Enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner very much. True to recent form, service was a little challenged but our waitress really huddled. Do any restaurants hav a bartender? God drinks take forever everywhere. Music was a tad loud. Never disappointed with Kona Grill, they try hard.

As empty nesters I didn’t feel like cooking Thanksgiving for two. We opted for the traditional turkey dinner and the macadamia turkey dinner. Very moist turkey!
Sam was so quick and efficient and our meals were delicious.
We enjoy coming here regularly but we were very pleasantly surprised at their Thanksgiving items.

Went with teenage daughter for Thanksgiving day lunch. We were seated immediately and server was pleasant and efficient. Food was excellent, although the Brussels sprouts ( which I loved) were a bit oily and eventually made me feel a bit gross due to their heaviness. The sea bass I had was good but not amazing. It was a little bland-the sprouts outshone it easily-but well cooked. Daughter’s sushi roll was good, but she found the lemon slices too much and had to pick them off. The only disappointment was the calamari which was perfectly edible but the breading was undercooked. I would return just to eat a plate of miso mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts with or without an entree.

Dinner was so great and service was also great. We ordered sushi and decided to order more after finishing the first round. We did have to wait quite awhile for the next round of sushi to come out but I server was great and made sure to keep us informed about why it was taking so long.

Server was friendly, a bit over extended but that was expected. Food was a bit disappointing, the NY strip was ordered medium but came out medium well, the sushi was average. Was hoping for a better food experience, will have to give another try.

The food was good but the service was absolutely terrible. Our waitress was not very good at all. Waited to even get greeted, waited forever to get drinks including water and our food took a long time. Other people who got sat after us got served before us and got their food before us so clearly it was a server issue.

The food was not at all worth the high prices. The ribeye had no flavor. We ordered cocktails that weren’t even drinkable. Music was very loud and didn’t at all for the ambiance I expected from this restaurant. Overall will not be visiting here again.

We go to Kona Grill all the time and last night was not great. Music and atmosphere was too loud to even hear people at our table. Our food came out so far before the other half of our party that we were done eating and others hadn't even gotten their meals. Not a great experience

Chose Kona Grill for anniversary dinner, based on a very positive experience we had at another Kona Grill years ago.

Made reservation for indoor table, but was seated in the patio area, which was much more casual than we wanted, but at least had a space heater making it comfortable. After requesting to be moved indoors, we had to wait several minutes, even though we had reservations and there were many open tables.

Here's the good:
1) Server was attentive, friendly and got us a $5 credit.
2) Fingerling potatoes with my NY Strip were tasty;
3) Oriental salad dressing was yummy;
4) Hubby's Macadamia Nut Chicken was excellent.

Here's the not so good;
1) They were out of Diet Coke, so I had to settle for Coke Zero;
2) They were out of drinking straws;
3) Oriental salad needed twice as much dressing, and I would have preferred it without Cilantro.
4) Asked for steak to be cooked medium-well, but it was definitely cooked well done, hence the $5 credit. With that said, at least it wasn't dry and it was still fairly tasty.
5) Asparagus was a bit tough.
6) Hubby's tomato bisque was so-so.
7) Dining room was drafty and actually cooler indoors than the heated patio.
8) Ambience was not very special, and not how I remembered the other Kona Grill to be.
9) No point in mentioning it was our anniversary in our reservation, because we weren't treated special, and not a word was mentioned about it.

It's not that our dinners or the restaurant were particularly bad, but for the price point, I expected better.

Jordan our waiter was awesome. He gave excellent suggestions for dinner. Our dinner and drinks were fantastic. We sat out on the patio which was warm, but what happened to the ambiance of the lights? We had an enjoyable evening with friends.

Food was delicious! That being said…. The bartender was the rudest bartender I’ve ever dealt with- when we ordered our drinks (off the menu) he said “Those are a b*tch to make- it will be a bit” then when we asked for our check later he was a total jerk about it. We had about an hour wait after having reservations placed a few weeks in advance. This wouldn’t have been a huge issue except for the bartender being unpleasant and we had reservations after this for top golf.

We go to Kona grill often and have never had too many issues but this was almost not worth going back. We asked for silverware and napkins three times and never received them. I had to go get them myself. We were a party of 4. My wife and I order salads and we only ever received 1 salad but were attempted to be charged for 2 . 1 person in our group received her meal 25 Minutes before the rest of our food arrived. My wife and I each ordered sushi. I ordered 2 rolls and my wife ordered 3. We ended up with the same 3 sushi rolls. At this point it was even worth saying anything. It will be a while before we will be coming back.

We went to the Kona Grill for the first time and we're glad we did. We were greeted by our server Dez who was absolutely great. Her infectious smile and great service won us over quickly. The food was crazy good and the restaurant was bright, clean and modern with a great dining ambiance. We met the manager Sarah who was also a pleasure to speak with and she should be very proud of her restaurant and staff. We are definitely going to be repeat customers.

Our night out hit a major road block when the young hostess had no idea of our reservation. Fortunately the floor manager was near by. He sensed my frustration when they sat us at a high top between the front door and the bar. He quickly moved us to a table on the patio. Our waitress met us shortly after we sat down took our drink order and was patient while we contemplated or choices.
The menu was easy to read with enough choices.
Our waitress brought out our meals quickly, she didn't want it to cook while waiting for our sushi. The steak was beautiful and delicious. The chicken & shrimp wraps were simple and scrumptious. We had a show at 9:15 and we were done by 9:05pm. One little hitch in the beginning that was rectified quickly and easily. We'll be back, for certain.

Well it was our anniversary yesterday and so I planned a romantic night out with my lady. We made reservations for 7:00 and arrived at 6:50 ready to check-in, we were told it would be a few minutes before we would be seated. 30 minutes go by and we still have not been seated, we kindly go to the hostess and ask about our reservation for 7 and how long it will take before we are actually seated because now we are well past our scheduled time. She tells us it will only be a few more minutes now only a few parties are in front of us. Another 15 minutes go by, and by this time we just decide to leave and go to another restaurant. If we make reservations for a specific time then we expect to have a table reserved for us at that time. If you can’t guarantee a table for us then don’t have reservation slots open during that time.

Reservation was 45 mins late to have us seated. We sat at our table for another 10 mins with no service. We left. I understand the issue with staffing, but either be upfront about it or don’t take as many reservations.
