For tasty Korean cuisine, look no further than KyoChon. Its contemporary and colorful decor, lighting and furniture offer a festive, more modern vibe. It is located in the heart of Manhattan near the Morgan Library & Museum, as well as numerous other city hot spots and attractions. Take a break from shopping or sight seeing to step into this trendy establishment.
KyoChons menu has salads, whole chicken entrees and an assortment of Korean-style chicken wings. Start with a broccoli salad or the soy salsal chicken salad to whet your appetite. Then move on to a platter of KyoChon signature wings, such as the soy garlic, hot chili or honey. The party size platter can feed up to four people and is ideal for larger parties. Complement your boneless or bone-in wings with potato wedges or rice for a complete dining experience.
Kyochon isn't fancy, and it isn't hugely comfortable, though they've tried to make it very modern and exceptionally clean. What it does really well, though, is make Korean fried chicken. It's delicious, crispy, and if you ask for it that way, spicy.
excellent chicken wings!!!!
This place skirts the line between fast food and a trendy restaurant, but I love it nonetheless. It's really best with a big group because you can't keep track of how many wings you've eaten (not vegetarian-friendly). Their wings are outstanding, the restaurant itself is vibrant and over-the-top. Try their flavored soju or a beer float if you're feeling particularly whimsical. For me, the whole place is a guilty pleasure, like an edible version of a Korean pop music video.
Came for my birthday two years in a row, eat tons of chicken wings, drink soju. Always a good time with friends! Reservations are always a good idea here if you plan to come in advance :)
