Waitress not that great.... not very attentive, but other than that the food was very good.
Great steak on par with any steakhouse in Cleveland. Kind of pricey but nice place to go before a concert.
Very loud with announcements coming into the restaurant. Food was overpriced for the quality. Staff was great. Convenient if going to an event at the Rocksino.
Food and service was top notch!
Bread service was wonderful with the pretzel bread sticks!
Casino noise was not an issue.
Great food. Great service. Everything downtown offers without having to go downtown
Great experience. Will come back for sure.
Awesome food, I love the giant scallops, asparagus, steak!!! I'm sure I'll be back!! A++!!
Excellent service. Prime rib was perfect! Waitress friendly.
We had the private area for a nice family celebration. My 89 year old Mom said she would like to go there for her "90th" birthday--if she makes it--oh boy!
The food was good and the group had a wonderful time (they kept looking for Bernie). The noise was low enough where we were able to talk from one end of the table to the other. Would like to see more menu options. Thank again for the great experience.
Always enjoy cocktails, wine appetizers and dinner before a show at the Hard Rock. Prompt, friendly service and food always prepared to order!
The restaurant was really nice!! And super convenient at the casino and shows. But the prices were high, and the food wasn't great. I got a small steak for $40, and I had to pay even more just for each side dish.
Hubby and I have been coming here for several years now. Throughly enjoy our visit each time. Have invited friends for a meal and they enjoyed dining as well. The chefs do a superb job with food request and presentation.
Normally, we have great experiences at Kosar's. This dining experience was our worst experience that we've had. We dined on a busy night because of a comedy show at the Hard Rock. We were seated at a small table in the middle of the dining area, also in the middle of large, loud groups. This made it very uncomfortable and hard to hear my wife. Not sure, but I think this affected the whole dining experience. I will still continue to go back, but next time I will definitely speak up and ask for a better table location. My wife and I just didn't have the experience we were expecting on our special occasion.
Food and service was, as always, perfect! The food (crabcakes for me; prime rib for my husband) was DELICIOUS!
Great Food, great waitress/service. Only negative was the hostess. Did not have a reservation and was told it would be an hour and half before I could get a table. I put my name in reluctantly, but decided to open up my open table app. Lo and behold, there was a reservation available with only a 15 min wait. I confirmed it on open table, went back to the podium and asked the hostess if my 7:15 reservation from open table was in their system. She said yes. I said please cancel my 8:30 then. I was waiting for an explaination why she didn’t offer me the earlier time - no comment. My friend said that he had a similar experience weeks earlier. Seems they need to improve on the front end customer service. Other than that had a GREAT steak and good wine!
Food is always good, feels a touch overpriced for the atmosphere but all in all a good experience
Extremely over priced for the food you got. Also, what restaurant that sells meals at those prices has a salad bar? If you’re paying $50 for a steak, why would I stand in line for food?
Eh, just ok. Not upscale.
Great birthday dinner for my wife! Great food & service! We will come back again!
Sea bass was excellent. A expensive place and it’s ala carte. Liked it but not necessarily worth the price
Never had a bad meal there, yeah it's pricey but we new that going in. It's a great to go and eat before or after a show. Well worth going too and I will go back again.
The food was delicious, although the salad bar was lacking. Sides are definitely enough to share. Our waitress doubled as the hostess and wasn’t particularly friendly, nor attentive.
We had a party of 5, so the dinner lasted a little long (1 1/2 hours), but the service, and the food were superb. We, obviously, did not feel rushed at all, our waitress was polite and helpful, and we simply had a very enjoyable meal. We had a variety of selections, including steak, salmon, lamb chops, pork chops, and pasta, and all were done to perfection. And let us not forget the dessert which we all enjoyed. While we enjoy the casino, I would still travel here just for the meal.
Made a reservation in advance and upon arrival, they wanted to seat us at a busy area in the bar at a high top (note I requested a booth when I made the reservation). The lady at the desk wasn’t very friendly when we asked for a shorter table or booth (there was plenty of open spaces). Food was pretty good. I have some allergies, and the waitress looked at me like I had a contagious disease when I told her. The Manager came over and was very helpful and took care of me. Probably won’t return.
