Service was pretty good. I ordered la Bella vita veal and my girlfriend had the special which was assorted ravioli. The ravioli was great, but the veal was incredibly dry making it overpriced. The wine was fantastic though. We settled on one of the 39 dollar bottles of Cabernet Sauvignon from Italy.
Good enough that I wasn’t upset, but probably won’t go back.
The food was great. However, I was not advised by the waiter that one of the specials of the day that was offered (linguine with mixed seafood) was enough to serve three people.
Personable staff and good food make up for tight quarters on coldest day of the year. The restaurant even had door security to hustle people into the waiting area or restaurant with the least bit of cold air coming in.
Lovely restaurant very accommodating. It is very small and cramped but don’t let that put you off. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Christmas Dinner was made awesome with the super friendly wait staff. Loved everything from cocktails to appetizers to dinner to dessert. Be sure to stop by here - you won’t regret it
PERFECT! As someone said as the 7 of us were enjoying everything, "When I come back I wouldn't know what to order because everything was soo good." Thank you for a wonderful Christmas dinner.
Service too long
Great Italian cuisine still exists in Little Italy contrary to the rumors. The service was great, atmosphere friendly and you feel at home in this cozy restaurant. I ordered the bruschetta and ravioli (3 types) with vodka sauce; my only regret is that I’m not in NYC long enough to go back for the veal.
This is a go to place every time my wife and I visit New York. The food and service are exceptional.
Just fell in love with this spot. There are the little Italy spots that overwhelm with food and traditional settings. La Bella Vita is an elevated experience and I can’t wait to go back. Can’t go wrong with the specials and just enjoy the care these guys put forth!
