    Very poor service. Our waiter was distracted or something because he kept forgetting everything. Took 45 minutes to get food even though we had ordered the 2 kids meals immediately. Also, he brought 7 of our 8 dishes out and then it was another 15 minutes to get the last persons meal.

    We have been here 20+ times over the years and was surprised by the Cuban sandwich off the menu. Prices went up and portions went down it seemed. For the first time I left there dissatisfied darn it.

    “What do you want me to do, stuff them by hand?” Yes my server actually said this to me on 5/13/22 while I had dinner with my daughter! I ordered a signature cocktail “hellavah martini” which has blue cheese stuffed olives. Without asking first and after a long delay as a third attempt she brought me a dirty martini with regular olives. I like that drink too but Since this was the signature cocktail, I asked if she was going to charge me the signature price since she never asked if it was ok that she brought something other than what I ordered. That’s when she replied the above with a rude sarcastic attitude along with it. Being quick on my feet I just took it and then asked if she really just said that to me and I repeated it to her. She tried to recover her horrible insult but it was too late and I was disgusted that this was now Kona’s standard.

    We sat in the bar area, waited more than 10 minutes for drinks each time and was swatting away fruit flies the whole time. We were worried because we ordered sushi and sat near the sushi bar, realizing those fruit flies were everywhere! They landed on our food and drowned in our drinks. I have loved this place in the past but this was a whole new experience!

    Our original reservation was for 1:30 but when we checked in, we were told it would be a one and half hour wait. We had somewhere else we had to be so we rescheduled our reservation for 6:15. When we came back, we were told that their kitchen was so behind that they wouldn’t start seating any new tables until 7:00. By the time we were seated, I was starving and we immediately ordered our meals when we ordered our drinks and appetizers. We received our meals around 8:00 and it was the most disappointing meal we have ever had. There was absolutely no seasoning on anything. My wife and I had ordered the Ribeye steak thinking you can’t go wrong with a Ribeye. Boy were we wrong. It was the most bland steak ever. We didn’t even finish half as we had lost our appetites. I think I could by a steak at the store and eat it raw and it would have more flavor. We decided not to bother with desert and all 4 of us left with half eaten meals. We had been excited to eat there as it seams to be a very popular place but it definitely was not worth the wait and we will not be returning. My young daughter told us again this morning how disappointed she was with her meal because it had looked so good in the picture. I told her she would have been better off to eat the picture.

    Food was pretty good and the atmosphere was good with a modern decor. The service was very slow (albeit it was Mother’s Day so I give them a little break on the time it took to get the food to us). But our waiter seemed very aloof and wasn’t attentive at all to us. Had to ask a different waiter to get us cutlery, had to ask again to get us water. He didn’t come around much at all to ask us for refills except once or twice the 2.5 hours we were there. He wouldn’t remove the plates from the previous courses such as the appetizers. Brought a salad with the main course which is a major serving faux pas since as your forced to either eat your salad while your entree gets cold or eat them both together which is not typically how its done with dining out or eat your salad last, but who does that. Anyway, you get the idea, the waiter was either extremely new/inexperienced or uninterested in his job. Could have gotten just of good if not better experience at a more run-of-the-mill franchise chain with lesser reputation than Kona, honestly. Overall, I don’t think we’ll be coming back anytime soon.

    had a horrible experience, food took an hour to come and Shrimp stir fry had this burning smell to it that we couldn't even eat. Floor was dirty with food and trash right by our table and service was really slow! I just wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. I had to get up and grab silverware myself as the server was nice but too busy and would disappear for long time. It was mother's day dinner and we definatley didn't have good time there, never going back.

    I made reservations and they were an hour behind. We waited since it was Mother’s Day and when we were seated we were told the kitchen was an hour to 90 min behind before we would get our food. Not to mention the brunch menu we were told was as available was not. A manager passed the buck and told us to call corporate to complain. Just lost a customer for life.

    Absolute worst experience I’ve ever experienced. 30 minutes late seating us with a reservation. I can understand that because it was Mother’s Day. After seating, 20 minutes to get water. 2 hours later, our food still was not delivered. That 2.5 hours. They brought a free appetizer they said. I had enough and asked for the bill. Yep. My free app they charged me for. I gladly paid because I know to ask for it to come off the bill would have taken 30 minutes or more. I will never go back. I would advise anyone considering this location to think again. Seriously, they would have had to gotten better to suck!

