Everything was Amazing, service, food, people. Will def go back!
Negative: There was no wheelchair access in the washrooms or change table for a baby, and the counter space was not conducive to changing a baby or toddler there safely, had to use the floor.
Positive: The staff was very friendly and our waiter, Wallace, was amazing. We appreciated that we were able to bring in a Birthday cake, since it was a special occasion. We also enjoyed the appetizer that chef sent out, an arancini is what I think it was called. And loved all the chocolates, but would have liked to know what each one was/ or had in it.
Excellent Service and food!
My wife and I would and have recommended this restaurant to our in-laws and friends. We felt the food was more of an experience that was very enjoyable and we were treated wonderfully by the staff. We chose this place for our 25th anniversary and we were very pleased we did.
Overall outstanding service and food!! Great to enjoy a amazing dinner and be able to have conversations without loud music and noise. The staff are amazing!
Our 25th wedding anniversary dinner, and it was fantastic. Ordered the platter for two- highly recommended. Wallace was an incredible waiter. Thanks for making it a very special night.
When booking I added a note asking that 4 glasses of champagne be delivered when were seated as a 52 yr anniversary was being celebrated. Unfortunately no one paid attention to our booking request. I ordered an old fashioned which came with 3/4 of a glass of bar ice. Food was creative.
We went to the L2 Grill for breakfast on a Sunday morning. While the staff was absolutely great, we didn't realize the place would be filled with many many kids, so it was quite loud, unfortunately. Of course I will never blame kids for being kids, but if you are looking for a quiet breakfast this is not for you. The food was good. It would have been nice to see some vegan choices, such as almond milk, on the menu. It was very clean, the staff were terrific, and I would definitely go back.
Good quite good. Tenderloin was a bit chewy according to both guests who ordered it. Waiter mixed a drink wrong but quickly corrected it. He was very kind.
Had a great anniversary brunch here. Food was great! Probably one of the best buffet brunches in Edmonton. Loved it. Will definitely make it at least a yearly tradition. Keep the good eats coming.
The service was extraordinary!!
The Food was amazing
Everything was very good. Our server was very attentive and made sure we did not wait for anything. The only thing lacking was atmosphere. The food was great and reasonably priced but you feel almost like you are in a cafeteria rather than a finer restaurant.
Went in for the Father's Day buffet @ $48 per person and the buffet was limited to 2 tables and a sliced beef station. 2 small tables of desserts. I had some drumsticks and salad and tasted 3 desserts. The atmosphere was positively depressing. I know my mother in law had trouble finding anything to eat. And for the four of us, the bill came to $195. Really? Really? Never again. Sorry L2 but I had held you up to a higher standard = an average restaurant where no one gets poisoned.
Sorry, but it's the truth.
Incredible service, well taken care of, respectful staff. Overall, amazing!
The breakfast buffet was better than the supper. We enjoyed the buffet.
I was expecting more. Everything was just average. Nothing great. Nothing bad. Just average
We had dinner and breakfast here both nights we stayed at the hotel and it was fantastic!! Great service, great food! Will definitely be going back next time we are in town.
It is a nice atmosphere and fine dining food experience. Easy to find and great location. Recommended for family and couples alike. Highly recommended - food is top notch and excellent service.
Buffet only no menu
Food quality fine but nothing special
Not a lot of diversity
Good food with an pretty good selection. Was given a complementary appetizer and bread which was nice.
Food was good. Pretty good selection overall. Nice place to go when you want variety.
My salad was very lazy. It was whole leaves of romaine with dressing on it. Never been to a restaurant that makes you cut your own salad after paying $12 for it. RIP off and lazy. Steak was under seasoned. Lobster tails were rubbery. Not a great experience overall.
Select from the menu the Steak, really awesome. Nice ambience, romantic. Absolute winner!
There were 8 in our party for Easter Brunch. We had the requested table and chairs, did not want a booth. The buffet had prime rib and lamb, both roasted perfectly for us, medium rare. Multiple items in the salad bar, all very fresh, a good selection of cheeses and seafood and a very good selection of hot entrees and breakfast items. The dessert table was outstanding according to my family. We thought this was one of the best buffets in Edmonton and we have been to many of them.
The wait staff were attentive and polite on a very busy day.
Went for Easter brunch and the food exceeded my expectations. Nicely presented, a lot of variety, and very well prepared and tasty food, especially the desserts!
3rd time here, food quality and service had definitely degraded. The food seemed to be cooked in advance and be refilled when needed. The person managed the omelette booth seemed not happy the whole time. Our server gave us the bill as soon as we came back with the first plate of food. Very disappointed.
very nice restaurant. great service and even better food
AMAZING FOOD AND AMAZING SERVICE. We will be back!
The baked goods and pastries were amazing. The service was great too.
Have been here multiple times for many different occasions and L2 Grill has been amazing every single time. They are frequently updating and changed their menu so it’s different vwryrime you go.
Food was excellent but portions were a little on the small side. Service was outstanding. Food could have been hotter when it arrived to our table.
I had the stake medium rare, it was medium rare but with a taste of burn. The outside was near black.
My son had lobster mac&cheese, he was disappointed, there was hardly any cheese.
My daughter her chicken was dry and only ok. My wife had the fish and she was happy with it.
I felt it was food at a diner's level.
The staff were friendly and professional, presentation of food on plate was appealing. We enjoyed the meal and quality/quantity was amazing, I had the steak and it was cooked to perfection.
The service is great the food is even better
We had a reservation. They took us in on time. Restaurant was very busy. They served some very terrible coffee and let us know we could eat at the buffet or wait 45 min to get food. So we left the restaurant.
The service was horrible.Servers we’re friendly but service was horrible.Food was ok
Worst evening ever. Food was slow and cold. There is only 1 Valentine's per year and L2 ruined it for me. I have this one day where I try and wow my partner, the rest of the evening was as cold as the food thanks for nothing L2 Grill. It was really bad this year. And we are regulars at the restaurant.
Great food. No problem accommodating a guest with dietary restrictions. A bit pricey.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review L2 Grill! We strive to provide excellent food and service, and we are so glad that you enjoyed your visit to our restaurant. We hope to see you again!
L2 grill was excellent. The service was outstanding and the food was delicious. They did run out of the main meat dish but it was replaced with butter chicken.
Wallace gave us superb service. Very attentive. We found the dinner courses varied . The salmon was quite good. The other members of dinner party enjoyed the beef tenderloin . The Chaga Broth was way to bitter. The green tea cured duck was delicious
