Kyma - Atlanta
Kyma offers fantastic options for semi-private dinner parties, and private luncheons. Kyma is a contemporary Greek seafood tavern like no other. The cuisine is inventive yet approachable that is true to its Mediterranean origin. Kyma is dramatic, with a dazzling display of constellations on the deep blue ceiling, white marble columns and a bold fresh fish display. The welcoming patio, with its plush furniture and white linen curtains, offers the ideal setting to savor a glass of Greek wine and Kyma’s array of appetizers. Fresh, healthful food, attentive Greek hospitality and festive atmosphere await at Kyma.View Private Dining Details
Outstanding reataurant and an excellwnt place for a romantic evening
Special occasion meal made more special by all the personal touches. We will remember this evening g for a long time.
Excellent as all ways. Everyone enjoyed all of their selections
We had a great meal - the food was outstanding!!!!!
Nice dining experience. Only negative was that our waitress wasn't attentive enough throughout the meal. She seemed to have other tables to serve which were far away from ours so she wasn't around much.
We had a fabulous dinner. In the last year Kyma has added the salt crusted sea bass for 2. This is a dish we love and don't often see at restaurants here. We have a wonderful comfort level at Kyma and love coming here for great seafood,
It was my fault for not mentioning the need for low salt, so I found the fish to be over salted. We shared a lot of mezzes and found them to be delicious. Our service was really good. One of the few restaurants where we could hear ourselves without overwhelming noise element.
If you want the highest quality Greek food available - this is your place. Impeccable service and food. Always consistent. Let your waiter guide you on the menu choices after you give them some idea of what you like and don't like. Be open to suggestions as their recommendations might surprise you. Never disappointed with anything we ate and we have tried several of the tapas plates. We usually get 3 or 4 of them and enjoy the different tastes for a culinary tour of Greece.
I love the overall experience of eating at kyma its very relaxing and quit. Me and my girlfriend go there on sundays for special occasions. The have a grate deal for sunday night dinner. Everyone should try it out atleast ones
The only speed bump, was a badly totaled Bill. My Friend and I split 50/50. We had the $25 Dine around Card. We couldn't find it deducted on the bill. Finally the manager was called, and explained that it was deducted from FOOD items only, such that it totaled $25. Wine is not eligible. A small amount from each food item to equal $25. Computer program should be written to total all food, then deduct $25, then add that total to non-eligible items. Being Sunday, we did enjoy half-price bottle of wine day. Great Food as usual.
We enjoy sharing multiple appetizers for the variety. Sid, just in from Nashville, was getting the restaurant routine mastered and served us well.
Kyma is consistently very good and our favorite of the Buckhead Life Group. The fish is always perfectly cooked (although pricey). We love the grilled octopus, shredded filo cheese and martini's with stuffed blue cheese olives! Sunday night half price wines was a nice surprise! Only wish they would add a few new Meze's on the menu.
Any of the fish are incredible. The de-bone it at your table side. Wonderful food
Great food and service
we always enjoy our visits to Kyma, alway enjoy the octopus....
We’d been meaning to try Kyma for a while and we’re very impressed by the food quality and kindness of the people we interacted with there. Great fish, drinks, and the very best dolmades in the city. Thank you for a wonderful evening!
Olivia, our server, was wonderful. She explained the menu, the Greek fish and other Greek dishes, and was most attentive to our needs. Olivia is the BESt!
Delicious! We do wish Kyma offered better bread and served with softened butter.
As always, the food was yummy and the service was attentive. The spicy lamb pie is one of my favorite restaurant dishes in all of Atlanta!!
Elegant restaurant for Greek food served by friendly wait staff. Meals that we chosen were consistently delicious. Deserts are spectacular
Awesome food , great customer service...
Overpriced for the quality.
While the food was good, the portions were small, the prices were much higher than indicated on open table <$30 and we couldn’t always find our waiter/get his attention when needed. Not a place I would rush back to or recommend.
Dinner and the service was amazing! You should make it a priority to eat here!
Absolutely amazing food - from the mezes to the entrees to the cocktails and wine, everything was delicious. My stepfather, who is half Greek, said it was some of best food he's had. Will definitely be going back!
As a long time returning guest I find that the food selection has significantly decreased; the size of the portions has significantly decreased; the prices have not decreased. On the contrary.
Fish and sea food is the reason I come. It is still absolutely delicious. However, the value for dollar paid makes it less likely that I will make the trip.
I have dined at Kyma on several occasions and usually don't ever have a problem with service. Last night, service was mediocre, if that. We had to ask for drink refills, the table was left with dirty plates until we asked for them to be removed and not once did the server come to the table to ask how everything was or if we needed anything. The restaurant was busy but nothing out of the ordinary. Not sure if I'll be back.
This is one of the best restaurants in Atlanta! The food is consistently outstanding.
We decided to get the Mediterranean Tasting menu this time so that we could try a variety of meze appetizers, which was a great deal. We tried lobster morsels, scallops, grilled octopus, and ahi tuna tartare, all a fish lover's dream! We enjoyed a 1/2 off bottle of wine that our wait person recommended. For our whole fish, we picked the arctic char cooked lightly to perfection. After so much food, including the initial tasting of four spreads with pita bread, we took home most of our meal and enjoyed it again for lunch the following day.
Love Kyma! Everything we ordered was delicious! I only wished I had more room in my tummy to order more food. I would go back in a heartbeat. I feel like this restaurant is a hidden gem!
I had the best meal I have ever had there on Thursday. It was the daily fresh catch from Greece - whole fish. Cooked perfectly and deboned without a hitch. Boys had char and it was good too. From now on nothing but a whole fish meal for me. I'll miss my lamb chops though. :(
Kim was our waitress. Helped us with choices. Had grilled octopus appetizer, which was delicious. Also had lamb pie appetizer, also delicious. Had halibut for entree which was very light and flaky. Overall excellent evening
We have been to Kyma many times. The food is consistently good, but the upholstery needs a renovation on the cushions. There were many cracks in the “leather.” My lamb chops, while tasty, were very fatty. I told the waiter who said he would inform the chef. No one ever came over to our table to talk to us about it.
This was by far one of the best meals in a very long time. The textures and flavors were interesting at every level. We sat in the Octopus Bar so we could experience the flavors of many small plates and we had about 6. Every one of them were outstanding. The bartender, Claire,, was warm, friendly, hard working and informative. We give her a five rating. She worked the entire bar, small plates and outdoor seating like a master. Thank you for a perfect meal and experience!
Always great service and always a great meal .
This place has fantastic service and delicious food! It's #1 in our minds.
We are from California and have eaten at the best restaurants. This place is rated on top of the list!
Kyma has gone downhill. The fish was excellent, but nothing else was. The eggplant spread was too vinegary, the eggplant stew too salty and the kale too lemony. Way overpriced! $5 for a few slices of toasted pita! Server disappeared after he told us specials and we had to ask another server to find him! We were 3 couples, and he said he would give us the bill for what each couple ate, but then he tagged the wine and shared dishes on one single bill, so that couple paid way too much. He was friendly and knowledgeable, but I would rate the service poor. We will not return soon!
I take many of my guests from out of town to this restaurant. It never fails to impress!
I frequent Kyma often. Never disappointed. Great food. Great service. I suggest if you have not experienced Kyma make a reservation now. 👍👏
Great way to celebrate a birthday with a special menu and a free signed cookbook.
