   Server great hostess great food subpar Ribeye meatballs were hard as a rock sea bass was not good. Old fish is not good fish!!

   Really terrible experience. The food overall wasn't that bad but the drinks, the service, and the fact that they couldn't process our rewards gift certificate made the evening a downer. There were dishes piled up throughout the restaurant. It took over 25 minutes to receive our cocktails (cosmo and an old fashioned). Will not be going back

    We received some entrees before salads. They also forgot an entree. Food was delicious but service left a lot to be desired. It also took a long time to receive our drinks.

    We had 6 people who ordered at the same time yet 3 entrees brought out 25 minutes before the other entrees. This was a birthday celebration that went horribly awry. It was Very disappointing and sadly we were never offered additional water or beverages during the awkward wait.

    We love Kona. It just seems to get more expensive every time we go. It was overly busy with less staff than usual it seemed. Not the best experience we’ve had there, but still not bad. Regardless, Kona is still our favorite sushi spot to take our kids.

    Wonderful hostess, bartender and server. Very accommodating, last minute reservation for a group of nine and they worked hard to accommodate us. Highly recommend this place. BTW, the food was excellent.

    We went there for dinner with reservation , the place was not crowded they seated us gave it the menu and waited 10 min and nobody approach our table to put or asked us for water or if we were ready. We left

    chair had some sticky stuff I traded out thee chair while management watched. I explained the issue. there was no offer to help. server was slow on followup. Had to have another server to notify our need for service.

    I responded twice to their confirmation that would be there. We got there 5 minutes before our reservation and they still contacted you saying we were a no show. We ordered their special and finally 20 minutes later we were told they were sold out of it. So we reordered and never did get our 2 bowls of sticky rice. Won’t be going back anytime soon. Thank you.

    Have been to Kona many times but this wasn’t our best experience. They were not real busy but we waited 15+ minutes to be approached by a server. (After we had flagged down a manager). Very disorganized. We had to ask for flatware, ketchup, sweetener for tea (had to send him back again for something other than sugar). Eggs Benedict very skimpy though tons of hash browns. On the plus side we had plenty of time to chat and my aunts salad we delicious It was fine, but again not our best visit to Kona

    The waitress was apparently very new, and wasn’t familiar with most of the dishes on the menu. She couldn’t answer fairly basic questions. That extended from the salads to the main dishes. She didn’t have a clue. Completely inattentive to drinks.

    Kona Grill has great prices at Happy Hour for select items that otherwise would be quite pricey. There are 3 sushi rolls that we get that are $6 and $9 each. When not on happy hour those same rolls are $20 and $22 each. Our server Jensen was great! She took good care of us.

    Very loud on patio and inside. Could not have a table discussion. We requested to "tone down the music" - nothing was done. We noticed several people left before ordering because of pounding, blaring music. We had already ordered and our server (PJ) was excellent so we stayed, but we would not return unless alone and needed to sit at the bar and hear blaring music, with no possibility for discussion with anyone.

    Kona in Tampa was a good experience which led us to come here. Big mistake! It was very crowded and they didn’t have enough workers to handle the customers. Our waiter was good but clearly spread thin. He came back with a dirty martini which was sent back. It tasted like water, just ordered a beer instead. Clearly the bartender was terrible, worst martini I had in my life. No joke. The meatball appetizer was just ok. It took a long time to get our food and the burgers were mediocre. Be careful using the iPad, it charged us $3 for a video game and they had to take it off the bill. I would not recommend this place. There are so many other great spots around. If you want to wait for your food for hours, not be able to hear each other, get crappy mixed drinks and mediocre food, this is the place to go!

    Seven went for happy hour but none of us will return. Tonic was flat, Martini had ice chunks floating in it. Who makes Pork fried rice with ham? Too noisy.

    This is now the 2nd time at Kona Grill that we tried to pay with our holiday bonus gift cards. Both visits within days if each other I gave our servers the printed holiday bonus gift cards to use with any balance going on our paid gift cards. Both times the printouts were ignored after I specifically told them to use them first and they used the paid gift cards. The first time, we were short on time so the manager gave me 2 more holiday bonus cards instead of putting the money back on my paid gift card. The 2nd time I had the server put the money back on our gift card since we weren't pressed for time. The holiday bonus gift cards have an expiration date on them so this was especially annoying. The fact that it happened twice was extra aggravating.
