Over priced poor tasting and quality food. $140 for less than decent food. Won’t be returning. This place has gone downhill.

Great service. We had a group of 10 with split checks all spread out across the table and ordered more items at random times. Our waitress kept up with everything, every order correct and never made us feel like we were being difficult. Food was great!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Had a great experience at Kona Grill! The service was excellent, and the 3-course meal for just $39 was such a steal by everything tasted amazing and came with wine or bubbles. Definitely recommend for a fun night out!

We ordered our meal plus appetizers. We did not receive the appetizers for 40 minutes. The meal was served almost an hour after our order. The server never came by the table to explain the delay or to ask how we were. The restaurant was not particularly busy so not sure why the food was so late in being served. We could understand if they had been really busy but there were several open tables. After dinner was served, the server never came to ask if everything was okay. The steak was missing the bearnaise sauce but nobody asked. They also seated a loud large party behind us which was annoying especially when we knew there was another same size table farther away. I have eaten at Kona Grill previously and it was great. Not sure what the break down was this time. Server needs training in customer service.

we've been to Kona many times & it is one of our go-to's when out-of-towners come in. However, this time was the worst service & food we've had there. The ONE bright spot was 2 of us ordered sushi and that was served quickly & tasted fantastic. The other meals (4 of us) were not good, my friend's salad was missing components, my buddy's dish was thrown together & looked like it. My salmon & rice was drowning in sweet glaze (way too much) & my wife's steak was overdone & tasteless. Our server although nice was nonexistent for much of the meal & at the end was totally not around.

UPDATE: They ended up comping us a free dinner to go back and try again and this time it was lovely. No wait, got right in during our specified reservation time, access to the full menu and a great dining experience! The biggest issue was we had a table reserved for 2/00pm and we didn’t get seated until 2:50pm. I understand it was Mothers Day, but this was pretty disappointing and additionally there was a limited menu which was also disappointing. Luckily the food here is amazing and delicious every time. My two kids (5 and 8) were troopers with the long wait and ended up eating every last bite of their food at least!

Terrible! Ridiculous! Mother’s Day Kona Fail! We had reservations today and it took an hour after that time for them to seat us. No apology from the staff or managers. Took another 20 minutes to get a waiter to take our order. ONE HOUR after we are seated, our food is finally delivered and my wife’s Prime Rib is over cooked. Sent it back and second try… same fail!!!! Such a SH*T show! I spent 5 years working in high end restaurants and couldn’t believe how poorly the management handled this situation! Was a big fan of Kona Grill but we won’t ever spend a dime there ever again!

Mother’s Day service and performance were pretty spotty. Even with a reservation, “greeter” staff (in quotes because they were anything but welcoming), dismissively barked at us that we would have to wait a half an hour to be seated inside. Kona Grill promoted their unlimited Mother’s Day special too extensively for the number of staff they had working. Our waiter messed up one order; the kitchen messed up two out of six guests. When one guest asked for sweetener for tea, it was not brought without another guest having to finally go get the waiter. One guest asked server for more dressing and just got a look to say “I don’t do that.” We reported this to waiter, he just laughed and finally brought more almost when meal was over. We ate in two shifts and the enjoyment was pretty diminished. The food was……okay. We just won’t come again on a promotion and overall won’t come again for a long time. The experience at the front door set the tone. Poor performance in a number of areas.

Terrible. We had reservations for Mother’s Day. We were sat immediately and waited for over 20 min and were never greeted by a server or any other staff member. We got up and left. We will not be coming back to Kona Grill.

Mother’s Day was a disaster. $50 per person for cheap quality food, served for volume and expediency and not for quality? No way a child will eat that much. Should have had a menu of breakfast items. I saw so many people get seated and promptly leave. There is no chance we return for Mother’s Day or any special event.
