Very expensive food that does not value the price. A salad with no meat should not be $20. Not much food. We are not coming back.

We choose to celebrate my birthday here at Kona. My husband and I both ordered the sliders and asked them plz be very well done. Everyone’s food came and our sliders were raw. We told our waitress and she took them back to the kitchen. It took 18 min to get our burgers back and ever one else was already done eating. Initially I came for the fish tacos but there were out of salmon so I thought I’d try the beef sliders. I was very disappointed. Marta was our server and she was wonderful it wasn’t her fault at all.

Food quality has gone down a ton. Their prices have been raised so high. I mean, $13 for Edamame!?? Mashed potatoes were so hard and dry they were inedible. Blended Margarita flight came not blended, no salt or lime or anything. Service was terrible. The place felt dirty. Will never go back again.

Food was fabulous, rather expensive, but very fine food. We were seated in the taverna area with open windows, and no shades for the western sun. It was rather difficult, could not keep from having the sun in our eyes. We had to wipe the table ourselves at least three times as it was completely covered with a glaze of stickiness. Service was good, not great. The cost of the meal with drinks and desert was nearly $180 for two people. At those prices the ambience and cleanliness should be at a higher level. I would recommend this restaurant. However, avoid the taverna, sit within the body of the restaurant….. and bring your wallet.

Order was wrong and no attempts to fix either - wasn’t even able to tell waiter until end bc there was no check in. Ordered a side of rice, which came at end of meal. Service was so poor - not urgency at all and the restaurant was slow for the night.

Food was wayyyy overpriced! Went on a family outing and we ALL left hungry. When paying THAT much for food I would expect us all to leave full! The fries were so plain, the coleslaw that came with ribs was so bland.. no zing. And a half rack of ribs for $30 was ridiculous. Sushi was very good, but SO expensive for the little you get. Very disappointed to have spent our money there and then had to go another place to get FULL!

Service was very good. I can make a better steak with just salt and pepper. The best part of the edemame was the salt, and the potstickers were flimsy, flavorless and seemed to have been just pulled from a pot of boiling water.

Honestly the food was salty, no other flavors but salt! The wait for the food was horrible. The service from the waiter was good but the service from the manager was terrible. The waiter was over worked with to many tables. I suggest going to Blue Sushi or Umami in Bellevue. They both have amazing food with flavor!

We have are once a month Kona visitors. While we feel it’s over priced in certain aspects like the $14 signature cocktails and pricey entrees, you just have to learn the menu. The potstickers seem like they are from Costco and cost $18 for 6!We really enjoy coming during happy hour. The best bang for your buck because we truly enjoy most menu items when they are more affordable. Last night the draft beer wasn’t cold so I was comped that and they changed their poke bowl. It’s almost flavorless. I will not order that item again. The Brussel sprouts, kids meal, spider roll and my husbands ribs were great.

I’ve been dining at Kona for years, and it’s one of our favorites. This trip was awful! Sticky table, horrid service, my salad was missing toppings, and the staff was standing around gossiping while our table was ignored. We most likely won’t be back, we have been going to Kona for a very long time.

We've been to other Kona Grill's in the past and had better food. This time the food was just average. I had the filet and it was just ok, my husband's seabass was dry and my daughter's roll was just okay.

The tables were really sticky and the flatware and plates were dirty. We had to ask for new plates and flatware. It didn’t seem too busy but it was loud and the service was slow. The sushi was the best thing we ordered. Don’t try the avocado egg rolls-they were very bland and kinda greasy. (If I’m going to eat something greasy and high in calories, I’d rather have a donut) Honestly, my sister said she would be willing to go back because of the cost during happy hour. But I personally wouldn’t bother coming back.
