L. Woods Tap and Pine Lodge
If you're seated before your other family or friends, be sure you watch out for them. Happened twice that reservation staff said I wasn't there yet, had others waiting.
Great meal any day of the week. The french onion soup is better than most French restaurants.
The past three times I have been here I have noticed how good the service is each time. You don't have to search for a server, they all know all the food on the menu, needs are anticipated, and the check is presented all without making you feel rushed. Excellent job.
A great restaurant knowing the food will always be good.
We had a terrific server that evening. Our food was delicious and we were out on time for our meeting.
Thank you LWoods!!!
Our salad arrived missing the croutons, our key lime cheesecake arrived at our table frozen.
We have been coming here since it was the Kenilworth Inn—always enjoyable.
5/12 1pm seated promptly, friendly inviting front staff. Reservations are highly suggested, without 45-60 min wait. Restaurant was jammed. Always good food and service. Our waitress Joy was most attentive, great personality. Enjoyable dining experience.
we always have great food and great service when we go to L. Woods. It is always busy, but that does not slow down the service.
The food as always was excellent! Service not so good, I have never had such a bad waitress as we did Saturday. Will we go back, yes, but will definitely ask for a different waitress if we would get her again!
Thank you for continued great food and service, always being there for our family events
We had a 5pm reservation on a Friday and sat right down. Waitress was very pleasant and efficient. Food was excellent.
Lettuce entertain you restaurants are fabulous but this one is over and under dated. Needs a lot of new things to do. Also very difficult for people to get seated. Front desk isn’t doing their job need a new manager or someone to help out too noisy too rushed and not the type of environment for a local Lincolnwood restaurant.
Server was marvelous, informative and didn’t hurry us (HS friends reminiscing). Received a flatbread on the house for being new customers - delish! Entrees were good size, well cooked and seasoned. Baked Apple Manhattan was also wonderful. It is on the noisy side but we had a booth in an alcove so had no trouble. Regular table may have conversation issues
Pre Mother’s Day dinner.
We love L. Woods. Went for a late lunch on a Sunday so it’s a lot less crowded. Food is always great. Hot when it arrives to the table. Service was excellent.
L Woods was good as always. I had the brisket sandwich, which had a chunk of meat that was not chewable. Also, the fries are fabulous ... hard to stop eating them.
L. Woods has become inconsistent in both service and food. The whitefish did not taste fresh and was poorly cooked. When we questioned the waiter the reply "That is the way it comes". He did not wish to be bothered.
Great service and food as alway.
The ribs and potatoes were great, but the mixed vegetables were absolutely horrible! It’s rare that I have a food complaint here.
This is a sprawling, busy, somewhat noisy, fairly traditional restaurant and it was great. Great food choices. Very good food. Eager to cater to my friend's food allergies. Wonderful service. Easy parking. Good value. I hadn't been to L Woods in years, but I will definitely be back soon.
Love Julie at the bar!
This restaurant has been consistently great for over 40 years. Formerly named Bones; friends and I went there every Friday for over 10 years straight ! It’s that good.
People move things change but L. Woods has stayed great since the doors originally opened. While the only thing constant in life is change; I’m grateful the quality , service and excellent food has not.
Hey, I know Richie Melman so I should get a table without waiting....LOL
Service was great. Food was wonderful. Glad we made the trip.
We were there on a Thursday and the special slow-cooked roast was delicious. It tasted homemade.
Service was excellent.
We are grateful to the manager on duty who made our dining experience extra special by accommodating our request to chill our bottle of Veuve Cliquot Champagne and organize a ice bucket at our table!! Fabulous!! We had a great time thanks to his going above and beyond 🙏🏻
Had the briscuit which was the special. Very good. I would recommend it. It also makes a good sandwich the next day !
Although crowded and noisy on a triple points night, the service was expeditious and the food up to their usual reliable standards
I meet my old school friends here about every two weeks. It is perfect.
The food at LWoods is consistently good. We always start with the chopped salad. There was 3 of and the size of the salad is perfect. I am a fan of the Chicken a la Sima and really enjoyed the roasted vegetables as a side. My hubby had the fried chicken and was extremely impressed with the flavor throughout. The service is outstanding... everyone works well together to keep the dining experience moving smoothly.
Great food, as always, but you need to up your Easter game. Having the turkey dinner that day would have been perfect.
Wonderful Easter dinner with comfortable atmosphere, great food (Ribs, Prime Rib and crusted Walleye were outstanding) and a great server.
What more could you want?
Always a friendly greeting and wonderful food at L. Woods. It's our go to place for a fun time.
Love Sima’s chicken!
Food is always excellent. Service often feels rushed. We had not finished our soup and the main courses were being delivered. I do not appreciate feeling rushed, especially during a special dinner, which this was on Easter Sunday.
The food is always reliably awesome. Excellent service. This is our go to place because it never disappoints.
The food and service are always top notch. Family friendly and comfortable place. Great for special occasions or everyday meals.