    Kona Grill needs to work on their reservations system. Of course Mother's Day is a busy day, but they didn't seem to have their reservations system working. I ended up sitting at the sushi bar because I didn't want to wait an hour even though I had a reservation. There were plenty of mad customers. Our app's and drinks came fairly quickly, but the food took forever. At least the manager took off the food that my friend ordered - she received the first half of her order and the remainder took another 25 minutes. The wait staff was very apologetic, but the experience was not a good one. I will try again, but definitely not on a holiday.

    I had made a reservation. When I got there, they said it would anywhere from 45 mins to an hour and half wait. It was useless making the reservation. I asked if we could sit at the bar. I ordered the Kona Stir Fry. It didn't have carrots or cabbage which was listed as one of the ingredients. This was my first time going there. It will probably be my last time.

    The restaurant was terribly short staffed. We had to wait 40 minutes past our reservation and then food took over an hour to come out. Most of the orders were wrong and some veggies were cold. Not a good Mother’s Day experience.

    We had a reservation for 12:30. By 2 we finally had a table. Was NOT happy. I complained to the man at the front who gave me a piece of paper with a phone number on it and asked me to call corporate. The terrible wait made the rest of the experience not fun. This was my first time here and won’t go back. Terribly overbooked.

    We arrived about 15 minutes early, and were sat at 11:32 AM (our reservation was for 11:30 AM). We were greeted promptly by our waitress and ordered drinks from the bar. The drinks took around 15 minutes to arrive. They provided us with menus when we sat down, but we asked for a brunch menu (which never came), so we looked up the brunch menu on our phones. We ordered from the brunch menu. 45 minutes later and the food finally came out. The portions were much too small for what they were charging, and the food was cold. I ordered the omelet, my wife ordered the avocado toast, and our daughter had the pancakes. The kitchen was very obviously backed up. We will not be coming back to Kona Grill. We expected a lot more, but were let down.

    Angry edamame was tasty if a bit messy. Calmari was a bit undercooked, with all the tentacle parts fried and stuck together in a big lump. Can’t comment on any other food since I didn’t get to eat. My food came after my 3 dining companions were finished eating their food. No one checked to see if the food they got was good, and no one brought me the drink I ordered. Husband had to go to the service bar himself and get it.

    I’ve been here previously for dinner and the experience was much better. It could have been they were overwhelmed by the Mother’s Day brunch event, but this was not a good experience. The waiter brought me dirty coffee and creamer cups. I asked for them to be replaced and he did…with dirty ones (I have pictures). The food took a long time to come out and the waiter completely forgot about the mimosa I ordered. The French toast was good, but the omelette was the smallest thing I’ve ever seen and it was dry. It was really just folded egg. I could have gotten better at IHOP honestly. I don’t think I’ll do brunch here again.

    The calamari I ordered was not seasoned very well, the coffee was cold and I to ask for another cup. Ordered soft drink, but did not receive it until lunch was almost over. I will not visit this establishment again

    I had just got engaged and wanted to celebrate so we booked a reservation at Kona Grill. We went in 10 mins prior to reservation time. We were sat right on time. We had HIGH hopes for the restaurant and it was our first time! The table behind us asked for a basketball game to be put on tv. The manager and several servers came to help them. No one ever came to check on us! We waited figured they’re busy. Another table that was there before us hadn’t been helped either. We noticed that because a server tried to deliver them food and they said they hadn’t even been helped. We flagged down a server to see if we could get helped. 15mins had passed by this time. We waited another 15mins. 30mins total at this point! The other table was finally helped! But we never got a server! We went to the front hostess stand and let them know we were never helped. All they said was well get someone for you. We were done waiting. We walked out the back and went to a restaurant across the way!!! ENGAGEMENT DINNER RUINED BY KONA!!!

    Went on a couples date. Even with a reservation, we had to wait 20 minutes for a table. The restaurant was hot and needed the a/c turned down. Also by the end of our meal we have a half dozen little bugs swamping around our table that we constantly had to swat away. Waiting with empty drinks too long. Would have ordered more but service was sub par. The food runner actually went to check on our drinks and brought them for us.

    In a party of seven, five of us had issues with our food. The ribs were too tough to eat, the sea bass sliders had about a teaspoon of fish on them, the calamari & avocado rolls were unseasoned & tasteless, the filet came with a different side than the menu stated, & an order of sweet potato fries didnt come out until after the bill. It took us 30+ minutes to get food the first time and at least 20 minutes more to re-fire incorrect items. By the time the re-fired food came out, we just took it to go. We had been there for 90 minutes already. Our server was great. I dont blame him. But it took so long for management to come address our issues (more than 15 min) that the chef came and took care of us. When the manager finally showed up, he supplied no acknowledgement of our long wait or multiple issues. He just encouraged us to enjoy ourselves … hungry I guess. Fortunately, they did not charge us for any of the food they could not fix.
