Upon entering the place is more of a Korean grocery store than restaurant. The owners daughter informed me that they no longer participated in OpenTable’s point system, and I would have to call OpenTable myself. She further explained that they continued using the marketing even though they no longer participated. Was not a warm welcome to a mediocre meal!
We had reservations and waited at the entrance for 30 minutes for a host to check us in. They were severely understaffed that day.
Beware the menu listed on this app is not the menu at restaurant. They have removed the sushi and Japanese items. They also do not currently have a license to sell beer, but the do have saki and wine.
Food is absolutely delicious and Sophia is a bubble of JOY!!!!
This was our first visit and a little new to Korean food. Our server Sofia was excellent! She thoroughly explained the menu and options.
The food was delicious, served hot and relatively quick. We will definitely return!
A great chance to eat authentic Korean food. Sophia made the whole experience extra special as she guided us through the menu that is cooked by her Mother. Worth the trip
This was our first visit of the place, the service was reasonable however we ordered a chicken dish which was over fried and was inedible. Overpriced and not worth it.
Authentic, Authentic, Authentic. If you are looking to try something new and different, this is your place. Food was fantastic.
The service was a little slow, but think it could be described as relaxed. Our server was the daughter of the owner, and she was very honest and helpful with it being our first time there. We WILL go back. Want to try other things and love that Korean rice wine. Tasty!
The food is very authentic. Don't go in expecting Americanized Korean. It is not my favorite cuisine but I can appreciate it as faithful to Korean.
Best Korean Food in Ohio! It's authentic and consistently delicious. The Kimchi Jjigae is unbelievably delicious. Every visit here has been a "10". It's the real deal.
Very good food and service was great...We liked the food and will be back
Very good Korean food.
Server was pleasant and very informative
Place was dead, the menu is half the size of the one you see online.
Food was meh, not worth it for the price.
This place has went down hill fast.
Ashame
Terrible service. Trader Joe’s Kalbi is better than this joint. Not worth it!
Authentic Korean cuisine in a casual atmosphere. Great food and service at reasonable prices.
Best banchan in the city, hands down. Great food. Wonderful service.
Do not have their liquor license yet for beer. They do have wine, saki, and soju. Bring your own beer and spirits.
The first time we ate here it was amazing. Great flavor, great service, good size portions etc. Second and third time were very disappointing. The erratic service we can overlook because many times when a restaurant is starting they don't always have the appropriate number of servers to diners because they're still figuring that out. But the portion of food per order kept shrinking with every visit. The last time we went there the Kalbi was pretty much just a tiny bit of meat and mostly gristle on the bones. Couldn't believe they would even serve that. Maybe the first time we went they accidentally gave us bigger portions, but then in my opinion the "regular" orders are way too small to justify the price.
Great food, staff and owner were very nice and helpful. Dolsot Bibibot was fantastic.
Excellent place for date night or family dinner
Wasn’t sure what to expect when we ordered. But the food was excellent! The server helped us decide because there are so many options. I would recommend the Korean entrees for sure as you can get Sushi and traditional Asian elsewhere. We are for sure going back to try other dishes!
Very good food and service, staff explained menu choices very well. Delicious and authentic
We opted to try Korealistic after driving by one day. Our kids and grandkids were in town (Ages 6&8) and we took a chance on taking the grandkids to a restaurant that might challenge them. The waitress was fantastic and worked with the kids to find choices they would enjoy. The calamari was great and the fried dumplings were a real hit and the second order of dumplings soon arrived.
We really enjoyed our meals. I forget the names of the various dishes we had. I had sashimi over salad with steamed rice.
If you like Asian style dining then give this a try!
Best Korean food in Ohio, hands-down! Very friendly staff, convenient location, family-run restaurant.
If you want the best Korean food in Ohio, this is the place. The owner/chef of Korealistic is world-class! Everything on the menu is unbelievably good.
Run by Mother - daughter team with some help... daughter was server & had the whole restaurant to cover... Made the service a little slower... Asked for authentic suggestions & food was good... pancake with kimche was great...
Authentic korean food with excellent service. Our server was very nice and the food wad out within minutes of is having placed the order. Earlier that weekend er had tried korean food at this place in Chicago rated as one of the best, we found Korealistic to be more delicious!
Casual seat yourself. Bright overhead lighting. Sake and wine only. Very poor wine list so unless you drink saje I'd stick to water or soft drinks. Appetizer sampler was good and plenty for two. Dolsot Bibimbap very good. Kkanpunggi nicely spiced but swimming in too much sauce and heavy breading. Will go back to try Sushi.
Best Korean food in Cincinnati, very nice employees, great service, locally owned.
If you are looking for authentic Korean food, look no further, this is the place. Of course, the Dolsot Bibimbop is outstanding, but the Korean pancakes are also fantastic.
Very consistent - great food & great service! Best Dolsot Bibimbop in Ohio!
I walked in, there was no staff around. Literally over 5 tables were covered in food waste, used plates needed to be taken off of the tables. Seats and tables had crumbs on it.
I walked right back out
Absolutely horrifying
The food is absolutely fantastic!
Delishness, great service and a wide variety of authentic dishes
Restaurant is waiting for its liquor license so don't expect sake or shoju being served. Barley tea was good. Bimbimbop was tasty & authentic and the tempera shrimp and vegetables were good. Overall meeting expectations, will go back again.
Excellent family owned local restaurant. We seated ourselves. The owner brought us menus and took our drink order. We stuck with water since they're liquor license hasn't arrived yet. She said we could bring our own next time. The daughter Sophia was very cheerful and helpful. We ordered the Spicy Tuna Cocktail appetizer. It was amazingly good. Thick pieces of tuna sashimi and cucumber covered in spicy sauce and masago sitting on a bed of shredded cabbage. It was delightful. We ordered the Korean BBQ to share. Sophia brought out a tabletop gas grill and a generous plate of pork belly, bulgogi, short ribs and mushrooms along with a plate of lettuce to wrap. There was a spicy red pepper sauce to use with the beef and a sweet & salty sauce for the pork belly.
There was a nice quiet crowd for a cold Friday night. Everyone's food looked so good. We are already planning to return with friends.
This restaurant is excellent. I used to live in a Korean neighborhood in Chicago, and really missed having authentic Korean food in Cincinnati. Korealistic has the best Korean food in the metro, and you can order sushi and some Japanese entrees too. The free Ban Chan (Korean appetizers) served with Korean entrees is creative and delicious. Service is attentive without being overbearing. Highly recommend!
Delicious koreanBBQ
I will Like to keep trying all the foods