Very good steaks, also the bread is delicious. Will come back again. Great place to meet up with friends, or just a date with someone else.
Food was very good. Steaks could use more seasoning but were cooked perfectly. Sides could definatley be shared.
Good food, good atmosphere and great service. Nuff said
The food was pricey. Did not like the seasoning on my steak, husband did not like his pork chop seasoning either. Next time, really read a menu and make sure you are not getting that type of meat seasoned. Or make sure waitress knows to specify and ask you what you prefer?
Amazing food, great ambiance and FABULOUS service! From Jen at the front, to David@the salad bar, to Brad as our server- this is a must try place! We love the salad bar with the selection that changes regularly-yet never short of fresh and consistently topped off choices (just ask David, he'll take you on a 'tour' of the salad bar). The pretzel bread sticks in the complimentary bread basket are beyond words! We had calamari which was perfectly cooked, the fillet mignon with sweet potato pancakes (I added a little brown sugar and whipped cream-AMAAAZZZIIINNNGGG), grilled asparagus, along with the carrot cake (it's HUGE & moist-definitely shareable). The sides are large-plan on sharing OR having enough to pack for lunch the next day. We've had the bacon wrapped scallops in the past-also delicious, and the creme brulee is large with the perfect texture and sweetness. Personally great food and a nice ambiance are important, but they also go hand-in-hand with outstanding service. We regularly request Brad or Kelly (it's nice to have that personalized touch: remembering your drink choices, likes and dislikes of toppings/meat temperature, etc)-however everyone on staff is friendly and seem to be happy to be at work! Overall: it's become a regular stop for us.
It's 21 and over-PERFECT for when you want that 'adulting' time out 😊
*There's a special during the week with a deep discount-take advantage of that!
Very disappointing. We arrived early for our 6:45 reservation and accepted seating at the "high tops" at 6:00. The hostess made it sound as though this was less desirable seating however we preferred to give ourselves a little more breathing room before our 8:00 show. Thank goodness we did because the service was extremely slow even though the restaurant was 3/4 empty. We were not served our entree's until after 7 and had to rush to our show which was thankfully in-house. If we had kept our reservation, we would not have had time for dinner at that pace. We frequent many of the more reputable restaurants in the Cleveland area and therefore had high expectations for quality preparation and flavor of the entrees. The calamari appetizer was adequate but overpriced. The crab dip was inedible; it seemed sour and curdled with a layer of butter on top. It went back uneaten after the first taste. Despite the very visible wood grill, the steak had only a mild grilled flavor and the pork chop had none at all prompting me to ask if it was also cooked on the wood grill; it was unseasoned and especially bland with an unappetizing sauce in color and taste that DID NOT resemble a "Whiskey BBQ" sauce. The baked potato was soggy as though it was cooked hours ago and then reheated. Unfortunately, not only did we not have enough time to wait for a complementary dessert, but it does not make up for the very disappointing meal. We will never return. You would be better served across the street at the family-owned Spennato's.
We have found this to be a great "go-to" for a fun night out or a special occasion.......Have NEVER left disappointed.
Food was good but overpriced. A la cart for sides is expensive for size of the sides; waitress stated sides were big enough to share but size was small. Salad bar was disappointing, not much of a selection just salad & toppings & not worth price as an option as main entree. No option to get a small side salad with meal. Was nice to try but will not be back.
We had a delicious meal at Kosars!! Loved the lighting and atmosphere. Great for a date night out, or for groups to enjoy a night out.
A very good evening. A little pricy but I knew that going in. The staff are very warm and friendly. I would highly recommend.
My favorite restaurant!!! I love the food here ! Only thing I didn’t like is that the restroom is in the casino instead of the restaurant. It was a bit of a walk
Everything was outstanding from food to service.... very pleased!!!
Not bad just crowded so a bit slower then I’d like
Very nice good experience.
