Chief Joseph made delicious sunset roll, thank you
If it where not for our server constantly apologizing for the delay. Manager paying for dinner it would have been a total disappointment. Once food arrived by manager the potatoes were cold and meal was lukewarm at best. Dessert was the better tasting meal. I wanted the restaurant in Plano but unfortunately got the NorthPark location.
Bland food, exorbitant prices, absolutely not a good value.
Thanksgiving meal was delicious and traditional. Loved it. Would recommend for Thanksgiving, for a couple or small group.

Easy and great place to meet prior to making it to the movies
I gave it 4 stars because the bartender was slow at getting our drinks out. Food came first. Drinks and food were both great. Will go back for sure
Our order took 45 minutes to come out and when it came my salad was completely drenched and soggy with dressing and my avocado and egg was missing!
Just bad all the way around.
Awesome food and great service
I forget how good the food is at Kona Grill, and the service is excellent! Very flavorful food and accommodating service.
Thank you SO MUCH for the 5 star review and kind words! We strive to give the best experience possible, and I am so happy to hear that we hit the mark! Please join us again soon!
Extremely loud, slow service, strong fishy smell, no salt and pepper on tables, expensive.
Very special day for my mom - her 95th birthday - made even more special by the wonderful wait staff and manger at Kona Grill. Our original reservation had to be increased to an extra large group which KG accommodated. We arrived a little early and were seated even though our entire group was not there yet. Our waitress Tierra (sp?) was so professional: prompt, pleasant, and knowledgable. Due to unforeseen circumstance, 4 of our group were unable to join us and 1 person was an hiur late. She never batted an eye.
Food was very good. All of our orders were brought out very close together. Gluten-free options available. Every one enjoyed there meal. I will note my cilantro-lime chicken was dry. 2 people ordered French dip which they both polished off. Two people order from sushi menu and no complaints there. One person had several special request that were all addressed graciously. As a treat for my mom, the manager arranged for her to get a special dessert - butter cake with raspberry sauce and vanilla ice cream. The cake was moist and dense. Delicious.
Noise level was very good. We could all converse and my mom had no trouble hearing anyone. Lovely decor with soft lighting created a relaxed atmosphere. Would return again for another outing with a group or a date.
It was very mediocre. We had been wanting to try Kona Grill for quite some time. We finally did and I was a bit surprised. This location is in Northpark Mall so I assumed it would be a good experience. The service was the worst part. We were seated and it was 10-15 minutes before we were approached by a server. The rest of the meal was waiting to order or waiting for refills with empty glasses and of course waiting for a check. The server was not attentive at all and she definitely didnt care that we spent most of the meal waiting on her. The food was not bad at all but it wasn’t good either. We had avocado egg rolls for an appetizer which were decent. We ordered a NY strip, sushi roll, a burger, and the sea bass for our 4 entrees. The strip was about what you would expect at chilis. The sushi was very similar to what you would get at Kroger, the burger was pretty good, and the sea bass was the worst that I had ever had. The drinks were just mediocre as well. The bartender doesn’t know how to properly make an old fashion but the attempt was ok. Long story short, I would highly recommend trying a different restaurant to spend $200 at. This one isn’t worth the money and the staff probably doesn’t want you there anyway.
We enjoyed the sushi and potstickers more than our entrees!
The service was exceptional and the food was delicious! We had a wonderful happy hour meal!
Great happy hour menu! The patio is nice and shaded. Food was delicious. Overall a great experience!

They had a very bad customer service and the staffs don't respect the customers. They also made me wait for 40 minutes for the food, and the foods aren't that good either, so they are not worth the wait. If I have chance I will never come back to this restaurant.
Great food great service great beer and overall a very nice place definitely will come back again
Went in last night (Saturday)... called b4 my reservation time to notify the front staff that I was walking up, but night be a tad late..... they had me on hold for 5 mins and never came back to answer the phone..... thought that was weird, especially since it was nowhere near packed.
Got seated. Wait staff was very frazzled and forgetful. Did not pay attention to requests or details (plates needed to share appetizers, refills, etc.) No condiments or chopsticks offered with sushi. Took 45 minutes to receive margarita.
Meat was sent back for being undercooked.... only browned outside and sent back to table.... cut into the meat, and blood was still visible.
Ambience was nice, DJ was great. Kitchen/ wait staff, and maitre'd at front needs work.
This location has sadly gone down. Most likely will not be back.
I had a excellent time as always. This place is one of my favorite restaurants to go.
Their food is delicious, but I wish that some things were more customizable, like salads. Allergies
Kona was really good! Food and service! Loved the sushi and sliders! Buns were so fresh!
Yellow tail sushi roll and drinks were good but not much gf options for the friends
Wish they would bring back their old happy hour.
Everything was good at Kona. The service was wonderful and the food was perfect and delicious! We got macadamia encrusted chicken, green salad and avocado egg rolls. One thing that wasn’t so good was the selection of music. During a relaxing lunch about 2:30pm, the energetic , loud music didn’t fit the mood at all. Maybe that music fits better at night, but not for a relaxing lunch. Still Kona is great!
Very good but pricey
Happy hour need to be back for the weekends
Server was good. But the food was ok. Not the best Kona food we had before. I think they don’t have enough chefs in the kitchen.
Our waitress, Jennifer, was excellent, very attentive. The food was delicious. We went for restaurant week & we’re not disappointed. The music was a bit too loud as it made conversation difficult.
Restaurant Week Menu was a good price/value. Dumplings and Picasso Rolls were very good. Chicken dish was good and flavorful. Prime Ribs were also flavorful and 2 out of 3 of them were very good, the third serving was easily 2/3 fat. Service was good and Manager responded quickly to fatty serving issue.
The food was not what we expected.
So, so. It was sushi, nothing special. Priced a little higher for basic sushi, but it is a chain and in a mall, so this is expected.
Delicious food!! The new manager was awesome and our waiter was even better.
Do not eat the Macadamia Nut encrusted chicken 🤢 Terrible !!!!
Great happy hour appetisers and cocktails.
Sam the bartender was great at the patio. Amazing drinks and best mojito I’ve had
Thank you for your feedback, we will recognize sam for a job well done!
