Keep the music level lower so people can talk! The ribs were outstanding, the rib eye was so so, the lobster rolls were excellent and the sea bass was very good, although small. The wrong appetizer was served. The waitress offered to fix it, but we had already ordered our dinners and knew they would come out before the new appetizer was made. Would definitely return.

Had been here many times and enjoyed the food an ambiance, but not in the last few months. The menu pricing is now very high, especially for the quality of the food and type of restaurant. I had the chopped salad with macadamia nut crusted chicken. The chicken had that rubbery texture. There was just a small amount of egg and avocado, and just a dusting of ground up bacon bits despite the menu saying applewood bacon. Not what you would expect for $24! Won't be back.

We sat in the outside covered area near the bar. This was a fun ambience with louder hip music. We had excellent service from a friendly and super attentive waitress. Food was delivered quickly. Everything was hot and tasty. Steak burger was not a favorite. They were expecting a larger, juicy burger. These were two thin, greasier burgers. However, the rest of the food was excellent. The sliders and the Poké bowl were delicious!

Our waiter CJ was very attentive and friendly! He was great. The food was very good. The only reason we would hesitate going back is due to price increases. There are too many comparable restaurants that do not charge near the price of Kona currently.

I brought my guests to this restaurant bc my past great experiences. This visit was un unpleasant one. Poor service, my steak , which was required as medium rare, was well done. I mentioned that to the waiter but she did nothing to fix it. When time to pay, i had a $25 reward card from Open Table, but the waiter said the card is declined and Open table only foes that for promotion not that the reward is really valid. I was so surprised by the response since i had Open table rewards in the past and they always worked. Bottom line: i will not recommend Kona to any of my friends. Service and quality of the food are in great decline. Will not go back.

Unfortunately, we did not have a positive experience. The food was mediocre (e.g. cold fries, poorly cooked ribs, burnt fried rice, etc). Despite being very few people in the restaurant, the service was extremely slow…drinks not refilled, no plates for appetizers and barely at the table. Overall based on the price and quality of food, it was not worth it.

It would be nice to have silverware before the food is served. By the time we had silverware, the food was cold. The sea bass sliders portion was too small. Server was nice. Noise (music) for what ever made it impossible to hear the music on the green. Overall it was not an impressive experience and a poor value.

Three of four people got their dinner. They were half way finished eating and had to flag someone down to get our server. She finally cane to the table so we could ask where the fourth dinner was. She cane back with it and said she didn’t know why it wasn’t delivered because it was finished and in the window. She didn’t come to the table to check on us at all. We ended up door dashing dessert from another restaurant to meet us at home when we got there.

Reservation was for outside. Host tried to put us at a high top table in the bar. Not really the atmosphere we were looking for with 2 kids. They eventually sat us outside. Food came out and was cold. Chicken sandwich was cold and overcooked. Bun tasted old. Kids macaroni was cold. Mashed potatoes cold. When Kona first opened the food was great. Not so much anymore other than the sushi.

Kona Grill Recently raised their prices. Very high prices for what you receive. When I wanted to substitute shrimp for chicken they wanted 8 additional dollars. When I questioned the price the waitress said it is because their chicken is a special kind. I said no I am giving you back the chicken and getting shrimp. She replied with I don’t make the prices. It ended up being $33.00 for chicken Pad Thai. According to searching other Thai restaurant you would normally pay about $ 16.00. And what I had last night wasn’t that good. I felt gauged. Too many other choices. We will not be back.

This was my first time at the restaurant and my view is tainted by the location. It is in an area with high traffic and difficult parking. The food was OK but not outstanding to make me want to go to that particular location again.

Our server was new and he did a great job. It took a long time to get drinks but that was on the bar tender being very busy, not the server. The prices for appetizers was crazy expensive so we didn't order entrees. The food was very good. One of my favorite places to go but the prices are getting too high.

My sorority sisters and I went on a Friday during happy hour and it was amazing. The food was great I had the spicy tuna and BBQ chicken. I drank the watermelon margaritas and have NO complaints.

I’ve given this place many chances time and time again and each time is awful! Server forgot mine and my guest’s drinks (different occasion than the one I am writing about today) then told the manager that we changed our mind instead of owning up to their mistake. Now to my latest experience… Bartender needs a lesson on what a double pour is. I ordered my first drink as a double on the rocks and it clearly was a single (if that). The server was sweet and checked for me. She came back saying the bartender was sure it was a double pour. I ordered a single the next time and it was more than the “double that I ordered”, so that just proved that the first time wasn’t correct. I work in a restaurant and I believe what happened is that the bottle was coming to an end and the bartender was just too lazy to grab a new bottle to finish the first round off. RIDICULOUS!!! Also, my Pad Thai was still HARD. Not even cooked all the way through. Like what an actual joke. The only reason why I didn’t complain is because the server was nice and I was with friends.

We asked to change our table and at first was hesitant to do so but then gave us a table where we asked. Food took longer than it should have to come out and the server was on top of informing us of the timing. Overall ok experience

Our first time to Kona Grill. The service was awesome. Kaitlin was a great server. So nice. If you have not been to Kona in Liberty, it is a must. The sweet chili glazed Salmon was unbelievable.

The lemon garlic pasta is so good, and even better with the added shrimp! I get this every year for my birthday. My other favorite is the shrimp and lobster roll! And it is just such a nice place to go!
