About La Bella Vita Ristorante in enoteca Lounge
The new culinary experience, La Bella Vita Ristorante in Inoteka Lounge, will be approachable, intimate and engaging, referencing Trattorias surrounding the Piazzas of Italy. The interior design will complement the artful manner in which the food is prepared and served at the Antipasto Bar and Marketplace. The rustic finishes and textural materials will be genuine elements most commonly found in domestic Italian kitchens, such as marble, wood, copper and iron. Lighting and decorative fixtures will be strategically placed to enhance the food and create an intimate atmosphere; subtly illuminating the diverse dining areas. The color palate of the interior and patterns of the carpets and fabrics will be derived from both the food and the rich Italian history. The luminous colors of the ocean provide an additional dimension to the dining experience at Bella Vita.

La Bella Vita Ristorante in enoteca Lounge Ratings and Reviews
Food was fine. Service left something to be desired. Twice while my wife had food in her mouth, a steak on her plate, and a fork in her hand, different staff asked to take her plate away.
The next day, we stopped at the bar in the same restaurant. The bar top was dirty, there was a pile of dirty dishes behind the bar, and the staff was standing around complaining about how busy it was expected to be in the evening.
The waiter was new and very unprepared. He had to go to the kitchen to get answers on every question we had about the menu. Then, after waiting a considerable amount of time, we were presented with the wrong entrees. The manager came over and apologized and offered free dessert. When the correct entrees came out, the steaks were cooked well done even though they were order rare and medium rare. So again we had to wait for our dinner to be prepared for a third time. Would not recommend this restaurant at all!
Enjoyed a birthday dinner for my wife. The evening we went was a holiday weekend and the restaurant was extremely busy, so having a reservation was a must as we were seated exactly for the time we had requested. The bar was inviting and a great place to wait and have a few drinks prior to dinner as we decided to arrive early instead of walking the resort due to weather conditions. The server was very friendly and knowledgeable, and went above and beyond expectations, and did not constantly check-in, which for me is a nice quality as I hate being asked every 5 minutes "how is everything". Ask me once and if I have a problem, I will let you know, so it was refreshing to be left alone to enjoy dinner and my wife. The only draw back to our dinner was that the area we were seated was close quarters and I felt like I was having dinner with the people to my left and right instead of my wife. Overall, great experience, and the food was great and of reasonable pricing and portions.
From the entree to the service, from the ambiance to the dessert this restaurant met and then exceeded our expectations. Surrounded by a beautiful resort and golf course; the layout just takes your breathe away and makes you want to plan your wedding there. We only went to have dinner but it felt like we could have spent the week there. Maine is beautiful and fun and for a fancy and delicious night out get to La Bella Vita Ristorante.
We sampled lots of dishes as there were four foodies in the group. Loved our meal and had three courses each which were tasty and varied. The menu does slant towards interesting apps and meats so if you are a vegetarian this might not be your place. But we took our time, had a fabulous view and really enjoyed.
Pricey but the food was excellent. We shared the surf & turf (two petit filets cooked perfectly) and three large breaded shrimp. For the price they definitely could have divided it in the kitchen--awkward doing it at the table--and they very skimpy with the asparagus. I would rather have had them charge to share and accommodated those of us older folk with smaller appetites.
I hadn't dined at your restaurant in a few years. Something has changed in that time. It used to be a place I told all my friends about but this time things just didn't taste as amazing. To top it off my lobster claw was not cooked through so I couldn't eat it.
I recently dined during a "girls' weekend" at The Samoset and had a great experience. The lounge and restaurant is beautiful and sophisticated with floor to ceiling windows facing the ocean. Service was excellent and friendly. We had delicious cocktails and homemade bread while we waited on our entrees. My steak with truffle mash and grilled asparagus was lovely. A pescatarian friend ordered the rustic seafood stew; a beautiful dish she loved but could not finish. Our other companion ordered chicken parm with handmade pasta, and we shared a yummy tiramisu dessert. We dressed for the occasion given the "resort casual" requirement noted on the website; but observed other diners in jeans and wish we were in on that secret before making the trip. Overall a lovely and enjoyable dining experience.
We always come here to celebrate our belated Valentine's Day weekend. The food was delicious, quickly served & nicely prepared! The drinks were yummy too! Dessert was waiting in our room-chocolate covered strawberries & wine! 5 stars from us! See you next year❤️
The table was ready when we got there, the server was quickly at the table giving out menus and taking drink orders. Food was delivered on time, but not rushed. The food was very good and we had an excellent bottle of wine.
We were four people and all enjoyed their food very much. We returned the next night and at least one had the same meal and others ordered what someone else had had the night before. I think our server was Christienne in any case she was great, discreet and flawless in her delivery.
Not for vegetarians
We were looking forward to dinner, included with our stay at the Samoset Resort. Unfortunately as vegetarians, we had one entree choice, and as a gluten-free vegetarian, didn't have one choice. The kitchen sent out two pasta dishes with mushrooms, peas and peppers in a light garlic wine base. Both dishes were average, nothing we would ever recommend or want again. The gluten-free pasta was overcooked, a perfect accompaniment with the gluten-free toast they sent out when we arrived, as well as the $21 cheese plate consisting of tasteless soft cheeses.
Service was great and the beverage was the best part of the meal. Save your dinner plans for one of the many local restaurants.
La Bella Vita has an elegance that reserves for itself room for the casual. We were a party of five and found it to be a lovely place to celebrate the occasion for which we were dining out. The atmosphere of the Samoset and the ambiance of the restaurant were appreciated, as was the good service and the splendid assortment of appetizers, soups and salads, and entrees on the menu. The wine selection was ample as well. We shared appetizers and wine, but each of us ordered a separate entree and were individually pleased with the results of our selections. The servings were generous enough that we all passed on the dessert menu, despite its appeal. Overall, a fine dining experience. I would definitely recommend La Bella Vita to a friend or acquaintance.
I made reservations online which weas confirmed via email. Good thing it wasn't to busy and we were able to be seated. The host stated he could not find our reservations for 2. I offered to show our confirmation # and he said that didn't help and wouldn't be needed. My boyfriend ordered a $35 dinner and his meat which was ordered med rare came out well done with no pink. Our waitress did take his meal off the bill. I would not recommend using the online reservations due to beibg unreliable.
Excellent food and phenomenal service - the best service I've had in the local area in months! The dishes are creative, and even the descriptions of each one make you want to try them all. I will definitely be back again soon. I realize that La Bella Vita is an Italian restaurant, but I would encourage the owners to add more french wines to their inventory. If you haven't been here, go try it!!!
