My wife and I loved our meal at Kumi. The food was terrific including REAL seaweed. This combined with the service, ambiance, very reasonable prices made it the best meal of our weekend stay in Las Vegas. A place we would definitely go back to and highly recommend.

Prime tasting menu is an excellent value. Service was attentive but a bit inconsistent. Very good quality sushi. Not best of the wharf fare but good. Sea bass wrapped in seaweed served steaming on a hot platter was a highlight and the ribeye was also excellent!

Upon our arrival at our scheduled reservation time, we were quickly led to our table. The food quality and presentation of each plate was top notch. Our server was very informative and attentive. The staff were excellent from beginning to end. I will return and recommend Kumi to others seeking fresh and flavorful Japanese food.

Took my mom for Mother's Day before going to the Michael Jackson One show. The hostess was very accommodating as my mom is in a wheelchair. The ambiance was great. My waiter was very attentive and professional. The other staff was very nice as well. The food was amazing. That peach bliss drink was one of the best drinks I have ever had. The katsu chicken and the sauces that came with it were great. My mom had the NY strip steak with the side of fried rice & bok choy, and she loved it. She said it was very flavorful and cooked just right. We will definitely be returning.

Had an 8pm reservation, showed up early at 7:20. Manager informed me the restaurant is running on time and to go have a drink and come back in 40min. I went to the bar down the hall grabbed a drink and noticed that at 7:23 the restaurant sent me a text message letting me know my table is ready. I then took my drink to go, walked back to the restaurant and let them know I received a text message that my table is ready, at this point they asked me to finish my drink before I entered the restaurant. I explained to the manager they asked me to come back in 40min but minutes later I received a message letting me know my table was ready and could they accommodate me bringing my drink into the restaurant seeing as they suggested for me to “go have a drink”. The response was “I will need you to finish your drink prior to entering”. It seems the manager has zero recollection of the series of events and took no responsibility or accountability. I was then treated with poor service from the waiter until I said to the waiter “do we have an issue that needs to be addressed?” …he replied “NO” …following this I received much better service. This restaurant operates with no regard for customer service. If you plan on trying this restaurant be prepared for a poor experience

Premier Chef’s Tasting menu was incredibly underwhelming. The sushi was the highlight of the meal. The gyoza and brussel sprouts were good. The tuna “pizza” was bland and lacked flavor. The ribeye was mediocre at best. Potato salad is the oddest choice to pair with a steak and does not shout elegance. The cauliflower was cold and bland. The salmon was cooked to perfection, but the bok choy was inedible. The dessert was frozen solid and straight from a my mochi box. Incredibly disappointing experience. What a shame.

Great service, okay atmosphere. Fantastic cocktails (I had old-fashioned, wife had a spicy margarita). We had the spicy rock shrimp appetizer, very good. My wife had a few sushi rolls, decent, but nothing stand out. I had the Wagyu Strip steak, save your money and get something else. (tough and under seasoned for a $100 steak) Save the steaks for the steak house and stick with the sushi and/or fish)

Very good food. We have ordered the Sea Bass on several occasions and it has been delicious. Sadly this time it was under cooked and we were disappointed. They also took the Korean ribs off the menu which was a disappointment. However the king crab roll was amazing. Everything else we ordered was fantastic.
