Food was disappointing. Service was amazing! Kitchen looked filthy.
Quiet space, food is really tasty and they bring you the real taste of hummus, tabule and also differents meats. We’ll respeat.
Very slow service and the filet kebab was over cooked
Food was good but portion sizes were very small for the price. We were there for over 25 minutes and no server came to our table. I had to get up and go find a server.
Waiter was great. Manager seemed to have issues with him and ended our experience unprofessionally.
Convenient, but will not return to this restaurant
Very nice waitress and manager. Will come again. The ambiance is nice for after work or dinner date. Nice and cozy. The food is great of you love ethnic food. Yummy!
We had dinner on the patio outside on the side walk. Very pleasant. Good food and a nice sangria that night!
Table was a little small for the 4 of us --it was the only table available on the patio when we came. We could have easily sat inside. That was our choice.
I will start by being positive. The baba ganoush appetizer was very good. The outdoor tables are lovely and the server was pleasant. However, I'm sorry to say that my dinner was quite disappointing. I ordered lamb shwarma. The pieces of lamb were sliced very small, were not very flavorful, and the meat and accompanying rice were cold. Others at the table felt somewhat better about their meal. However, the soup ordered by my husband was not brought to him. I hope Kurah can do better than this under the recently-changed ownership.
This was my second time here and I brought friends from out of town. The server was continually confused about us and our order. Food was dropped off the plate. The calamari was Luke warm at best.
The rose infused flan was hideous. I will reluctantly give it another try.
The management did give us credit on the bill for things that were not right...but we had to ask twice.
It was a lovely experience with great food and enjoyable ambiance
The food was good. The ambience was pleasant. The service was OK.
Great service. Great food. Mimosas.
The food is tasty and there is a great selection but the portions are a little small for me. I ordered the stuffed eggplant and I was still hungry.
Kurah is a neighborhood gem with authentic food that is healthy, fresh, and delicious. The full bar. wine list and friendly service makes for an enjoyable evening!
It's a nice neighborhood jewel! I enjoyed it and I would go back.
Lamb kebab meat was tough, fatty and over salted. Disappointing entree. Saffron rice and Jerusalem salad were great.
The service was very slow. I think we had a new staff person, but I also think that perhaps there were not enough staff to handle the outside area at lunch. The staff gave us the dinner menu, realized the error, and then took another 5 minutes to get us the correct menu.
The food was decent, but certainly not good enough at that price point. No attention to detail: vegetables were cut way too large to be able to eat, my salmon, which I requested medium rare, was overcooked.
Kurah was incredible! The GM was very personable and checked on us to ensure our food/experience was top notch. Their briyani and lamb kabob were delicious. Definitely eating here again!
Location was great, easy to find parking, and we were seated right away since we had a reservation. It was very stuffy inside as A/C did not appear to be working very well. Food was served on a plate that was too small so eating and cutting was a challenge. Presentation was average and portion was small. Overall we don’t plan a second visit.
Stay away from the steak omelette! It was overcooked, fatty and the potatoes that come with it are bland and looked overcooked and not appetizing (the presentation was pretty bad. I left most of my food and do not see myself returning.
We used to come here a lot but it has really gone down hill.. hummus was runny liquid, appetizers took 25 minutes, lamb was fatty and sauce too sweet. We ordered a glass of wine and received a 3oz pour for $11. Salad I normally get was different and dry. Not once did our waiter come by to see how things were, ask how we were doing. After staring at our half eaten meals for long enough (plates never removed or serviced ), we had to flag him down to get our check. Bummer, this used to be one of our favorite local places but seems like they are making changes for the worse.
We love Kurah. I’ve eaten here for dinner and lunch. The food is always great and it’s a neighborhood gem!
This most recent dining experience wasn’t quite at the level it usually is but only due to our server. She didn’t know what beer they had on tap which is strange.
Her excuse was that “the bartender would know more than me.” Well, why not take the opportunity to learn it? was my thought. Go ask the bartender what beer is on tap and write it down so you’ve got the list!
Our friend had to walk over from our table to the bar to do the research himself. Not a huge deal, but weird nonetheless.
Otherwise our food and drinks were great.
Falafel was overdone, almost couldn't cut it with a knife! Vegetables were tasteless. Wasn't asked if we wanted another drink and took a long time to get dessert.
Stuffed grapes combo! Awesome! Starters mezze platter also good! Worth a visit!
We got moved to a seat upstairs - which offered a nice ambiance! Perfect setting for Father’s Day!
Better than we expected. Food and ambience
Went here for Fathers Day brunch, and service was awful, even though, surprisingly, they were not busy that day. Ordered an unsweetened iced tea that was practically just water, then our order only came out about 40 min after we ordered and was partially cold, only when someone at the table asked where our food was. Had high hopes but wouldn’t go here again.
We appreciated the flexibility and graciousness the management and staff showed when three of the nine persons we have reserved for met with problems and could not make it to the dinner.
Food was excellent, the lamb burger especially. The waitstaff was very attentive. Overall great place to eat.
Wonderful place to meet for dinner.
Hospitable service with very good Mediterranean fare. Nice for a date. Great service from Malik and Jenny.
Good food overall. The grilled vegetables were a little charred, making them inedible.
Lovely spot with delicious food
Spectacular, as usual. Food, service and ambiance were all outstanding!
Took 35 minutes for appetizer to arrive. Felt like they forgot about us. Food was good. Super cute place. Enjoyed our seats.
Nice dining experience. The place was a little crowded for a Saturday but the service and wait times were fine. I lived the atmosphere. Food was delicious and portions were adequate. Glad I discovered this place.
The lamb shank was sweet & succulent.
Very accommodating staff. Environment is cozy and relaxing. Good place for intimate conversations or catching up with friends. The food was superb! We had gone in before the lunch menu was available but we were willing to wait- the staff helped us and we actually got our food mighty quick since they agreed to take the order before lunch hour (1100 onwards). The Baklava I had for dessert was excellent- not overpoweringly sweet, and very crunchy! Prices are great for the quality of food you’re getting. Staff was knowledgeable about their menu. Pita bread is made fresh and comes to your table nice and warm. Will definitely go back!
Love this place. I’ve gone four times with different small groups and it’s always a hit. Love the food. Lots to try on the menu...the lamb burger, lamb shank, kabob dinners, falafel, and hummus are great!
