La Bella Vita Ratings and Reviews
No gluten-free pasta on any Friday because the chef doesn't want to make it? If you're going to advertise GF pasta, then exclude it because you don't like doing it on Fridays, you should expect poor reviews. I was ready to walk. My wife is the one that is GF and she is the who decided to try something else.
Valentine’s Day dinner. Called ahead to ask about special menu and was told there was one but that we could order from the regular menus as well. We were going specifically for the linguine vongole something impossible to find in the Springs. To my disappointment we were informed once we were seated that we could not order this. The manager/owner came over and apologized that we had been misinformed but that chef would NOT budge. Very disappointed!
The food we settled with was very good, service was excellent by Garfield. Ambiance leaves a little to be desired, very out dated, way too bright and a much much older crowd.
We may return for the linguine vongole in a different occasion.
Food was good but overly salty. You guys don't need to add a bunch of salt to a browned butter sauce! Veal was tender and cooked perfectly but again over salted. Burratta appetizer was excellent and not overly salty :-). Service was fast and friendly. We might give this another try but will consider other options first.
First visit to this restaurant. It was a great Valentine's date. The wait staff was very friendly and offered some good suggestions for food and dessert. We enjoyed the experience completely. At the end of the dinner the manager stopped by to see how we like it. That is a good sign as not all restaurants do this extra step
Our waiter Nicki was phenomenal as always. I had the veal with crapes and olives in a zesty tomato sauce. Every bite the flavors just exploded in your mouth. What a great meal. My wife had the lasagna bolognas which was just as amazing. Today was Valentine’s Day and they were very busy yet Eric the manager kept his pulse on everything and the restaurant ran like a well oiled machine. Great service !!! Thanks so much
Food was very flavorful. We had the lobster, scallops & crab special on Valentine’s Day. Our waiter was EXCELLENT attentive, non-intrusive but friendly and relatable. I can’t remember his name but he was from Jamaica.....Garfield may have been his name!
We have not been to the restaurant since it was Antonio’s and were surprised at how run down the carpet was with stains and the walls are pretty marked up. Definitely need to work on the ambience part. We would go back, however, because the food and service were top notch!
This place is a gem with an unassuming facade. The food is wonderful. The wait staff, specifically Niko, was fantastic. The staff were attentive, but unobtrusive. The food was flavorful, balanced and well presented. Our waiter was well versed in wine and passionate. Was quite the treat and my wife and I enjoyed the ambiance immensely.
Superb food! This is a hidden gem in Colorado. My wife and I drive from Denver just for this food. She lived in Italy and says this is the best and most authentic Italian food in Colorado. This restaurant shames other Italian restaurants in Cherry Creek and Denver. We love it!
Food was delicious, wait staff awesome, seating was not so close together you felt like you were on top of the next table so that was great as well. Only complaint would be the lighting, we are older and could not read menus lol. We would definitely recommend this place. Don’t let the outside appearance fool you because this place is one of the BEST ITALIAN restaurants I have been too.
We had family from out of town, and they are foodies. So we bounced around all week. Really enjoyed this one! Staff was very accommodating with their wine list and really went out of their way to describe what our choices were. We were very pleased!
I had my five year old son who devoured his penne pasta with alfredo sauce, only after we pulled the bread away from him. He would give the food a 10/10 which is saying something.
Food was great, I had the spaghetti carbonera and thought it was a generous serving and the sauce was great. Two people in our party had eggplant parm, and thought the cabernet complemented it well.
We will be coming back!
Loved the authentic Italian food and hand mixed, homemade cocktail (orange cello something?). Tiramisu was amazing as well. Dinner was slow coming but we were enjoying ourselves so it was ok. Service was ok but could be improved (removal of plates when finished).
Three of us ate dinner there. The food was pretty good (lasagna, eggplant parm, gnocchi), but not outstanding. Service improved after the initial exchange, when the waitperson was overly pushing alcoholic beverages. The location seemed a little odd, in a large building with a swim school, but that was not a deterrent.
After living in Italy for several years, it is delightful to find real Italian cooking again. The staff is amazing, the food authentic and delicious. We have been here on date nights, meals with friends and celebrating special occasions. Recommend most enthusiastically
An outstanding Italian restaurant that you should not pass up! I was in Italy for 2.5 years and this is the most absolute, authentic Italian I have ever had in the US. Service was phenomenal, intimate, and memorable. Thank you for making our night the best!!!
My family had dinner here Christmas Eve, it was our first time visiting and it was a big hit for everyone.
They had a specialty soup that night which was Lobster Bisque - it was reminiscent of our trips to Maine, everyone loved it.
Food was beyond delicious and there was something on the menu for everyone.
The staff was friendly, we were really impressed that one of the owners even stopped by the table at the end of our meal to see how it was. We will most definitely be back and my whole family will be recommending this restaurant to friends.
Decided on eating here after seeing the reviews....and boy oh boy did it even surpass all the great reviews!!! Everything about this place was excellent especially the food and service! I especially recommend the tiramisu, best I have had in years! Would highly highly recommend
Always a wonderful place to dine. Excellent, authentic Italian, with a very nice neighborhood like feeling environment. Wait staff superb: attentive, friendly, professional. Nice selection of moderately priced Italian wines. Great place to spend a relaxing evening with friends and family.
We stumbled upon that restaurant after seeing that it was best overall on the open table website.
If you are looking for a luxurious or trendy setting, this is not it. But if you are looking for absolutely delicious fresh pastas, great crunchy warm bread. This is it.
Waitress was disinterested and made excuses for why she ignored us. Didn't inquire if we wanted dessert or coffee had to bring it up. Table didn't have glass top like others. Hostess asked us after we were seated if we had a reservation. We did, but it made us feel unwanted. Food was good, not great.
Lovely place with solid menu and tables spaced for privacy. Attentive wait staff. We love that there were reservations accepted. Our table of five was well attended and our meals were delicious, authentic and well prepared. We had various items including veal, shrimp and seafood combination pasta. The Calamari appetizer was excellent, crisp and fresh tasting. Vodka sauce and fresh tomato sauce was flavorful and satisfying.
We'll be back for sure when in town again!!!
