   Really dissapointed. Have had great meals here however this time fell short. The tempura was vastly different than previously. Weird chunky thick batter with shredded veggies. Just awful. Out of numerous sushi items. Asked for “fresh wasabi”. Was brought same paste that comes w sushi but waitress said it “came out of tube” instead of powder mixed with water so it’s fresh. That’s NOT fresh wasabi and any sushi chef should know. If they don’t have no prob. Don’t bring our t regular and call it fresh and charge extra for it. Teriyaki for steaks was thick like honey. Odd. The gyoza, age dashi and sashimi was great.

   The food is always beautifully prepared and delicious. The service is always friendly and responsive. Kyoto is our first choice for sushi.

   second visit in last month and still a very nice experience; food quality is excellent; service is attentive and not hovering and server was very well informed about the dishes; nice atmosphere and not noisy even when full; prices are reasonable; really enjoyed the meal' we'll be back

   I booked this for my birthday & made a note of it on the reservation hoping for a good seat & we were shoved in a tiny spot in the corner. Also showed up for the reservation on time & had to wait at least 20 minutes so that was disappointing.

    first time to a Japanese restaurant in sometime and it did not disappoint! The Service was excellent, the food was excellent - we had 4 orders of different Sushi and the Sushi eaters all very much enjoyed them; I had the Tonkastu - breaded pork cutlet with tempura vegetables, very tasty. Deserts were interesting and tasty; prices very reasonable; first time here but we will be back
