Michael was our server and he was great as we were a group of 9 ladies with seperate checks and he answered all our questions, had a nice personality etc. Food was very good as we all ordered dinner. My only complaint was that we could not have happy hour prices on drinks unless we sat at the bar. Now where do you find a bar that sits 9 women during happy hour? As a result most of the ladies didn't order drinks and I doubt we will come back for our monthly get together.

Always loved the Kona grill when I lived in Scottsdale about 18 years ago. It is still a great place for sushi and is almost always crowded. I recommend this to all. Enjoy

We had a great dinner there. My wife had the burger. It was huge and cooked perfectly the way she wanted ; rare! We had poke salad that was also super !!

We were a party of 6 with all different tastes so the variety of the menu was great for our group. We had sushi, Thai, Chinese, steaks. Everything was fantastic. Our server was great! Gave us raspberries with the small amount of dessert we took home. He thanked us for being a great group. Very refreshing from a server.

Waitress was a little absent minded on a few requests, but overall great experience

The service was good but VERY slow. We waited over 30 minutes for burgers. Which by the way are HUGE!

Good place for dinner. Menu offers a lot of choices not just sushi. Appetizers are good especially the avocado rolls

Kona Grill at Fashion Square in Scottsdale: always high quality, always well prepared and presented, always served professionally, never disappoints. I have no knowledge of the other locations.

Our waiter Brian was an excellent server. Friendly, professional, smart, fast, efficient, and the food was very good. It’s amazing the difference a great waiter makes (no I don’t know him personally). Anyhow, we can always count on a great meal at Kona Grill but for an even better experience request Brian as your waiter (tall with blond hair).

This was our first time at a Kona Grill restaurant and we will go back! Our server was friendly and attentive and the food was hot and tasty.

The overall dining experience was okay. You should not expect a fine dining experience when located in a mall. The service and staff were friendly and professional. The food, however was not very good. The pot stickers were dry and tasteless. The sushi was just not very appetizing and two of our party that ate the sushi did not feel very good later. This experience was in contrast to our Kona Grill experience in Meridian, ID where we have gone several times and all with a good experience including the food.

Nothing fancy. Good sushi at a decent price. Can’t ask for much more from a solid chain.

Fish of the day was over cooked and dry. Wait staff removed my husband’s plate before I was finished, brought desert menus before I was finished and asked for his desert order all while I was still eating my entree.

The sea bass my friend had was amazing. My fried chicken salad was delicious. We shared edamame for an appetizer, and it was excellent.

Kona took a party of 12 of us same-day, which was great. Also, complementary dessert for a birthday. Food was really good and with a group, the price was extremely reasonable. Our waitress was kind of rude and disengaged, but I suppose we were a lot to handle for a big table later in the evening. Could've been better service but orders were accurate and speedy, so could've been worse...

Our server, June, was ah-mazing. My MIL's bday, our party of 6 trickled in so she had to come back for drink orders several times, 2 of them were GF... We were a hot mess and she was great through the whole thing. We felt like we were her only table.

The food (we all had sushi) was good, but it could've been crap and we still would've had a great night thanks to June.

Great place for lunch while in the shopping center or pre/post movie. We had the tuna poke and shrimp poke and both were very good.

We have been to Kona Grill several times over the years, yet every time we truly enjoy the great environment, The Staff and the Food has always been superb.
We definitely recommend this Restaurant, in this great location for Locals as well as Visitors to our City

Loved our waiter, Christian. Took a long time for everything though. Had to go upstairs to get our happy hour drinks (inconvenient and only 1 bartender). Food was excellent just took longer than anticipated.

Wow! Great food! My husband ordered the salmon and I had the macadamia nut chicken.
Both were delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant. Can't get these flavors anywhere else.

All the tables were dirty and they were not busy, it was nearly 10pm. The ladies made it seem like a big deal to clean a booth off for us. Then, our order was made wrong. Ordered a Vegas roll and ingredients were left out. Both salmon and cream cheese and they didn't fix it, apologize or adjust check. There were only 2 others tables in the area and server was not attentive. It was the worse service I have had in quite some time, not to mention the sushi was not good, made wrong and a complete disappointment.

We ordered both sea bass and salmon and were delighted with each. The fried rice side dish was delicious.

The waitress not only provided great service, but she was funny and great to talk to. The miso sake sea bass was amazing as per usual - the Tuesday date night deal is great (:
