God warm atmosphere nice people from host to servers loved the hot wet towels after dinner beer was good brisket sandwich goo everything satisfactory
Great time with first time customers from New Jersey. They even got the first time appetizer! Hey, guess it wasn't done when I started coming to the Kenilworth years ago!
LWoods stands up to the task of doing it the "Old fashioned way" even if you don't drink one!!
Just love it every time!
The meal was delicious and the staff was very attentive. Will go back again soon
Experience was overall good. Food and service were very good. Noise level was too loud, we were in the front dining room, too many tables too close together.
And prices are a bit high.
Good food and service
Can be a bit noisy
L. Woods is always on point with their food and service. Virtually anything on the menu is going to be flavorful and filling, great portion sizes if you're hungry! My family of 6 dined here and our server was very gracious about my father's incessant dad jokes! Definitely a good spot for a casual date night or family outing. The decor is a bit dark and log cabin-y, but cozy, especially in the wintertime. Make a reservation as they are typically very busy, which is very telling!
I love L’Woods.... but we went this past Saturday and I was so disappointed . I had to send my steak back twice, too pink both times.... the manager ended up comping my steak, but I had my potatoes n veg eaten and was half full by the time my steak was cooked as ordered! :-(
L Woods is very reliable - always good! It’s comfortable and a place I’ve been going to for years as I grew up in the neighborhood
Excellent...we love love LWoods...warm, friendly and the staff are very nice. The food is excellent, we always have a great time, it has become our favorite date nite dinner choice.
L Woods is above average but it used to be way above average. The food is good but not great. The atmosphere, like a Wisconsin supper club, is kind of cute, the service is good, but something is missing from this place. Maybe the concept is tired, I don’t know, but I’m not rushing back.
Fantastic share-able appetizers, amazing beer list, staff is always A+. Portions are very generous, always leave with a baggie.
ALWAYS GREAT FOOD, GREAT SERVICE. NEVER DISAPPOINTED! THE RIBS ARE THE BEST! THEY ARE TERRIFIC FOR CLEVER IMPROMPTU DESERTS FOR SPECIAL OCCASIONS!
Love the cedar planked salmon. Yummy ! Also loved creamed spinach. Nice happy hour but should include wine not just beer.
Great place for a good dinner. Wait staff was very attentive and helpful. Was seated right away.
Great food, great service as usual! Went for a girls afternoon lunch get together. Two of my friends had never been to L. Woods and don't live in the area. Both said they would come back!
Excellent food quality and menu variety--love the look and feel, plus the ambience. Wisconsin Supper Club motif is great. Always good service and comfortable booth seating. Never had a bad meal here or ever been disappointed. Will return for sure. It has become a favorite to let traffic die down, after a cub game. We plan to stop here after every game we attend :)
The food is consistently good. Great ambiance and noise level is fine for talking to your dining partners. Great central location if you are meeting up with suburban and city friends. Easy to get to from the Edens.
Enjoyed the food. My fish was delicious and my husband's burger was very tasty and cooked to his liking. Great service!
Great food, reservation and was seated within 10 minutes, and the service was great.
Salmon was particularly good
We've been dining at L'Woods for years -- back to when it was originally called Bones. The food is always outstanding, consistent. The noise level can be quite high during peak dining times which sometimes makes conversation challenging but it's manageable.
We were disappointed with our visit. Had to wait over 30 minutes even with a reservation. Several people that arrived after us were seated before us. The special entree of the night was sold out. My husband was not impressed with his meal choice. (Brisket burger?)
We went to L Woods last weekend to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We had requested a favorite booth that we always request for our kids’ birthdays and other family dinners at L Woods and were delighted to find that it was reserved for us. The service was, as always, exceptional and the food was very tasty. My husband’s prime rib was done exactly as he wanted and our side dishes arrived with the main course. Everything was cooked appropriately and was delicious. I did not note that we were celebrating a birthday when I made the reservation however our waiter overheard us raising a toast and brought a complimentary birthday dessert. We have been coming here for family birthdays and other occasions for over 20 years and have never been disappointed. This time was no exception. Great service and great food at a fair price. What more could you want?
We always seem to gravitate to L'Woods because of great location, food and service.
Made it for Happy Hr. before Dinner. Great dinner out with friends
Excellent food, really enjoyed the spinach bites, salmon and pounded chicken a la sima. No room for dessert. I recommend the Wisconsin old fashioned!
Our favorite local restaurant for a great filet or the bbq plank salmon, share the chopped salad and don't forget the slab of babybacks and Friday fish 'n chips!
Good, solid American dining, Wisconsin style. Come in between 5 & 7 and get a 7 buck Old Fashioned. Large portions. Reservation recommended.
Always good. Everything on the menu is tempting and the old favorites are consistent quality. One of the few places that still serves Shlitz beer like my grandfather used to enjoy. Eating here always makes me feel like I'm someplace in the North woods WI.
Pretty busy for a weekday lunch but very attentive service, delicious food and a fun time.
I love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes.
Food was great and service couldn't have been better! We try to majestic it here for special occassions when we are in the area.
Easter dinner. Great food and service
The food was very good. I am normally reluctant to order fish in a restaurant because it usually gets overcooked and is dry. The fish, however, was delicious. The only negative is we ordered the key lime pie and it was still frozen so we were not able to eat it there but had to take it home.
Always terrific here, great food, atmosphere and service. The prime rib was great. Coleslaw is the best ever!!! Highly recommended!!
One of my favorites. Solid as always. The best place to meet family members and relax
Lovely - always enjoyable and delicious!
Ordered from the Passover menu; food and service were great as always. A great option for those who can't or don't wish to cook.
Passover meal. Chopped liver and vegetarian -walnut - liver are good. This is a good start, however, other LEYE locations have more flavorful gefilte fish, and better matzoh ball soup.
Fish and brisket here are excellent. Cheesecake - good dessert.
On these holidays it is very noisy. It is ridiculous to expect anything peaceful. It is a great alternative to cooking yourself.
The waiters and waitresses are stressed. We are grateful that there is a celebration at L. Woods.
A few little steps, and it could be even better. Other restaurants could make an effort during
holy days and they do not. At least LEYE does more than many others, and that is to be highly
Great food & Service.
