    Happy hour use to be much better. Husband and I had 2 sushi rolls, sliders( came with 2) potstickers ( came with 3 tiny ones) and ribeye meatballs ( came with 2), and 2 alcoholic drinks. Ended up $60 for hardly any food. So disappointed.

    We liked the sushi rolls, the children’s Bento box was wonderful! Came with a brownie Sundae for a dollar more! Tomato soup is a favorite of ours here. I had the tempura shrimp roll and really liked it. Drinks were good. We ate outdoors and the heater was on making the team just right. Service perfect!

    The thanksgiving plates seemed to come out after sitting under heat lamps for a long time. Hardened shell on the mashed and stuffing from sitting out.

    Good apps (meatballs and potstickers), filet was not hot nor medium (yes, familiar with correct ordering), crab Oscar topping was lousy- more claw meat and filler/no taste), chili green beans were excellent, two in our party had Thanksgiving specials- turkey dishes- pretty good but not enough gravy:). Overall nice choice for out of town Thanksgiving dinner.

    We went for Thanksgiving dinner. Turkey, stuffing, potatoes, green beans and a dab of cranberry sauce for $35. A piece of pie was another $15. That felt pretty cheap. The food was good. The service was outstanding. The music was much too loud, especially for Thanksgiving. We'll find somewhere else next year.

    The service and staff were great! The place had a good vibe and was very clean. The food was well prepared and was faithful to the menu description. My main complaint is that the dishes were $10 over priced for the portion size. Two 4 in diameter pieces of chicken breast, an ice cream sized scoop of mashed potatoes and a cup of green beans for $35! I know this isn’t Furr’s Cafeteria but it ain’t Roy’s either! Come on man!

    Our drinks were great and well prepared and presented as was our bottle of wine. We both enjoyed ribs which we always love. As we age we need to enjoy KG earlier and earlier as it gets a bit noisy. Gracias.

    The spicy edamame were amazing. They forgot our sweet potatoes and it took a while for them to figure it out. Sushi was okay.

    The brownie dessert was VERY dry and almost grainy in texture like it was several days old. We didn’t even eat a quarter of it because it was just off. The music playing was a little louder than I would like but it was not terrible.

    The service and food were amazing. We sat on the patio which is next to the parking lot so there was busy traffic noise since it was gorgeous weather on a Saturday night.

    Ordered a New York Strip, but they brought a Filet, Server took the filet back only to return it saying they were out of NY Strip. Apparently he wasn't notified that they swapped meats. Then they charged the same amount for a different steak! $170 for 2 people to share a dinner and a few drinks is too much!

    I get that it’s a Friday night, but the music was way too loud. Many people want to go see friends and converse not be at a concert Food delicious and server wonderful. However, $9.00 for a small side of white rice was ridiculous. My drink was only 6 and sliders too. We were all shocked to see 9.00 on the bill for it.

    Out of town choice for dinner and we were not disappointed. Three brothers in the area for golf and our triplet birthday celebration, each choosing a dinner site. The Kona Grill was my pick, and it didn't disappoint. The fish tacos were delightful, with a nice layer of heat; the sushi was delicious--fresh and succulent. The Pumpkin Spice cocktail was a special treat, harmonizing perfectly with the Marker's Mark. We three give this wonderful site Five Stars for a creative, satisfying menu of food.

    This was our first visit to Kona Grill. We are new to the area. The waiter, Blake, was friendly and attentive. We left a good tip even though we were not impressed with the drinks or the food. Usually, if a restaurant dissatisfies me, I don't leave a review, but in this case, the disparity between cost and quality compels me to remark. The Cadillac margarita didn't even have a lime taste and it was watery. I order margaritas everywhere I go, and this has to be among the worst. There was so much ice in the short glass that its contents disappeared after a few sips. I ordered a Long Island Ice tea hoping for something better and it was also lackluster. My wife's Old Fashion was OK to her and she ordered a double Woodford Reserve to follow. She put a splash of her whiskey in my Long Island Ice Tea and it tasted more like what I would expect. She didn't even put in half an ounce, so I question the ingredients in my drink. Anyway, my drinks were quite disappointing. The order of pot stickers came fairly quickly. My wife thought they were undercooked, but I didn't mind the pasty side. I ordered filet and shrimp and replaced the green beans with brussels sprouts. The steak was small but cooked to order and the shrimp were fine. The brussels sprouts were halved yet undercooked and much of the stalk remained, so I had to cut it off from each half. The Macadamia Nut Chicken did not please my wife, so she didn't finish her dinner. She said the chicken was just a preformed patty (she liked the sauce that accompanied it, though), the green beans didn't taste good, and the mashed potatoes were also processed and had a stiff texture. We took her leftovers home, and I ate it for lunch the following day. I agree with her assessment. Sorry to provide this negative review.

    I been coming to Kona for many years and never been charged for lobster butter $9 dlls on a surf and turf plate plus $10 for extra asparagus is ridiculous never coming back

    Kona was great. Crab crunch roll seemed a little off but everything else was excellent including the drinks, Bama Roll, and Wave Roll. I’ve been a few times and expected the noise and the DJ always has great mixes. Service is usually friendly and helpful.

    Me and a friend went for restaurant week and the ribeye meatballs and sushi roll were great. Surf & Turf filet was over-cooked and but double brownie dessert was excellent. Overall not bad for value.

    Waitress was rushed and not attentive. it seemed like she was having a tough night. Wanted sushi but they were backed up ended up with an over priced burger. Over a 100.00 for two drinks beer, cocktail a stir fry and the aforementioned burger.

    The experience tonight at Kona Grill I Gilbert Az for Arizona Restaurant Week was absolutely exceptional from the food right down to the service and staff. It’s one of our favorite restaurants and enjoy it every time we are there whether it’s for happy hour, lunch or dinner. We highly recommend it you give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.

    Arrived early for 6pm reservation, hostess said she could not seat us for quite a while because they just sat a group. What’s the purpose of a reservation? Then said it was because we needed a high chair. I requested a high chair through Open Table for this reason. Totally pointless!

    good food and service. Unfortunately, someone decided that the dining room needed to be more energetic and they cranked up the music WAY too loud. couldn't even talk anymore. So disappointing that they thought they needed to turn it up so loud when it was just right before.

    One of the appetizers came out after we finished our dinner. We thought they forgot so we didn’t say anything, but once we finished the waiter said “perfect timing” and brought the sushi out. The ribs had a lot of hidden cartilage in it. We asked for salt two times but it was forgotten. They increased the volume of the music so we ended up having to almost yell to hear one another. Overall, we would not recommend this restaurant.

    Waiter informed us that the kitchen was running behind, when this happens at The Keg they usually offer a free dessert or other compensation. Not here. Restaurant Week menu was nice!

    Taking advantage of Restaurant Week menu, we ordered prime rib and glazed salmon, both of which were outstanding - the salmon in particular. First course salad and meatballs were excellent, as was dessert. More food than we could eat so brought some home.

    The inside of the restaurant had no moving air and was very warm. In Arizona, there is an expectation of a restaurant to be at least a little cool in temperature. It affected the entire dining experience
