Kuro- Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood FL
Regular customer. Simply Beautiful restaurant. So many amazing decorative details. Soak it in. It really is exquisite.
Sea bass is consistently one of the very best fish dishes I have ever eaten. Shrimp Robato (might not be spelled right) is delish.
And don’t miss the crispy tuna rice and the Brussels sprouts— two really excellent signature dishes at Kuro.
always great! food was spot on as usual, service is attentive but not pushy.
Exceptional in every aspects of a dinning experience. Food is memorable, unique and is of the highest quality.
3 times we have been at Kuro. Don't believe it will ever disappoint. Will certainly be back
We did an open menu and had our server just pick items for us to share and it was all amazing. I would even have them recommend cocktails. Saketinis were great and they have an amazing infused bourbon drink a well
Food was delicious, they sat us in the dining room right next to the kitchen which I didn’t care for.
Hostesses not very friendly. Drink menu poor. Small plates and high prices.
This place is amazing. At first I was hesitant to try because of its location in a casino, but it’s nicely tucked away from any commotion of the casino and there is no cigarette smell inside the restaurant like I have experienced at other restaurants near/in a casino. So if that was stopping you don’t let it, make sure you check Kuro out.
The food was delicious and for an upscale/premier restaurant it was excellently priced. The menu is just the right size with enough variety to satisfy all palettes. Our server Dana, who was attentive and thorough at explaining everything, recommended the tuna crispy rice and it was great. We also ordered the toro tartar which they serve smoked with fresh vegetables to use to scoop the tartar (unlike most places that use a chip or crispy rice to scoop) and this was a refreshing take on a dish that all upscale sushi spots have. The A5 Wagyu on a hot stone should not be left out if you want to take your meal to the next level (this was another dish that is upscale and pricey but compared to competitors prices it is worth it). After that came the sushi. The tuna avocado roll, chu toro and otoro, hamachi, and kanpachi. All the fish fresh and immaculately prepared.
Overall, I will definitely be coming back to Kuro. The service was outstanding (thank you Dana). The food is creative and delicious accompanied by the relaxing vibe of the lighting and decoration, do not miss out!
Appetizers were outstanding. The crispy rice was out of this world, as was the seared salmon. Flavors unique. Also loved the scallop sashimi. The rolls were very good but not extraordinary. Very fresh and well done, though. Kuro is for special occasions and we were there for a concert at the Hard Rock. Next time I'm going to try the mushroom salad. Alot was served to other tables. Yum!
Everything pricey, but delicious!
Try the wegu beef. Amazing! Stephanie was an incredible server.
For my 44th birthday I figured we would stay in the neighborhood but definitely take it up a notch or two so we decided on Kuro which we had dined at before. Under one condition...that their bartender Jandre was working and we could eat at the bar.
He makes the best margaritas has extensive knowledge of the menu and when we really enjoyed ourselves at his bar. We ordered several appetizers and rolls most of them were very good couple of pieces not so great but overall was very pleasant.
The service and good were excellent.
Excellent food consistently, Sea Bass is delicious, as is the crispy rice with tuna. Our favorite restaurant!
I feel the portions were a little too small. You you’re forced to order several small plates even if it’s just for two. The sever was nice but literally said “I recommend” like 10 times. He never asked what we were interested in or in the mood for or anything. It was simply him telling us what we should order per his choice. Even when I tried to order something, he told me he doesn’t recommend that. Which made my boyfriend a little annoyed because he felt like he isn’t the one on this date lol I know he didn’t mean harm but he should work on that. He was personable at all, just full of his own recommendations without even ask what we may want or what might have caught our eye. I’m mean he said it over and over.
The food was superb! Small bites and delicious.
Always a pleasure dining at Kuro. Our waiter, Austin was exceptional and as always the food beautifully presented and full of great flavors.
Incredible.. noise was a little loud. Made it hard to communicate.. but still incredible.
