It was okay. Food was nothing special. We will not go back, nor will I recommend to any of my friends.

Seemed understaffed for a Friday valentines dinner. Everything was slow coming, from the bar order, to appetizer, to dinner. Our server was new and was attentive, but we were disappointed in the pace. Ingredients seemed fresh, though my entree was under seasoned. A Valentines menu app of lobster potstickers came in a serving of 3. Would make more sense to offer 4. It would have gone a long way with us if we’d been offered a complimentary drink or app for the service issues. “I apologize for the slow service” doesn’t work when it’s at every course.
Didn't find any of the food to be above average but the service was pleasant.

Incredible dinner at Kona Grill. Our server was fantastic and walked us through the menu as it was our first time. We started off with sushi rolls and sashimi and ended with steak and salmon. Incredible meal all the way around. Will return when we are in the area.
It was ok but I didn’t like the fact that I had to wait to be seated even thought I had reservations

Our server was absolutely FANTASTIC! He was engaging, knowledge, and an absolute delight.
The lighting was so bright on the table, the glow made it not posiible to sit at first table. All tables the same. We place ourselves at another table for 6 people and sat on the end to avoid the glair. 25 Minutes to receive our4 first drink. Another server saw the drinks sitting at the bar so long he brought it to us. Our appetizersers arrived before our drink order. Konoa was half empty and not enough wait staff.
I have never given a bad reveiw for anything.
Great food! Ate in the bar since it was crowded. Our server was excellent.

They should have never been open Christmas Day. They were totally unprepared. Server forgot to put our order in was a 3 hour experience
With a reservation we had to wait approximately 45 minutes before they seated us and considering that it was Christmas evening we did expect a little delay in seating, however, what we did not expect was 15 dirty tables who no one wanted to clean and seat the people at the door , including us, for a table. There is absolutely no excuse to have dirty tables when people are waiting. By the time we were seated and had dinner a hour and a half had past and still 15 dirty tables, the hostess started to reluctantly clean a few tables. You would have thought the people who had sat there and had dinner must have had leprosy. Wear gloves if your that phobic. Our waiter was great and very accommodating, joyful, cheery and attentive. People at the door without reservations were told it was 2-2 1/2 hour wait for them to be seated, unacceptable by them, so they left. This restaurant lost hundreds of dollars because of a lack of management. The cook couldn’t keep up with the orders, the help was lackadaisical, the management evidently couldn’t make a decision, but the experience was worth a lot to us on where not to go to dinner in the future, particularly for a holiday. I also, object to Open Table sending me an email stating that we were a NO SHOW and to read their policy. That needs to be rectified immediately. The only thing that was extremely fast was the check, mere seconds! We are both chefs and eat in restaurants all across America because of our personal jobs and can tell good restaurants from bad restaurants. We do not want to say this was/is a bad restaurant, however, room for improvement is obvious. Best wishes for the New Year 2020...you’re going to need it. Lm

Our server was a little slow and not as attentive as we would have liked. We will definitely be back. The food and drinks were great!
Our waiter was horrible, not friendly, took the menu right off the table that I was reading and said I will leave you one menu which my wife had. Food was awesome though
Horrible experience. We went for an early dinner, before the rush. I mention this because our waitress was running around seemingly busy, doing nothing. We ordered our 2.5 year old daughter's food to come out asap as she was very hungry. The waitress replied, "Yes, definitely. " I then ordered a salad to come out before my food. She said, "Yes, Parmesan Cheese Crusted Cesar Salad, got it" and wrote it down. We proceeded to give the remainder of our order. Our daughter's food never came early. I never got my salad. AT ALL. All the food came out at the same time. Our daughter was crying and starving at this time. A manager came over to see if everything was ok. I explained that I never received my salad and wanted to be sure it wasn't on the bill. The waitress then came back and explained that it was her fault and she never heard me order a salad. How did she not hear me if she repeated it back to me? I chose to not argue with her. We may have ordered another drink or two and tried to relax, if ever offered. Possibly dessert too, if ever offered. But instead the bill was just thrown onto the table. We will not be suggesting or going back anytime soon.
Very nice dining experience for Thanksgiving. Personable, professional service and delicious food.
It is tough to say that I would recomend Kona. The food is always outstanding but the service varies. This particular date, we had great service. But I have been there 3 times since and the service has been fair to bad.
when I first arrived I sat outside and never received service so I sat inside and finally received service. food was amazing. service was decent. I would def come back just not in the bar area.

Our waiter, Brandon, deserves an extra shout out. We were a party of 8 on Halloween night. When we arrived, the restaurant was full. Throughout the evening, Brandon was engaging, knowledgeable and helpful with the menu for those of us who’d never dined at Kona Grill, prompt with our meals, and diligent but not pushy when checking on us. Our whole party was impressed with the food, from the satay and calamari appetizers to the varieties of sushi rolls and different dinner entrees. The oriental salad with macadamia nut crusted chicken was superb along with the pike bowls. Again, a big thanks to Branson. He made our night top notch!
Apparently there must have been inadequate help in the kitchen because it took one hour for me to receive my entree and my husband his soup. The waiter was very apologetic and we could see she was trying, but things came out late. And, it wasn't even crowded for a Saturday night. We have eaten at Kona Grill many times before and this had never happened.
Generally, everything is excellent but this time, and I really regret having to write this, the server was not up to your usual level of service. She was confused, the food and drink orders were messed up and it took too long to rectify the different issues.

My server was amazing. Didn't get his name, but very charismatic. I sat out on the patio and the temperature was great. You cool actually feel the air conditioning out in the patio which meant I didn't say my clothes out (being in Texas and what not). I got the sunshine and fiery shrimp roll. Delicious! I will be back.

We wanted to take my mom somewhere nice for her visit to Dallas and she absolutely loved this place. The menu has such variety so everyone was able to get something they liked. Our server, Lonnie, was so great and helpful with our selections. We will definitely be coming back here more regularly!
My husband and I came during their Happy Hour and we were more than Happy with the food and the price. I highly recommend Kona Grill to anyone in need of a good sushi place.
I was meeting someone for a business meeting and we both wanted some sushi. Definitely a good choice with great service! I would definitely try another Kona Grill!
I ordered the ribs and asked the waitress if the sauce was spicy. She said it was not. She must of had ribs somewhere else because they were very spicy. The ribs were dry and tasteless. My husband had pad Thai which had a strange flavor. The California rolls were good. The manager came over but never asked if I would like something else. There are so many great rib places in Dallas why would we ever go back to Kona Grille
Food is okay. Nothing to write home to mom about. Service was terrible. She may have been new...but they weren’t even busy.

Was not a good night for Kona. Our server was not playing with a full deck. Then there was a large table that really backed the kitchen up.
Food was amazing. Environment was amazing. Our server was not spectacular. She left us for long periods of time without checking in. When we asked for our check, she asked if it was separate or together. We indicated we needed two checks, she brought four... we sat without refills and had to ask the food runner to find our waitress.
