   Our Sunday evening dinner was wonderful. While the local wine we first requested was not available, there were very reasonably priced alternatives, as well as wines suitable for a celebration. The menu provided interesting options. The food was wonderful, and the young woman who waited on us was clearly experienced at what she does. A first: parking near the door for "Handicap and Over 70." Very welcoming.

   Everything about this place is wonderful! Excellent cocktails, inventive perfectly prepared food in appropriate amounts, top notch friendly service - as well as lovely intimate atmosphere. We have eaten here many times over 20 years or so when in the area and are never disappointed.

    Delicious and innovative food, good cocktails, funky upscale low-key atmosphere. I would have expected a livelier environment based on the website and decor. We might have hit it on a quiet night. I will certainly return for the food!

    Great birthday dinner for my wife. First time at the restaurant and the food was amazing. My wife had the crab cake and I had the salmon. Over the top quality and service. Nice intimate dining experience.

    What a lovely restaurant this is! We were greeted by Donna who ensured that our evening unfolded perfectly! Our server was attentive & every dish ordered cooked to perfection & delicious! We loved the unique pairings of the sides with the main choices....lemon risotto was especially amazing! Perfect evening!

    We've been going here for many years when in the area, especially when staying at the Inn at Monchanin. Even during the pandemic times, the restaurant has stayed strong, with good quality ingredients, interesting options, and skilled preparation. Our service has absolutely always been tops, and the environs are pleasing. On our most recent visit, our service was up to standards even though we could see that staff numbers were limited. An excellent cocktail preceded a meal every bit as good as always, and our server took the time to give us personal attention. As an aside, I had worried things might have gone downhill because the web site showed limited options - not the case in "real life." We'll be back, thanks so much to those who continue to provide an enjoyable experience.

    A meal at Krazy Kat's is consistently memorable. Last night it started with the perfectly prepared French 75 cocktail, followed by a generous serving of foie gras, creatively prepared with carmel and almonds. The beet salad provided a nice respite before the rich crab cake main course. Our meal ended with a beautiful chocolate tart, garnished with fresh berries. They do everything right.

    Wonderful Easter dinner. This is not the first time we dined here and it never disappoints. The crab cake entree that I had and the steak entree that my husband had were delicious. The pot de creme chocolate dessert and the lemon cake dessert were both excellent. The service was also excellent. We were seated in the enclosed porch area. Bright and cheery a perfect Easter atmosphere. I would highly recommend the restaurant.

    Went for Easter Brunch. Limited choice of appetizer & entrees & centered mostly around breakfast food & this was at 1:00 in the afternoon. Only non- breakfast items were mushroom risotto that still came with a poached egg & a hamburger. Food was underwhelming. Did not appear freshly made, poached eggs for eggs Benedict were not runny at all & the hollandaise sauce was almost congealed. The Caesar salad was tasteless with the romaine chopped fine. Hamburger was dry. Only the risotto had any taste. Very disappointing.

    So much potential but frustrating to see it not be reached. Rich in tradition and in a great location, this place can be so much more. “Closing” at 8pm on a Saturday night after taking a 7:30 reservation? That sums it up. Barely trying. The food, service, and overall experience was just okay. I want this to be the non-country club place to be in Greenville…but it’s not.

    Krazy Kats bills itself as a fine dining establishment, but the restaurant fails in numerous respects. We were celebrating the birthday of my elderly mother, who loves all things chocolate so I called a few days ahead to ask the restaurant if they had any sort of chocolate cake on the menu and if not, could the restaurant bake us one, something we'd happily pay extra for. No, I was informed by the condescending host, they did not serve "birthday cake" and they were not a bakery so would not bake a cake. When I asked if I could bring a cake she responded that if I felt I must I could go ahead so I did. At the restaurant, the wine list lacks the years of the bottles, the bartender was unfamiliar with common cocktails, and the server mixed up the orders, forcing us to rush to the kitchen to retrieve a rare steak that had been mis-delivered to a diner who'd asked for it medium and had sent it back when we realized it had been meant for another member of our party who had discovered she had the more well-cooked steak. After the main course the server brought out our cake and we sang happy birthday and then returned the cake to the kitchen to be sliced. Before it was served, the host came out and informed us she'd charge us $6/pp to allow us to eat the cake. We declined and she had them put it back in the box, before abruptly handing it back. Entrees are $40+ and our party of six had cocktails, appetizers and wine so hardly an inexpensive dinner. The food is fine, though unremarkable. At that price point, I expect much better service and at any price hosts should be welcoming. We won't go back.

Our manager would not make a statement like you suggest to any guest. We do not make specialty cakes, but do add a candle to desserts ordered. We apologize that the meals were mixed up - human error, not intentional. To be fair, you were condescending to the server and the manager and made other guests in the restaurant uncomfortable with your rudeness. Not returning is best for all parties.

    Absolutely wonderful atmosphere. Unique setting, beautiful decor and furniture, very comfortable seating, private and quiet with excellent service. The food was good but not one of the best meals I’ve had, perhaps because we came later in evening and on one of their last days before they then close for a day or 2. That being said I would definitely go back since I loved the entire restaurant experience there. Also their wine list was not the usual run of the mill standards but wines were thoughtfully selected with an extensive choice and reasonably priced. Going to Krazy Kats is more than just a meal, it’s the totality of what dining out should really be about.

    Having never dined at Krazy Kat's before, it was a pleasant surprise all the way around. From the dining atmosphere, to the service and the food, Krazy Kat's exceeded our expectations and definitely deserves a return visit.

    Visiting friends and family and have had a couple meals at Krazy Kats while staying at the Inn . This was our last evening with good friends - Donna was so helpful and gave us a great table and we had Clementine again as our server . She was as charming and attentive as our previous meal .     First of all, the service was very good sorry, but I can't remember her name. My wife ordered salmon on a bed of risotto. She specifically told the server she wanted the salmon well done. She ate the salmon around the edges because the center was rare. She also said the risotto was so overpowered with lemon that it was inedible. I tasted it and she was right. My meal was crab cakes over a bed of vegetables/ The two crab cakes were in the shape of meatballs and apparently were deep fried. They were hard and firm and not seasoned very well. The vegetables were too firm and crunchy and could have been cooked longer. My wife told our server about her displeasure with her meal and she said she would tell the chef. We ordered dessert, which was very good but we did not hear anything from the chef or manager on duty.

    We went to Krazy Kats after being nudged by an email for the Prix Fixe Monday menu. The ambiance and staff are both delightful. Two of us were ordering the Prix Fixe menu. Both had the Romain Salad. (very basic, hardly any dressing, ordinary). Wouldn't order this again. Should have chosen the soup. Both ordered the filet, with apple puree and asparagus. My husband's was very good. Cooked perfectly. My steak was very grisly and tough. I told our lovely server and after my other table mates had finished their dinners, I was presented with a replacement. This time the filet was very good....but I ate on my own. Our deserts were both good. Pot de crème and Limoncello cake were both tasty. Our third member chose the Scallops which she loved. Maybe don't order from the Prix Fixe menu....

    The only criticism is that “ We’re sorry we’re out of that” happened a couple of times - the items were on the menu. - I realize that’s probably a function of trying to keep costs down - but it doesn’t fly for the customer - it upsets an otherwise very enjoyable evening. Put another way it’s not commensurate with care and concern for your customer.
