I just really liked this spot. We live in the city and eat out a couple of times a week. This was simple, nice atmosphere, great food and service. We opted to eat at the bar which was fun. Would be good also for a group.

Outstanding food and service, we also really appreciated the our server's recommendations. The pancakes, seaweed salad, and bibimbap were amazing. I will be back!

Everything was good, but we are new to the cuisine and perhaps we're still adjusting. This was our second time at Kori; we tried another Korean restaurant in between and we liked the other one less. We're going to try again.

Great food, great service! Unfortunately when me and my girlfriend wanted the Jasmine Soju, and she had been talking it up and made me excited to try it, it couldn't be made because the bartender wasn't there which bummed us out since it seemed like it would have been a great experience. Now I know this isn't the restaurant's fault but I had reserved a seat for her birthday and was thinking of a low-light romantic spot for us to eat and talk but then a family of like 4 kids came in screaming and yelling and it killed the mood for us.. which was unfortunate. Had it not been for those two things it would have been a perfect date for us. I definitely think the Jasmine Soju and the soju menu should be available during all times and not just "when the bartender is there", otherwise it's probably best not to offer it in the first place.

This place is fantastic. It's not cramped together, the time to wait for food is minimal, the atmosphere is very pleasant, and the food was delicious. The presentation was also very nice.

The bathrooms are really dark though, or at least seemed to be considering the entire lower half of it has black tiles with a black sink and black toilet. I felt like I needed a flash light at that point.

Other than that, this is a really nice restaurant. And $5 beer, which is awesome too.

I was happily surprised by Kori.

It's a small place with a small staff. The bartender didn't show up until after 6PM. That was shocking. The food was delicious and plentiful. Beautiful presentation. My only complaint was that my drink ($12) spilled on the table and on my lap. Not really sure how that happened. But the staff quickly helped me clean up the mess and then asked me if I wanted another. Which of course I did. I was surprised that they charged me for it.

It's been my experience that if you spill a cocktail, it will be replaced - at no cost. Clearly not something I go around doing, but it does happen.

I wasn't going to argue. After all, it was my fault, but it seemed odd. I would go back again - after 6:30PM (Bartender), and I would be more careful where I place my cocktail.

The restaurant is incredibly beautiful and wasn't crowded when I was there, we had bulgogi and chicken bibimbap and they were very good, I was glad the spicy sauce came apart so you can make it how you like.
The service was just perfect.

Very good, very tasty food, but especially good and tasty on a cold, nasty night! The menu has a number of 'hot pot' choices, one of which is tastier than the next. I haven't tried them all yet, but intend to. They bring spice on the side and know exactly how much to add according to your taste. It's small and cosy, with a relaxed atmosphere. Music not too loud. A real neighborhood 'gem'.

Decent food, the lychee martini was pretty weak, took a little bit to get seated even with a reservation. Good value for money, might dine again if I need a place last minute I can probably get into on a Friday night.

Finally, our first foray into Korean food and we were pleased. We began with wine and a lychee martini, the former okay, the latter good but too sweet. Two appetizers: the shrimp bomb and the fried octopus, both good and one main: the salmon bibimbap, not so good: salmon must have been precooked, too dry and very little of it. Everything was spicy, which we liked. We would try again.

Kori is my favorite Korean restaurant in NYC by a wide margin.

polished and professional- their food is precisely prepared, off a well controlled menu; Its delicate and delicious, but not pretentious.

Their Eel Bap is the best available in the city - I crave it at least once a week. The mushroom bibimbap is spectacular.

The restaurant isnt huge, so its always an intimate dining experience, quiet.
Their staff is respectful and attentive, but not annoyingly happy or hovering.

I dont seek or enjoy hip-loud-trendy-rude, nor spend my capital on them, so Kori is everything i want a restaurant to be.

Food is always great, but the services is very aggressive and detracts from the experience. My friend and I were asked no less than 4 times if we wanted to order drinks. We asked each one of those times to be left to look over the menu.

The waitress also tried to clear our dessert before we were even finished and when she packaged the leftover food, it was done so hastily that it leaked everywhere and I just had to toss it.

I think that's enough said - considering that in New York you never run out of good options.

The kori sashimi bibimbap with brown rice was a great twist on a classic Korean dish and the kimchi neon, although small, was very good as well. Both those dishes were delicious and our only regret was the bulgogi stew, which we found was not the best.

We visit NYC occasionally from the Boston area. I really wish we had a spot like this closer to home. The staff was welcoming, friendly and -- since we are not Korean food-savvy -- very, very patient, helpful and ultimately accurate in their menu advice. The soju choices were very creative and refreshing. Both the small plates and entrée portions were generous and spiced with both imagination and restraint -- those who were apprehensive about peppery heat were happy with their choices. We were sitting near the end of the bar area and the winter wind did brush through the hanging drapes occasionally, but I'd happily wear a sweater and eat here again.

Our dinner at Kori was fantastic! It has a great ambiance and the staff is probably the most welcoming and accommodating of any in NYC that I've experienced. People in our party were very late and they were so gracious in waiting for them and not pressuring us to leave or order. The food overall is really good and there are a ton of options. I can't wait to go back!

We were the Only Table in the restaurant (2 people). My order came out wrong! It took us awhile to get waited on. We sat with nothing to drink for awhile. When the correct order was finally served, the food was very good. I wish we had a better experience at the restaurant, since I did enjoy the food.

Kori is quiet, comfortable, and always a good meal. I brought my father and sister here for dinner on a Friday night, and it was the perfect place. We had delicious hot meals on a cold night (recommended: dumplings, bi bim baps, mushroom noodle soup) and had no trouble hearing each other. Good selection of drinks, as well. As always, service is also impeccable.

As always the staff of Kori TriBeCa is amazing. Service is always fast and courteous. The food is outrageous. Bulgoki being my top favorite with the Miso glaze. My wife loves the spicy sauce instead. But the restaurant is great and we will keep coming back. Everyone is always so friendly

This was my third time to Kori, and it was perhaps a little less than I have come to expect, but still very good. Service was attentive. Noise was an issue - we had a hard time carrying a conversation because the man next to us was talking non stop at a louder volume than either of us. I would certainly go again.
