I made reservations for Valentine’s Day. When I made the reservations, I was not told that it would be a pre-fix menu, I found out when I got there. Unfortunately, me and boyfriend stood there because most likely other restaurants were going to be packed. The food was less than okay, it could’ve been way better than the $45.99 and 20% gratuity. The food tastes kind of burnt. The appetizers were good and drinks. More than likely I would not go again.
It was very fabulous, the food was superb. Nothing was off point. The drinks were pretty good and not just ice and water but had the intense liquor strength one need.
The appetizer we had was mussels and the octopus and you could taste each and every flavor made with love. No mass product and no lengthy wait time.
Entree was Paella and T-Steak. The Paella was a serving for three. Never had one meal with so many seafood in it and tasted so good....
I can’t keep writing I’m tasting all over again.
This restaurant is superb and I recommend the world to go and enjoy!
Delicious food and great service. It was a little pricey but only because we didn’t know that some dishes are made to be shared so we ordered way too much food. We’re definitely going back so we’ll know next time.
The only real complaint I would have would be that they do not have an outer door and it was a cold night so we got hit with a chilly blast every time someone came in or out.
The food is delicious the price is ok
Never got to dine in, they have no way at of logging in to open table, they said password issues (they misplaced the password or something. Plus the kitchen closes at 10pm even though they are open til midnight.
This Cuban restaurant was as authentic as it can get. :-) My grandmother would be jealous.
Great food with reasonable pricing.
Definitely a place I would recommend to a friend.
Excellent Cuban food is a rarity in New York. This restaurant delivers that excellence with an exclamation mark.
Amazing food and great experience. I would highly recommend!
Love the restaurant. Love the food. Service was very good, but the food was very slow in getting to us from the kitchen. We waited over an hour.
HORRIBLE!!! Don’t Waste Your Time!
1) Made a reservation and I couldn’t even find a hostess or waitress so my family and I sat at a dirty table and had to wave someone down to clean it
2) had to look for someone to take our order
3) waited 80 mins for our food. My kids were beyond starving and complaining
4) Due to our religion, we can not mix meat and cheese. My son ordered a hamburger. They forgot and decided it was ok to scrape the cheese of the meat and bun. SO DISRESPECTFUL
5) Super loud
6) table next to me returned an appetizer bc it was not fresh
7) manager was no where to be found
Im not one to write reviews. I have worked in restaurants all my life but this place deserves to shut down. Horrible Customer Service. I didn’t even get one apology.
Once we were served, we had to search for our server for water, food and the check. The ambiance was so-so with some questionable folks walking in and out.
Very nice services and overall good food, place to look forward to go back!
Great service, great food, great prices. Quick reservations and great drink menu
My favorite place ever!
Great food and hookah. Service a bit off even though the restaurant was not crowded. However staff was very pleasant
La Bella Havana was absolutely fantastic. The food and the atmosphere were great! Can’t wait to go back!!
Our chicken was really salty. Waiter asked for my drink but when my girl was about to order hers he walked away. Was in his cell phone majority of the time, sitting literally 2 feet away from us
Half the menu wasn’t available... steaks that were ordered were not cooked as asked
It was my grandfather's 81st bday. I requested special outdoor seating in the reservation. when I arrived the outdoor section was taken and inside was empty. I was told take a seat wherever. so reservation doesn't matter. At first they didn't have lobster for my G-PA's paella but then they found a lobster... They didn't have the the items to make a the Havana burger so my uncle had to change his order. No free refills on fountain drinks in fact their 3.50 a pop plus tax. I also over heard another guest state that their wine was flat... I expected so much more. Also the churasko (Skirt Steak) was not that great, I've had better. I was very disappointed.
Authentic Cuban. Food - fabuloso. Welcoming atmosphere - lively bar with huge television. Attentive service.
It was Father's Day and they only offered a prefix menu. I was unhappy about the limited selection but understood the purpose of the prefix menu. However, I was extremely pleased with my meal when it arrived. So were the other members of my family. Tender and juicy steak, flavorful stuffed fish, and yummy guacamole. The service was attentive and timely. Unfortunately the restaurant needed lots of TLC. We were also bothered by the several Hookahs around us. The vapors burned the eyes of some members of my family. I would do take out next time.
You need to ask for the lunch menu and the lunch pricing.
We enjoy the food and opportunity to come to the Yonkers waterfront which is nicer each time we come. Bella Havana provides for people watching and food is good. It is however pricey for the area. It was a Friday night and not many tables were occupied. We hope to see downtown Yonkers be a hot and hip place to go but at these prices it misses.
Great sangria, so do as others do and go to the bar.
Service was terrible for the first time ever. Food was excellent but appetizers came out after entrees.
Probably OK if you are looking for a leisurely spot to grab a drink and spend some time with friends, but not the place to go if you want to get in and out quickly.
Arrived about 2:00PM for a late lunch with a colleague. There were only 2 other 2 top tables in use. Surprised to find they had a gluten-free menu! Eventually the bartender came over and asked us if we wanted drinks. We then had to flag down the 1 waitress that seems to be working, but possibly on break. We ordered our meals (pernil and cochinito) and proceeded to wait 40 minutes for the food to arrive to the table. My meal was just slightly warmer than warm, but definitely not hot. It was tasty, though. Bartender finished by bringing over our check after we flagged him down, as the waitress only came over to take the order. Overall, good food but service and speed could be improved.
We had the same waitress as last time and she remembered who we were right away it was great feeling and the place is amazing
The waitress was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed and the food was delicious. I would definitely come back again
It’s a decent inexpensive place to go to if your looking for somewhere to go locally in the yonkers area for brunch
Best pork shoulder I have ever had and portion was enormous (I got 3 meals from it). Lovely people and always true Cuban-dining experience.
Drinks pack a punch food is delicious
Great food and great ambiance . Love the music and how comfortable the place was.
The food here is always excellent. The wait staff was attentive but there was a long wait for the food
Blind date went well place was clean easy to find ,they even let us get up and dance salsa
Everything across the board was on point, from the atmosphere, food, drinks, service and prices. Naomi our server is the epitome of service. Will spread the word
Food is delicious, especially the octopus salad and platacon sandwich with fish. This sandwich is amazing made with plantains and on both sides and the fish inside with a tasty dressing with avacado. They make a delicious sangria also. The place is small and a bit noisy but enjoyable!!
Love it! The food amazing!
Only thing, they didn’t even know we had reservations so make sure you call too.
I can't say enough about the food. AMAZING. Because of the neighborhood it's in, unfortunately, I wasn't crazy about the people or the atmosphere but because of the food, I can easily overlook that. It's small and not the cleanest although they do try. I'd go back just because the food and the service was excellent. They just can't help who floats in there because of the neighborhood they're in. There was a gang smoking hookah in the front which i didn't mind being a smoker myself, but if that sort of thing bothers you, consider yourself warned. Great music.
