The restaurant was not busy at all and it took over 45 minutes to get our food. The food was mediocre at best. The shrimp tacos only had two shrimp in each taco and was overloaded with coleslaw to look it full. The Kona loco was primarily rice and hardly any meat and vegetables. The sushi roll was the only thing that was decent. The fish and chips was way too bready and not tasty. Extremely disappointed that it has gone downhill and will never go back again.

We booked a reservation same day and are so glad we chose Kona Grill. The restaurant is spacious and beautiful with many areas to enjoy for dining or cocktails. Olivera was our server, and she was warm, caring and attentive from beginning to end. I chose the delicious macadamia chicken and my husband had cilantro lime chicken. They were outstanding, as was our wine. We are definitely returning when we’re next in the area.

Great waiter with Teddy… great food… great circuses!!! Will absolutely go there again .. the one in Oakbrook Illinois!!!

Its a little pricey, but well worth the quality. The ambiance is nice. The service is great.

We met for happy hour in the dining area. We were glad to be in that area as the bar area has high top tables and was rather warm. The dining area very comfortable. The service was excellent. The food very tasty. Very enjoyable experience. I would go again.

Lunchtime on a very hot Monday afternoon: The four of us hadn’t seen each other for awhile, and we mentioned this to the host, and then the servers. (One server was in training, the other was training her.) The host seated us at a nice big table where it wasn’t crowded, and the two servers were awesome! (Sorry, I am really bad at remembering names.) They made us feel welcome, answered our questions about the menu, refilled our drinks with impeccable timing, and didn’t rush us. Loved that there were “mix and match” choices for the lunch specials. And every one we ordered turned out to be delicious. We had a great mini-reunion. I look forward to returning someday!

The doors were open and it was very humid in the restaurant. I was literally perspiring and my friend was as well. The ice in our drinks was melting on the table. We left looking like we had been sitting in a sauna.

Kona isn't what it used to be. Overpriced is an understatement - and for grocery-store sushi at best. It was pretty bad. There are FAR superior sushi places in the area with better pricing too. Nabuki, Sushi House, Chef Soon to name a few! Plus, all ordering and paying is done through a tablet on the table - fine. Server only came over to drop food/drinks. Just didn't have a good ambiance. We won't be back unfortunately.
