This was an exceptional evening for me and my friends. They live in Atlanta and had never eaten at Kyma. They were absolutely impressed. It was a perfect evening for all of us. Thank you.
This was a great dining experience.
Dinner last night at Kyma was Aahhmazing!!!
the seafood was fresh & DELICIOUS, the service was wonderful, lots of nice touches that added to the experience....
I'm not sure how I wasnt here b4, but i will definitely be back...
Excellent as always, one of our favorite restaurants.
St Pat's at a Greek restaurant was random but awesome. Had the entire porch to ourselves. Good was amazing as usual.
Great Fish (Lavraki) and Excellent Lamb-chops, everything was great
I was disappointed in my meal. I ordered the special with large prawns. Two of the four prawns were over-cooked. The flavor of the dish was good and the restaurant is so pretty, that I overlooked the mediocre dish. Many of the items on the menu are very expensive, and I always find choosing my meal difficult.
Fish entree was superb, as were the prawns that one of our guests ordered, as was everything else. Wasn't familiar with Greek wines but selected a red that proved to be superb. Our server Olivia, who was outstanding throughout our dinner, displayed a good knowledge of the wine offerings and had pointed us in the right direction. The chief wine steward even visited our table and provided us with lively conversation and great information about his trips to Greece where he procures what's on Kyma's wine list, which is a pretty extensive one. An absolutely satisfying evening. We look forward to returning.
Been to Kyma many times and usually and great place for food and service. This past weekend had dinner for two and as usual had great service. We were seated quickly, received our wine and appetizers without much fuss and our waitress was wonderful. The dinner took a turn for the worst with the main course. I had the lamb and it was fabulous but the other meal was fish and it still had many, many bones in the fish and my date got fish bones stuck in her throat. Certainly made for a less than great dining experience and date.
The manager seemed sincere that this would be a one time thing so hopefully this less than positive review is not the norm for the future.
It was a great overall experience
Our visit to Kyma was fantastic! The service couldn’t have been better. We ordered the tasting Dinner. We selected spanikopita, dolmades, lobster morsels with pasta and we were dying for their lamb chops and ordered 2.we selected a light flaky fish which was delicious! Baklava for dessert with cinnamon ice cream & coffee!! Best meal we’ve had in a very long time. My compliments to chef Pano!!
Our server Josh was friendly and provided excellent service. Food was good. Fish was fresh and cooked perfectly. Early Saturday night dinner crowd alittle pretentious but it got better as evening progressed.
If you live Greek islands and it’s exotic food it’s a must visit restaurant!!
Excellent food and service. Very attentive without making us feel rushed. We did the tasting menu and it was absolutely delicious. It was really fun to be able to choose from a vast array of options and be able to try so many unique dishes. Great wine, great food, great service!
Excellent service and food. Highly recommend the octopus. Waitress was very helpful navigating the wine list.
Food was just ok. Service was good.
If you are looking for a great seafood experience you need to go no further than Kyma. The grilled octopus is the best in town and the Dover sole is always great. They had one of our favorite dishes that we get in Europe, the salt crusted whole fish. It was amazing. The menu is varied and everyone can have a great meal here.
Kyma has been our favorite place to dine for many years. We often make a complete meal from many of the small plates as there so many items to choose. If you want to splend a little, they have some of the best fish dishes in town. Lamb chops and octopus salad are special. save room for desserts.
Food was below average. Server was good. Octopus was chewy and cold. Cheese was very greasy Chicken was well over cooked Very disappointing and expensive Won’t go back
Pricey but Delicious!
Friendly, attentive service. Excellent food, particularly freshly prepared whole fish. A Buckhead classic.
Kyma is a favorite special occasion restaurant for us, and Friday did not disappoint!
Had the grilled octopus appetizer and it was wonderful. Great seafood and great service.
Amazing Food! Great outdoor patio for drinks with friends. Wonderful experience all around.
Best octopus on the planet.
Attentive service and good recommendations from the staff.
Dinner was great with great service. Only issue we had was that we all left feeling hungry. Portions were small especially for the pricing.
Otherwise, we enjoyed our evening.
Unpleasant, borderline rude valet, host the same. Not a pleasant greeting to start the evening. Service clumsy and inattentive. We had to ask for bread and to get water refills.
Excellent restaurant. We’ll be back. Outstanding food and experience!
I think Kyma is the best place in Atlanta to get fesh fish. They cook it to perfection every time.
Very good high-end Greek food! The only thing I hate about the place is their bathrooms. It never seems clean or working properly.
Amazing food. I highly recommend the grilled octopus and scallops with foie gras. We will definitely return.
I've been to Kyma many, many times. The food and service are "Always" very good. However this visit out server, who was very friendly, made a very big mistake on our order. We ordered a 2 lb lavraki (fish) which was $70; we asked for the" whole fish" and we asked her to have the kitchen "grill it crispy", then we said extra crispy. We mentioned cripsy about 4 to 5 times!
Well, she had them fillet it - it was very moist - no skin - Not crispy at all! It was very moist and tasty if that's what we had what wanted. We would have Never ordered that - a $70 piece of fish cooked like that. We have ordered that same way there before, and at other restaurants, and no has ever brought us a piece of filleted fish.
We brought a delicious, expensive bottle of French wine from home, and I feel like the wine was wasted on that meal. They offered to cook us another one. My girlfriend was tired and didn't want to wait another 25 minutes. But we should have waited and had them recook it the way we wanted it. I barely ate anything.
Normally I would give Kyma 4 to 5 stars on everything. Because of my history at Kyma I was very generous this time with the stars. To me this time was a very disappointing dining experience.
Uncomfortable chairs. Arctic Char tasted fishy and was swimming in way too much olive oil. Portions were very small for the "Shared" Mkt fish and sides.
Everything great, as always.
The waitress had the detail of our last visit and suggest us the same sparkling wine that we did order las time. That detail was outstanding.
The only item to improve is that they brought us oysters without lemon and without a special fork to work on them ( usually the fork of oyster is smaller than the regular ones)
But that was just a detail, the experience was great!!!!
Came here for a late valentines date and it was fantastic. We were greeted right away by the host and sat down pretty quickly. Our servers were wonderful and were able to answers our questions quickly and efficiently. I've never had Greek food before so this was a wonderful experience. We chose the option where we got 4 appetizers, 4 different dips, and a fish to share all for only $52 each (although we got charged $58). No big deal, I was willing to pay a little more because of how excellent everything was. We had also order 3 bottles of wine mainly because they had a half off all wine bottle that night. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
must try Whole Fish with Dirty Greek Martini!!!!!they are sooo good!
Grilled octopus was superb..... grilled Lavakia fish had absolutely no flavor.... wasn’t worth the $60.....lamb pie was good. Waitress Olivia was awesome and always close by
The only hiccup I encountered was being seated 15-20 past our 915 pm reservation time, which is more of an indictment on the restaurants success, other than that the food, service and ambiance was impeccably outstanding!
It was my first time dining there and I’ll definitely be back!
We have eaten at all of the Buckhead life group now and this will be the only time we eat at Kyma. I feel the food is over priced and the service was subpar.
Kyma is an exceptional restaurant dining experience. Everything is top notch, from the fresh seafood to the service and food. Every restaurant should be as good at one thing as Kyma and then work their way out from there. Far too often that's not the case.
Had the Halibut special for entree with tasting spreads for an appitizer. Dessert was strawberry shortcake with whip creme. All very good with prompt service.
