We came to Kris Chophouse to celebrate my vegan daughter’s graduation from university, and let me just say, they delivered. They offer a full three-course vegan menu every day for $49 per person. You choose your appetizer, entrée, and dessert. Naturally, we all went for it. She’s vegan, and we were fully on board. But this wasn’t one of those half-hearted “we-have-vegan-options” situations. No. This was thoughtful, creative, high-level cuisine. For her starter, my vegan daughter had the strawberry toast. And listen, don’t picture some thick diner toast with syrup and a couple strawberries slapped on top. This was elegant. Sliced on the diagonal, buttery, delicate, with layers of flavor. I had to keep asking, “Wait… this is vegan?” It was that good. My older daughter and I both had the vegan oyster Rockefeller, and listen, hats off to the chef. The presentation? Stunning. At first, we thought it was served on a bed of crushed ice. It was actually chunky sea salt. Thick, beautiful crystals. I even found myself wondering, can Himalayan salt be white? That’s how pretty it looked. The oyster “shell” itself? I have no idea what it was made of, but it was shaped just like a real shell and stuffed with something so rich, so umami, we went completely quiet. That kind of quiet. For the entrées, my vegan daughter chose the vegan beef Wellington. She was impressed with every bite. I had the vegan Salisbury steak with mashed potatoes and broccoli. Comforting and flavorful, exactly what I didn’t know I was craving. And my older daughter had the vegan lobster brisket, which was so filling she couldn’t even finish it. We took the rest home, but she couldn’t stop talking about it. Every dish we had was 100% vegan. And I need to say this loud for the people in the back. This was not your typical boring vegan fare. Once of my best dinner experience. Since the beginning through the final. Food, service and atmosphere are amazing. I highly recommend.

These were the finest steaks we have ever had, hands down. The ribeye was simply delicious and the filet was so tender you barely needed a knife to cut it. The salads were as tasty as they were beautiful. The brussel sprouts on the side were fantastic as well. The service was excellent. Angela took great care of us and a suited gentleman we assumed to be the manager stopped by to checkon us to make sure we were enjoying dinner. Overall, we had a wonderful anniversary experience and I would not hesitate to recommend Kres Chophouse to anyone for a special occasion!

My experience at Kres was great! It was my partner’s birthday and we had a blast. Our server Boullan (sorry if I got that wrong), was amazing. He truly did elevate our dining experience and made it a night to remember at Kres Chophouse.

We went to Kres Chophouse for the first time last night to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary and we were not disappointed!! All the staff were excellent -Mikey at the bar and Mike as our server were great! Mike was very knowledgeable on the menu and made great suggestions! The ambience and decor were lovely! We started with the Wagyu Carpaccio - which was unbelievable & The Star of the Night!! Everything else was also excellent - I had Grouper and my wife had the Wagyu Rib Cap!! Everything was really superb and I would highly recommend this place for a special night out!! The only slightly negative factor would be the price - not the kind of prices I would be willing to pay on a regular basis - we dropped about $300. I'm not saying it wasn't worth it - but certainly an expensive night out by Central FL standards!! We'll be back for another special occasion!!

Dress code was not at all enforced as mentioned.. very noisy.. Not a low key romantic setting but more of an upbeat social atmosphere.. With the reservation we advised to write Happy Birthday on the dessert of the plate of whichever he ordered.. the bill came without asking for dessert and when we ordered from the menu within the bill holder… to my surprise still nothing.. highly disappointed even though the dessert was comped.. it doesn’t take back the experience. I will simply choose elsewhere for sweet surprises in the future. The canard was decent and the Chicken Piccata had amazing pasta but the cutlet itself was thick and bland and needed to be dressed with steak sauce. Pick somewhere else unless everything else is booked.. especially vacationers.

This place is my go-to for corporate dinners and dates. Always top notch. Their steaks just blew away my client who isn’t new to fine dining across the country. If you’re from Orlando, you say “Kres” and everyone says “oh yeah, that place is great.”
