Great experience from the greeting to paying the bill. The staff is amazing and willing to help in any way. We have been coming to Kumi annually for the past four years. Each time, it exceeds our expectations!
Great dining experience! Food was wonderful
The fish is fresh, service is fab, but this place is pricey. Be prepared! I highly recommend the poprocks roll. And pretty much anything on the menu will not disappoint.
Overpriced with terrible fish. Got sick after eating here. Didn’t want to leave the hotel and totally wish we had. Don’t waste your money or sacrifice your stomach.
Staying at Mandalay so it was convenient, but sadly noting much to recommend it. The sushi was nothing special, and the menu overall was limited and uninspired.
The food was delicious and the service was fast and great. Hot Mess roll!
We made our reservation weeks prior. Got there early and they told us they couldn’t seat us until reservation time. Then stuck us Olin a huge back dinning room without anyone there. Truly, we were the only ones in a dining room for 150 people. So weird! So uncomfortable and so silly. They had this dining room available and wouldn’t offer it to us for 20mins. Won’t go there again.
Kumi was a nice quite dinner. It may have been close to closing since the dining room was entirely empty but the bar was busy. The lychee rose cocktail was to die for and the kumikaze roll was delicious. All items we order were very freshly prepared and presented beautifully.
The food was excellent and the service was amazing!! My Husband and I really enjoyed this beautiful place and we will be returning!
Very good a little pricey but excellent food and service
Birthday and Anniversary
great food. horrible service. basic cucumber salads took over 30 minutes to come out and then tasted awful, like they forgot to add the dressing
My husband really liked Kumi; however, I didn’t so much. Everything seemed pretty spicy, so if that’s your jam you may love it. I don’t love hot food. My rating is based on personal food preference.
We were staying in hotel and overwhelmed with so many dining choices . We made a reservation for Kumi and got there 20 min early and they seated us right away. The best thing about this restaurant was how FAST the orders came out . Wow ! That was truly impressive . Our group has a vegetarian and age found plenty to eat , we also had someone who doesn’t eat raw and she was totally satisfied too . We enjoyed the light batter on calamari , the two kinds of gyoza , and the black cod was incredible . The wagyu beef tacos were disappointing but the sushi roll with pop rocks was fun !
Friend was fresh and delicious- amazing cocktails but the prize was the world class service. Our waiter was incredible as was his supporting bus crew. It was some of the best service I’ve had in a long time.
We felt like were being rushed, but the food was brilliant and the waiter was extremely knowledgeable
It was awesome
The food was delicious but on the pricier side. The acoustics in the room we were seated caused an echo and felt very loud.
Amazing food as always!!!!
Food and service was great. Ambiance is lovely
Restaurant in Mandalay Bay
Seated quickly. The hostess took a photo for us as well.
Michael was our server and was great! George (Jorge) was personable too. They didn’t have Pernod, but did have Bulleit, and the right artisan cherries for a Woodford Reserve old-fashioned.
Ordered Bao Buns (excellent) and sushi (unagi, and Alaskan King Crab) to start. Awesome, fresh. Well-prepared.
Ordered hot saki; dry and hot, so my husband was happy.
Entree (split) was the Kobe short ribs. FALL OFF THE BONE. They graciously brought a knife, but it wasn’t required. :)
Dessert was a chocolate lava cake and strawberry soufflé with vanilla ice cream and a blackberry creme anglaise. Both done to PERFECTION.
My go to in Vegas every time. Food quality is more then exceptional! The staff are very friendly and professional. The service is wonderful. I simply love to eat here every single time!!
Had a kumikazi roll and husband had the ribeye. Both were perfection
The hot mess roll was amazing!!!!
Drinks were very expensive and for $18 expect at least something of decent size. Sushi and pot stickers were very good. Steak was ok and had to order sides ala cart:(
I ran super late and they could not have been any nicer. Waitress was awesome and food fantastic!!!!
We had a waitress filling in as the ‘head’ waitress was too busy. The gal filling in was awesome. The main waitress who ended up bringing our bill was unfriendly and curt. Went to use up my express comps that are expiring and she was super rude. Ruined a great meal. We also tipped 25% cash so no idea where her attitude came from.
The food is fantastic and affordable!
Highly recommend the tasting menu if you have a party of 4-6! The five course menu is selected by the Chef and it is incredible!!
The food was fresh, the taste was amazing and the servings were good. Will definitely go again
Great food. Cool atmosphere. Loved the hot mess maki roll.
Yummy and quick
Whenever I come to Mandalay Bay, I come to Kumi. I love the Tuna Crisps Sqaures, Gyozas, and Pop Rockin' roll.
The Pop Rock sushi was incredible. The service and food overall was excellent. Really fun date spot.
Food, service and ambiance all amazing. Perfect date night spot.
The service and food was amazing! I wish I could say the same for the casino.
Artistry of the food was beautiful. The price, however, for the small portions and small amount of creativity, did not add up. The restaurant sits relatively open just beyond the casino...so the noise level and the feeling of being in a hotel eatery does not help the experience. We had to go and have another dinner shortly after we ate even after spending over $150!
One of our favorite places to eat in Vegas. The Pop Rockin’ Roll is a MUST TRY!