Best restaurant I have ever eaten at, just amazing
Kuro lived up to being a very special experience for us as we celebrated a late Valentine's Day. Comparing it to other dining choices in the Seminole, it was quite nice to have easy availability to booth seating, a grand view of the hotel pool area, and to be able to take in the full atmosphere. The restaurant was running on all cylinders, but we felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. I'm not sure how Kuro achieved it, but we were undisturbed by any restaurant chatter, and the lighting served to create a very romantic atmosphere. Food presentation is top notch, wait staff is very attentive and informative about how their dishes are developed, and there is never a feeling of being rushed, but rather a great feeling of being wined and dined in a superior way.
Wanna blow a review ..completely disappear come check time ....no where in-site..after pleading with passing waiters main waiter re-appears and we get the ...”so sorry ..here’s your bill” ..takes the Credit Card and disappears again
1/2 full restaurant ..plenty of waiters passing ..just not ours
Maybe my 10th time coming and everything was on point. We decided to sit at the sushi bar this time to mix it up. Pretty neat to see the kitchen and all that's going on. Walter was a great waiter. Ask for the icecream flavors when you go ( they change often ) but had 3 really unique but great flavors this past time. Maceado? ..was sweet with a hint of hot after taste, pistacio coconut and sesame something that tasted like peanut butter. Was awesome.
The service at Kuro was family style with all dishes described perfectly by the server. The quality of the fish was incredible. Sushi that my husband would never eat he ordered a second helping of. The california roll was made with real crab and the soft shell crab roll actually had more crab than shell. Our only regret was that we didn't save room for dessert!
Very good tasting food but the servings are too little for the price
Make sure you are seated in the main room and not the side room
Valentines Day Dinner & Show.
Great food & service!
Great service, nice atmosphere a little noisy but not bad considering the crowd. Sea bass outstanding as well as sushi and deserts. Great meal.
Tonight was a frustrating experience. Weak cocktails, missing orders and BOTH my starter and entree arrived well after everyone had finished their entrees. Food was delicious as always but not an enjoyable evening. It was also extremely loud. What used to be our favorite restaurant has sunk down on the list.
Excellent food, excellent service, would highly recommend
Great service, great food, awesome environment. Vegas style dining in the middle of Broward county. Not bad.
i have dined here 4 different times prior this visit. The only disappointment was the service. Previously I ask the waitress or waiter to order for me and I got excellent choices from totally satisfied. this time was not the case ,totally ignored what we wanted. I left there total unsatisfied.
Great as usual.
Friendly knowledgeable staff
If you like Japanese Food, this is one of the best. Both hot dishes and sushi and sashimi are great. Tremendous variety.
It was amazing. All of the food we ordered was an instant party on my tongue. Our waiter was great too. It is such a shame that we didn't remember his name because my husband wants to be served by him the next time we go back. Best birthday dinner experience ever!
We were very disappointed with Kuro. This is a classic case of a restaurant that’s only in business due to its location. The waitress was very unfriendly and had a bit of a haughty attitude. She never returned to inquire how our food was. The drinks took forever to arrive even though the restaurant wasn’t busy enough to warrant this. The sushi was mediocre and insanely overpriced.
The ambiance was nice, but my friends and I would never return here. If you’re catching a show at the Hardrock, you certainly have limited dining options, but do your best to to chose anywhere else.
Nice buzzy restaurant, good food with quick service. Brussels sprouts were delightful. Quality of everything is exceptional.
Sushi was great but cuts were small
Waiter was distracted and didn’t have patience
Phony Asian dishes, mostly inedible. Tempura dish served with an obviously watered-down dipping sauce, and no other sauces at all. Male servers stood around in small groups talking and laughing to each other and doing absolutely nothing. A ridiculous, giggling girl-server who could not speak a word of English, or any other recognizable language, Asian or otherwise. Raucus music, obviously chosen for the benefit of those who work there, and NOT hard rock or any other kind of rock. For God's sake, close this awful place down!
food and drink excellent, pre-show dinner. small portions but taste and presentation great
Great service, food fantastic, variety of foods was great
