First visit to Kona Grill in Lincolnshire. First impression ...so so experience. Food was very tasty ( macadamia chicken /Flank Steak / lemon pasta - were the dishes we ordered). Service very lackluster- waited nearly 30 Mins for our entrees to arrive - and our server provided no updates. Also noticed multiple dishes sitting in kitchen under warming lights , sitting for as as long as 10 minutes before finally bring delivered to customers.

I wanted a nice place to celebrate my friends birthday and this was the perfect choice. We made dinner reservations and were immediately seated and our drink selection was brought right away. The server was friendly, enthusiastic, menu knowledgeable, efficient and cute to boot.

The food was perfectly prepared and tasted fantastic. I had the NY Strip steak and my friend the tuna. For dessert, we had the brownie cake, which was a little dry -but very flavorful. I would return for any occasion and am taking my Mother there for Mother’s Day. Check this place out, you will not regret it

The four of us selected Kona to celebrate two of our birthdays. The food was tastless and not a good value. The best part of the meal was the wine. Also, they didn't provide any birthday desert to top off the four second rate meales. Would not recommend this resturant.

We enjoyed our meal but the noise level was extremely loud and we could hardly talk.
My chicken and pear salad came without any pears - very disappointing. It was also
drenched in salad dressing.

My 9 and 10 year old boys loved the menu too - lots of choices for young and more sophisticated. Fun place, good food!

We have eaten here a few times and each time the service has not been good. Food takes a long time to come out of the kitchen - even on slow nights and the staff don't seem to be around giving updates. When we finally do get our food, it is good, hot and fresh. The food is priced well for what you receive and we do not leave hungry. Too bad the service is such a letdown.

We asked for a quiet table and were greeted promptly. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable and the food was great. What more could we ask for? We are already looking forward to our next visit!

The food was excellent! The service was excellent. I had a crack in my water and the manager came and apologized. Very thoughtful. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone I know. We will be back.

Salad Portions have gotten small compared to what they were and to the competition

We were there at 3:30, after the movies, and it was quiet, allowing for conversation. When it gets busy, the noise level isn’t as conducive. The menu offers a lot of options, for both carnivores and fish eaters. We had a paleo friendly plate of fish wrapped in cucumber without rice. Very creative and beautifully presented. They are open to substitutions, as I had bok choy instead of fried rice. The miso soup was very good, too. Good service, and a nice meal...

Arriving early for my reservation, I went to the bar for a cocktail. GREAT happy hour handcrafted cocktails! Also a nice menu of discounted appetizers/small plates, which aren't "small" at all! Waitstaff was good and seemed very knowledgeable about the menu. Gave us some excellent info and helped us decide. Strip steak was cooked to the right temp and seabass was fantastic! When deciding on a dessert, our server recommended the carrot cake, which was right on target--absolutely delicious and HUGE!

My friend and I each ordered the Poke bowls along with lettuce wrap and cucumber wrapped around thingie to share . Fabulous sashimi and low carb options! Her hubby got potstickers, flat bread and egg rolls. We had a feast and loved the 80s playlist.

Not a very good selection of food. Lunch selections were very expensive and no choices for smaller lunch portions. Might be a good place for dinner but not a good value for lunch. Service was very slow and restaurant was not busy. Server did not come to see how our food was or if it was OK after it was delivered. One guest ordered hot tea and water was luke warm.

Our waitress Christina was great. The food was really good. From the Tuna stack, calamari, avocado eggrolls, chopped salad, salmon. Everything was really good.

We went to Kona Grill for dinner on Valentine’s Day. The food was delicious! We started with hamachi sashimi and chicken lettuce wrap appetizers - both were excellent. Our entrées included macadamia nut crusted chicken, and jambalaya. Both were extremely tasty. Our waitress was friendly and informative and the atmosphere was pleasant although a little noisy. We will definitely eat here again!

Our waiter was fantastic. Very accommodating, friendly and professional. All four of us enjoyed the meal. Perfect night out!

Our server Alex was very upbeat and attentive. Had the avocado egg rolls, delicious and the chicken satay.. Sauces for both dishes were amazing. Happy our was a pretty good deal too! Nice place to stop before the theater... Will go back😊

Had dinner at Kona Grill to celebrate my niece's birthday. We were able to get a table in the heated patio space. Our waitress introduced herself shortly after we took our seats. Our drinks and appetizer were served right away. For appetizers we had the calamari with Kona aioli and the dragon roll. The calamari was very tender and delicious. For dinner I had the seared tuna and it was cooked medium rare which was perfect for me! My niece had the filet and it too was cooked perfect! Dessert was the mango brulee and it was light and tasty. Service and food were excellent. Can't wait to go back!

Food and service were both great. Didn't order sushi this visit, but will definitely go back to try it.

We had never dined at this restaurant before. I chose the Sunshine Roll but didn't realize
that it was sushi and included raw salmon; I never eat raw fish. It was a big mistake, but
I would go back and try some of the other items on the menu.

Service was ok and menu had options for everyone. Ambiance is more of a family chain and not a nice date. Sushi was horrible, I’ve had better from grocery store. Wouldn’t be high on my list for a repeat experience

Food was good, but we waited at the front fro 5-10 minutes without anyone coming by to seat us. Was another group also, eventually ate at the sushi bar, which was not ideal with young kids.

Really creative menu and wonderful service. We came early and they were graciously able to seat us.

Rude host. Wouldn’t answer my questions, just pointed to where to sit for happy hour. Food was decent but overpriced and I was so turned off by the cold attitude from the host I lost my appetite. The bathrooms were filthy. Not coming back!
