   Went there for a birthday. The waiter took a long time to greet us. We ordered right away and food came pretty quickly. Waiter never came back so no bday dessert either. Probably would come back for happy hour but that is it

   We have dined here many times and this experience was very disappointing. Our appetizers came out very quickly but we waited 45 more minutes for our entrees. Our server repeatedly apologized for the wait telling us there was a new person in the kitchen. We spoke to the manager who said it wasn’t a long wait at all not realizing how long we waited between apps and entrees. I was very disappointed on our treatment considering our bill was over $200 and he wouldn’t consider comping an appetizer to make things right. He was not interested in hearing our complaints and said there was nothing he was going to do. I dine out very often and work in customer service and will not recommend this restaurant.

   I was disappointed at the rolls. They previously made California rolls with solid crab and now it is a minced combo, which is not good to me. My son had a burger that was undercooked and the bun was falling apart. This used to be our go-to place. Very disappointed.

    Sushi and salad meal was fair. The sea bass was great but it was a tiny piece of fish with a boatload of bok choy. Service was really good. Everyone greeted us with a smile. The service will bring us back again.

    Food was good, cleanliness had room for improvement. Our table had some sort of sticky substance on it that had to be cleaned and there was food on the floor beneath one of the chairs that hadn't been swept following prior diners.

    Went here for my daughter’s 16th birthday celebration kickoff and we had the best time ever! Everything and everyone was gray! The food was delicious and the live DJ set the party mood off! I love this place!!!!

    One of my favorite restaurants to dine in for a first date. My dates are always impressed with the food, drinks and the service. I have the opportunity to dined at their other locations in different states and they are uniformed when it comes to customer service and satisfaction.

    Happy hour food was terrible quality. TVs in bar/lounge were out and staff had no interest in trying to troubleshoot. Happy hour prices basically just mean smaller portions of the low quality food, and drinks are not included at same time as happy hour food - very confusing.

    Long wait with a reservation. Took a long time for our waiter to come to our table. Food quality is really bad no taste and took forever to come. No real options for people with allergies.

    Made a reservation for myself and a friend for her birthday and we went for5om happy hour. It was her first time dining there however I am a regular for dinner. We enjoyed the appetizers and usually when I come the appetizers are full price. Just about everything that I usually order were on the happy hour menu for a discounted price so that was awesome. I will definitely items be coming back for happy hour. The restaurant was quiet. We were able to converse at a normal volume which is great and service was really fast and our server was great.He brought my friend a free dessert for her birthday. That was really cool. Although he was new and still learning the menu he was able to answer my friends questions and find out answers to the questions he didn’t know. Will definitely be going back. I love Kona Grill!

    The service and ambiance was great. The drinks were okay. The food also had a great taste. The only thing to be mindful about is portion size which is definitely on the small side for the price.

    Everything was great! Food was amazing. We enjoyed ourselves. Got a bit loud with a dj there so slightly hard to hear on a Saturday night but overall we didn’t mind too much.

    We were celebrating 2 birthdays and the food was delicious and the service was outstanding. Our server, Juan did an excellent job!!! He made excellent recommendations for appetizers and main entrees. He always brought refills so we never had to ask for one. When we return we will definitely ask for Juan to be our server again!!!

    Starter: Potstickers & Crab Crunch roll. The potstickers could have been warmer. Overall both were good. Drinks were good. Red Sangria. Chicken Macadamia Nut was very flavorful, the beans were wrinkly and hard to chew, I left the rest and the mashed potatoes could have been warmer & Kona Stiry Fry had good flavor with larger amounts of broccoli and not much chicken which was overcooked. I would recommend getting better knives (serrated) to cut through the Chicken. I shouldn't have to force the knife to cut a piece of chicken.

    We’ve dined with Kona Grill many times. The food is pretty good. But this experience was awful. Service was barely there if at all. Rude server . I ordered ribeye meatballs and asked to substitute whipped potatoes with fries. My husband ordered an omelette. The server wasn’t sure if the substitution was possible. She never came back to inform me if it was or wasn’t. Half hour into waiting for our food we flagged down the server and asked her if she had an update on the foods arrival she said “I’m waiting for it”. When the order finally started coming out. The meatballs were brought out at about 1:20 then several minutes later a small plate of French fries were deposited on the table. No omelette in sight. Our reservation was for 12:30. At 1:30 a measly looking omelette emerged. By that time my husband was over the whole experience. We paid the bill for items consumed and left. Not planning on going back

    For the price, you can get better food and better service. Think of Kona Grill as a diluted version of the Cheesecake Factory. Appetizers had prices of a high end restaurant with serving sizes for a child. All the food was way too salty and you felt heavy after the meal. Two of our cups weren’t cleaned all the way and one of our forks had a piece of residue attached to it. Overall not a good experience.

    Meatball appetizer came out ice cold, switch it to calamari which then was rock hard and very tough to chew. Main course was all messed up. I wanted my steak medium and my date wanted her prime rib rare. Well they switched it up on us. We sent it back and it then came out the same exact way. Plus the sides were ice cold at that point. We moved on and ate what we could. Our server was very apologetic, no issue with her. The manager then came over and got us 2 free drinks and took the meat balls off. Tall black gentleman. But I still had to pay for the horrible meals. We ended up getting fast food on the way home, after I just spent $170 at a place I thought was much better than that. Maybe it just wasn’t there night, but I’m not sure I will ever ho back!

    After driving around the parking lot for about 10 minutes we finally found a spot to park and managed to arrive a few minutes early for our reservation. Checked in and then proceeded to wait another 33 minutes before we were seated at a table. There are five adults in our group and they sat us in a booth for four that couldn’t comfortably seat all of us in it. We asked the waiter if they could possibly sit us at another table, he said we’d have to go back and ask the hostess. Before re-inquiring with the hostess if this could happen, we asked the waiter how backed up the kitchen was an he said over an hour for our food to arrive. Needless to say we didn’t end up staying since we had another reservation to get to and ultimately didn’t get to celebrate a combined birthday dinner for two.

    My foods came first which was surf and turf. My Sushi roll (Las Vegas) came out 10 min later than wife’s food and then my stir fry (which was supposed to come out with Las Vegas roll) came out 30 min later and wife was done with her meal… Server came over and apologized 4 different times, but nothing was offered by a manager to fix problem and/or even check on the situation. Go to restaurant all over the country, but food timing at Kona was not very good.

    When making reservation for Valentine’s Day dinner, selected to be seated in the regular seating area. We were seated in the patio area with really loud music and sports games on. Then we ordered our food and our main courses came before our appetizers… The food itself was not the best either. The fried rice tasted like it had a ton of sugar dumped into it. The shrimp stir fry was super spicy and sweet. Our server came to only check on us once the whole time we were there and then didn’t even ask if we want more wine or a dessert. Just not a good overall experience.
