Kuro- Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood FL
Always excellence when we go
Food was excellent, Service was very good, portions were way to small, prices were too high for portion size!
Very small portions not the same as my last visit at all. Very disappointed
Amazing food. Love the service. Great ambiance. Can’t get enough of this place.
Food was very good. Sushi very fresh. Service needs to improve for those prices. Music too loud for that kind of dining,
Food is amazing melts in your mouth definately would go back and would recommend to everyone
It was amazing. Small portions but food was delicious! We had the oysters, sea bass, pork belly and rolls!! Can’t wait to go back
Was very noisy. When ever any one was walk to there table the did this greeting that was loud and annoying
Server was pre-occupied. It was my gf's birthday and I attempted to arrange a cake for her while she was in the bathroom. Except the server came and put plates out for use before the cake came. My gf says to the server, why are we getting plates we didn't order any dessert and the server just laughed and my gf then said I know you ordered a cake, no surprise obviously.
Despite the ongoing renovations at the Hard Rock, Kuro seems to be in its original location. The room is very nice, but not quite as spectacular as we had expected having heard so much about it. The food was certainly the main draw - especially the steaks. We were a party of two non-sushi fans, so we shared the tenderloin and the ribeye. Both were perfectly prepared, and bursting with flavor due to the sauces/preparations. My dining partner is a steak purist, so for him it was almost "too many" flavors, but I really enjoyed both. The smaller dishes were excellent as well, particularly the sort of Asian/Mexican fusion corn. For dessert we shared the Japanese doughnuts - the doughnuts are regular beignets in my opinion, but the dipping sauces gave them a Japanese touch.
Cocktails were excellent and inventive.
Service was perfect - the server was super attentive, friendly, and gave great suggestions, and the other servers filled water glasses, removed plates, etc. very quickly.
Overall a very nice experience for high-end Japanese food (even for non-sushi eaters!).
Great as always!!! Love Kuro! Great service, food and atmosphere!!
The food was excellent, service was good staff very friendly
It was ok, a bit overpriced however cocktails were great. Food came out nearly 45 minutes after appetizers.
Moms and Sisters bday wish there was more food for all the orders we placed other than that everything da bomb beautiful your servers were top notch
Try the snapper it’s amazong
We dine at KURO all year long. It is one of our favorite restaurants. The crispy rice with tuna is delicious, Heirloom salad is outstanding! Love the lobster as well.
The service, quality of food and ambiance is consistently lovely!
Food and service were both amazing. The best things we had were the tacos, shrimp, ribeye and mushroom salad Everything else was delicious as well but those really were amazing The service was great. Hard to find a restaurant in south Florida with service so good. Great place. Not cheap but very good
Amazing as always! Please never change!!!! Food is high quality and absolutely delicious! This is mine and my husbands favorite restaurant
It was very noisy with loud music playing that made having a conversation with my date impossible. The food was good but nothing special for the high prices.
We were seated promptly and without issue were able to change to a table that we preferred. The waitress recommended a nice and reasonably priced bottle of sake. We ordered a ridiculous amount of food and everything was outstanding. The crispy Brussels sprouts were delicious and all the fish was fresh. The Kobe beef was also to die for! All in all, I would recommend it. Note- The price point is quite high. Our tab was almost $900 for four people, with only 3 alcoholic beverages. While we did order quite a bit of food, it was a tad pricey!
All around good menu and delicious food. Good atmosphere
It was an unforgettable night at Kuro’s. I surprised my husband with a pregnancy announcement box and they all helped me to hide the box and make it significant for us. We will never forget. They also surprised us with a plate of sweets as a compliment for the big news. Thank you so much to all the Kuro’s staff.
Thank you so much!
This and Zuma by far best two sushi restaurants in South Florida.
Had the chargrilled ribeye. Excellent. Shrimp and kind crab tempura was excellent. Also had a mako roll but they were pretty small. Service was exceptional
Food was amazing, on the pricey side. Definitely worth trying for the unique dishes and great desserts. Be prepared for loud music.
Excellent Service. They have the best drinks and the food is delicious and original.
Food and service was great
Excellent experience! Great service from Angela at the Bar and Walter at the Table. Food was solid and well presented.
Excellent food and service. Just wish we didn’t smell the smoke as much
This place is amazing! Don't pass up an opportunity to go! We allowed our server to select the menu and the food was only delicious but a lot of fun. A must!
Regular customer. Simply Beautiful restaurant. So many amazing decorative details. Soak it in. It really is exquisite.
Sea bass is consistently one of the very best fish dishes I have ever eaten. Shrimp Robato (might not be spelled right) is delish.
And don’t miss the crispy tuna rice and the Brussels sprouts— two really excellent signature dishes at Kuro.
always great! food was spot on as usual, service is attentive but not pushy.
Exceptional in every aspects of a dinning experience. Food is memorable, unique and is of the highest quality.
3 times we have been at Kuro. Don't believe it will ever disappoint. Will certainly be back
We did an open menu and had our server just pick items for us to share and it was all amazing. I would even have them recommend cocktails. Saketinis were great and they have an amazing infused bourbon drink a well
Food was delicious, they sat us in the dining room right next to the kitchen which I didn’t care for.
Hostesses not very friendly. Drink menu poor. Small plates and high prices.
This place is amazing. At first I was hesitant to try because of its location in a casino, but it’s nicely tucked away from any commotion of the casino and there is no cigarette smell inside the restaurant like I have experienced at other restaurants near/in a casino. So if that was stopping you don’t let it, make sure you check Kuro out.
The food was delicious and for an upscale/premier restaurant it was excellently priced. The menu is just the right size with enough variety to satisfy all palettes. Our server Dana, who was attentive and thorough at explaining everything, recommended the tuna crispy rice and it was great. We also ordered the toro tartar which they serve smoked with fresh vegetables to use to scoop the tartar (unlike most places that use a chip or crispy rice to scoop) and this was a refreshing take on a dish that all upscale sushi spots have. The A5 Wagyu on a hot stone should not be left out if you want to take your meal to the next level (this was another dish that is upscale and pricey but compared to competitors prices it is worth it). After that came the sushi. The tuna avocado roll, chu toro and otoro, hamachi, and kanpachi. All the fish fresh and immaculately prepared.
Overall, I will definitely be coming back to Kuro. The service was outstanding (thank you Dana). The food is creative and delicious accompanied by the relaxing vibe of the lighting and decoration, do not miss out!
