I found Kori Tribeca on a whim and was blown away by the quality of food and the perfect ambiance for what we were looking for. We had the noodles and dumplings to start. Then we ordered more dumplings. Great prices on alcohol and we were able to eat and talk with no disturbances. the staff was incredible and was able to meet all our accommodations. They even were able to break up the bill accordingly, which is a hard to find thing in NYC. Will definitely be back soon!

Delicious! Great choices of unique Korean food, soups, salads, noodle dishes. Perfect for vegetarian and meat indulgers. Also nice teas, cocktails, and deserts, especially good is the chocolate cake. It is consistent an dependable to get a good meal.

Everything was great - except don't go on a very cold night - they don't have great wether proofing on front door or bathrooms - very chilly

This is one of my favorite restaurants to visit in NY! The service is personal, the setting is intimate and cozy, and the food as DELISH! If downtown, be sure to make a reservation and visit. It is a tiny place so be comfortable rubbing elbows with the locals while you enjoy your sizzling Bibimbap!

I just really liked this spot. We live in the city and eat out a couple of times a week. This was simple, nice atmosphere, great food and service. We opted to eat at the bar which was fun. Would be good also for a group.

Everything was good, but we are new to the cuisine and perhaps we're still adjusting. This was our second time at Kori; we tried another Korean restaurant in between and we liked the other one less. We're going to try again.

Great food, great service! Unfortunately when me and my girlfriend wanted the Jasmine Soju, and she had been talking it up and made me excited to try it, it couldn't be made because the bartender wasn't there which bummed us out since it seemed like it would have been a great experience. Now I know this isn't the restaurant's fault but I had reserved a seat for her birthday and was thinking of a low-light romantic spot for us to eat and talk but then a family of like 4 kids came in screaming and yelling and it killed the mood for us.. which was unfortunate. Had it not been for those two things it would have been a perfect date for us. I definitely think the Jasmine Soju and the soju menu should be available during all times and not just "when the bartender is there", otherwise it's probably best not to offer it in the first place.

This place is fantastic. It's not cramped together, the time to wait for food is minimal, the atmosphere is very pleasant, and the food was delicious. The presentation was also very nice.

The bathrooms are really dark though, or at least seemed to be considering the entire lower half of it has black tiles with a black sink and black toilet. I felt like I needed a flash light at that point.

Other than that, this is a really nice restaurant. And $5 beer, which is awesome too.

I was happily surprised by Kori.

It's a small place with a small staff. The bartender didn't show up until after 6PM. That was shocking. The food was delicious and plentiful. Beautiful presentation. My only complaint was that my drink ($12) spilled on the table and on my lap. Not really sure how that happened. But the staff quickly helped me clean up the mess and then asked me if I wanted another. Which of course I did. I was surprised that they charged me for it.

It's been my experience that if you spill a cocktail, it will be replaced - at no cost. Clearly not something I go around doing, but it does happen.

I wasn't going to argue. After all, it was my fault, but it seemed odd. I would go back again - after 6:30PM (Bartender), and I would be more careful where I place my cocktail.

The restaurant is incredibly beautiful and wasn't crowded when I was there, we had bulgogi and chicken bibimbap and they were very good, I was glad the spicy sauce came apart so you can make it how you like.
The service was just perfect.
Komapsunmida for the good surprise!

Very good, very tasty food, but especially good and tasty on a cold, nasty night! The menu has a number of 'hot pot' choices, one of which is tastier than the next. I haven't tried them all yet, but intend to. They bring spice on the side and know exactly how much to add according to your taste. It's small and cosy, with a relaxed atmosphere. Music not too loud. A real neighborhood 'gem'.

Decent food, the lychee martini was pretty weak, took a little bit to get seated even with a reservation. Good value for money, might dine again if I need a place last minute I can probably get into on a Friday night.

Finally, our first foray into Korean food and we were pleased. We began with wine and a lychee martini, the former okay, the latter good but too sweet. Two appetizers: the shrimp bomb and the fried octopus, both good and one main: the salmon bibimbap, not so good: salmon must have been precooked, too dry and very little of it. Everything was spicy, which we liked. We would try again.

Kori is my favorite Korean restaurant in NYC by a wide margin.

polished and professional- their food is precisely prepared, off a well controlled menu; Its delicate and delicious, but not pretentious.

Their Eel Bap is the best available in the city - I crave it at least once a week. The mushroom bibimbap is spectacular.

The restaurant isnt huge, so its always an intimate dining experience, quiet.
Their staff is respectful and attentive, but not annoyingly happy or hovering.

I dont seek or enjoy hip-loud-trendy-rude, nor spend my capital on them, so Kori is everything i want a restaurant to be.

Food is always great, but the services is very aggressive and detracts from the experience. My friend and I were asked no less than 4 times if we wanted to order drinks. We asked each one of those times to be left to look over the menu.

The waitress also tried to clear our dessert before we were even finished and when she packaged the leftover food, it was done so hastily that it leaked everywhere and I just had to toss it.

I think that's enough said - considering that in New York you never run out of good options.
