La Bella Vita Ratings and Reviews
We stumbled upon that restaurant after seeing that it was best overall on the open table website.
If you are looking for a luxurious or trendy setting, this is not it. But if you are looking for absolutely delicious fresh pastas, great crunchy warm bread. This is it.
Waitress was disinterested and made excuses for why she ignored us. Didn't inquire if we wanted dessert or coffee had to bring it up. Table didn't have glass top like others. Hostess asked us after we were seated if we had a reservation. We did, but it made us feel unwanted. Food was good, not great.
Lovely place with solid menu and tables spaced for privacy. Attentive wait staff. We love that there were reservations accepted. Our table of five was well attended and our meals were delicious, authentic and well prepared. We had various items including veal, shrimp and seafood combination pasta. The Calamari appetizer was excellent, crisp and fresh tasting. Vodka sauce and fresh tomato sauce was flavorful and satisfying.
We'll be back for sure when in town again!!!
We had a lunch meeting for 11 and were delighted with the service, food, atmosphere and staff. They were able to seat us in a semi-private area for our large group which was perfect from a privacy, sound and discussions perspective. Service was prompt, attentive, polite and very delightful throughout the entire time we were there. Food was spectacular. As a matter of fact I saw a lot of empty plates. We would definitely recommend La Bella Vita to anyone looking for exceptional Italian food in an intimate and convenient location.
Food was fantastic! Service was unprofessional, too casual and very awkward. Also they advertise on their website they do 1/2 price bottles of wine on Wednesdays but apparently that was under old ownership. They don't offer that anymore and wouldn't honor it even though they haven't taken it off their website. Will go back for the food only, will likely do takeout to avoid the service and will gladly give my tips to the kitchen instead. Again, food was spectacular.
We are very particular about Italian food, and this is the only place in Colorado Springs, CO to meet our expectations. All of us (7) were very happy with our meals. In addition, our server was just terrific -- knowledgeable and fun. It was a great way to celebrate my 81st birthday. I know we will return several times before my 82nd!
I am not sure how this place has as high a rating as it does. I’m wondering if they are true reviews. I had a issue while dinning there. I will not get into it, but after trying to contact the
Restaurant no one ever respond. This alone shows they don’t care. If you check out my profile I have never left a bad review.
The food was bland and Un-flavorful. Most of the wait staff seemed upbeat but ours was terrible. The location is awful and the building as you pull up will make you wonder if you should go inside. The floor is all carpet with stains all over. It makes you question the overall cleanliness of the restaurant.
My advice Stay Away!
Nico our food extrodinar (waiter) was great. As he was describing the menu you could feel your mouth begin to water. The lasagna was incredible and the shrimp in tomato sauce was just as good. This was the third time we have been there and it just keeps getting better.
Great restaurant and Authentic Italian food prepared perfectly! We visit here a couple of times per year and have been extremely pleased each and every time. The manager and staff ensure you are well taken care of beside making you feel like your eating at their dining room table! Wine selection is spot on and the special dishes are amazing!
The Chicken Rolotini was freshly prepared and delicious. The sides of broccoli and "roasted" potatoes were flavorful, though one wouldn't likely recognize the potatoes as roasted. Timmy did a nice job as server, following up to be sure the wine and entree were to my liking.
