... it was well worth the drive!!!
Food & Service were awesome.
It was dark so we didn’t get to see much of the property.., we went back the next day before leaving Rockport.
Beautiful... will definitely return.
We have eaten at this Italian restaurant inside the Samoset Resort several times. Always good! It is a very well-run operation. Our server was excellent. He was a real pro and had a great personality. Service did lag at the end of our experience mainly because it got very busy and they didn't have enough servers scheduled. Menu stand-outs on this trip were the meatballs with polenta and the salmon.
Great meal! We were in the area for a wedding and decided to try it out. We were not disappointed. We had salads, entrees, and dessert and were comfortably full. The outdoor view from our table was beautiful and the restaurant itself was elegant. Would definitely return, when in the area again.
Good wine selection. Caprese salad is usually all the same, however this one was outstanding. Pasta dish and entrees we ordered were both tasty. Server was personable and gave an honest recommendation when asked about an entree. Would come back whether we stayed at Samoset or not.
The selection for wines by the glass was outstanding - had a mellow chianti. The ingredients were fresh and food was delicious. I highly recommend the seafood stew rustica - in addition to the seafood that was deliciously cooked, rather than a thin broth it was more like a tomato sauce that was wonderful! And the prices, while not low, were very reasonable. I think the restaurant has made a mistake by not posting the prices on the website because it might discourage people who would therefore think it was very pricey.
We were on a getaway to the Camden area and this was the worst meal that we had during our stay. The chicken piccata was bland and had a sauce that was overly thickened with flour - I had to request additional lemon slices to make it somewhat edible. A veal dish was a bit better, therefore the 2 star rating rather than one star. There are so many great restaurants in this area - don't bother with this one.
Sorry to say Enoteca was a disappointment after reading all the great reviews. We had a party of 6 and the restaurant was not particularly busy on a recent Saturday night. Our waiter messed up the cocktail order and also brought one incorrect entree. This meant one person had to wait to be brought up to speed with the rest of the diners. Our pre-arranged plan for recognition of a special birthday never happened despite everyone ordering dessert. The entrees were just okay. The menu is nothing special, pretty average assortment of the usual entrees. When asked what the most popular dishes are, the waiter responded with his own personal likes and dislikes (which was not the question asked!!)
Staying in the Belfast, ME area for vacation we've seen a lot of different restaurants and in a web search La Bella Vita came up; it's an easy, 30 minute drive to Rockland (and the resort it sits on); our reservation was handled promptly, the service throughout the meal was excellent, as was the food, from appetizer through dessert...everything was expertly prepared, a couple of small requests and changes were no issue, and the timing of courses was perfect. Again, the service was wonderful and we'll certainly be returning this winter.
Ate for first night at Samoset. Food was ok. Nothing special. Expensive for what it is. Salmon was over cooked. Daughter's pizza was just ok a little clunky. Pasta with blognese was ok.
Service was friendly and attentive.
There are better local restaurants.
We vacationed at Samoset and dined in the restaurant all 4 days for both breakfast and dinner. The food was excellent especially the dinner meals. The servers were all pleasant and kind to us. We did find that service slowed down after the entree and one evening waited 30 minutes to get our bill. One other comment is the seats inside the restaurant. They are very uncomfortable. The dining room chairs without arms seem older and several people in our group complained of back soreness after sitting in them for several hours. After two nights of sitting in them we switched chairs from other tables.
We had a very special Summer dinner. For starters, we shared eggplant rolotini and excellent Brussels sprouts. Then one of us had a thin pizza and one had a Coastal shellfish stew. The seafood was amazing: mussels, lobster, shrimp and fresh fish in a spicy, chunky tomato sauce.
Food was delicious. Our waiter was awful. Even when he was at our table he didn't look at us and his attention was elsewhere. He simply couldn't have cared less about our experience. I was a waiter growing up and have a lot of sympathy for them but this guy was terrivle
