Great food, nice wine menu, terrific service, easy access from the street and the mall.
Had a nice family lunch. First time at this restaurant, great experience.
We were there for a birthday. A neighboring table had a waitress that gave a desert to a birthday person but our waitress said Kona Grill does not offer anything for a person’s birthday. We did not complain since our waitress was very friendly.
It was our anniversary. The server was great! She was nice and friendly.
I wasn’t a big fan of the sushi platter. It didn’t look or taste fresh. Everything else was great!
Slow service - we had a party of 9 and waited 30 mins to take our order.
Good place to meet w/friends. Food about average nothing exceptional. Server excellent!
Excellent as always...
Birthday... but even though I stated it on the reservation, no one acknowledged it. I had hoped my son would at least have gotten a free dessert for his birthday, but it wasn’t offered One, and I didn’t want to ask for one.
Sunday all-day Happy Hour menu. NOTE available in bar only. GREAT fresh food - variety is amazing - fish is fresh - awesome service - great drinks - at the food court side of Chandler Fashion Center - valet is right there if you need it. I love love Kona Grill - always can count on al the consistencies that we want as patrons: great service - great ambiance - great food and great vibe. I know it's a chain but it feels unique everytime!
The food was very good our apps came out with our mains ? Good sushi
We love this restaurant! Kona Grill has the best sushi around - fresh and flavorful every time! We frequently choose this location to celebrate birthdays and other special occasions.
Tiffany was our waitress. I appreciated her honesty in providing recommendations to us. Great date night great dessert
Couples dinner date night and we all (8) enjoyed every part of evening. Our server Jacob was outstanding.
Never disappointed with Kona. Food, service and atmosphere all great.
It has been a few years since dining here and it looks a little worn these days. Felt like I was eating in a dated hotel restaurant.
Food is good, server was swamped and so always seemed rushed.
Staff was very nice and flexible w/ allowing us to sit 'outside' and have a drink before going to our table. (Thursday night, and they were not busy.)
Only critique would be for the waitress, removal of dinner plates before everyone at the table is finished is poor, basic etiquette.
Food very good. 9 people had a variety of dinner items, and all were good.
Family in town so took them to of our favorite places, Kona Grill at Chandler Mall. Unfortunately, self-parking on the weekend is a joke so used valet. Usually a short wait, but sat for about 10 minutes before car taken.
Once inside, reservation quickly found and we were seated. California roll, Macadamia Nut Chicken, Sea Bass, Salmon, Kona Chopped and all sides on point. Our server, who we've had before, was attentive without being overbearing. We'll be back again.
Kona, as usual is consistently good. I almost always get rolls or sashimi, however the menus is diverse enough that there is something for everyone.
This time we were celebrating a birthday; I’ve never had their deserts, and the butter cake is really good.
The only negative, which is out of the control of Kona is parking so get their early as it can be a pain.
We loved it! Sea bass & macadamia crusted chicken is delicious
Food too expensive so probably won't go there again but overall good food.
Avocado rolls to die for, they did the pad Thai with tofu for my son who is vegetarian and the chopped salad was just yummy
The “Filet” medallions tasted like sirloin.
Service was very slow. Food was good but the sushi rolls did not have as much fish on them as the first time we dined there.
We thoroughly enjoyed the miso encrusted sea bass. It was well prepared and melted in your mouth. We will definitely be back for more. The service was fast and friendly. Drinks were well done and exactly the way we like them.
Food was great, service was great. We sat between the bar and patio because the weather was great. The sushi was great they have a good selection and during happy hour the pricing is great!
Overall good food, but servers were handling too many tables and we waited for long periods of time to get service and refills on drinks.
The chef made a mistake with our meal, was very apologetic, replaced our meal, and offered us complimentary dessert for the mistake. Our server kept our drinks full. On the whole, they were very accommodating. The food was very good.
The food was just ok... Nothing spectacular but awesome service!
Grest food and service. Really enjoy the sushi options.
The best sushi ever!
I had specified that we were observing a birthday on the reservation, that was lost in the shuffle when we decided to sit out on the patio. The jambalaya was excellent, and my companion's salad was good only after we asked for the dressing that the kitchen had neglected. The pretzel and fondue appetizer was good but needed more smoke in the smoked gouda.
A little uneven, but overall an acceptable meal.
Was pleasantly surprised by fantastic service from server. All other trips here resulted in abysmal service and usually go to Gilbert location. Definitely will try Chandler location again.
WOW! The best Calamari my wife have had ever! and the Passion Fruit Creme Brulee is absolutely amazing! We went for my birthday during lunch without the kids and have to say that this our new favorite restaurant for our dates
Never again. Just don't get any benefit from this place anymore. I had two different sushi rolls, both were not rolled tight, and fell apart when I picked them up. My wife had the macadamia chicken, and was dry and not much flavor. Waitress was great, but the food was not, and it just seems louder and louder each time you go.
I have had better experiences at the Kona Grill in the past. However, for this trip.. the Sushi was decent but the server was not particularly helpful (we had to send back to get our drinks refilled) and food was slow to appear, despite a fairly sparse attendance in the restaurant. I had the Sea Bass which was better with some soy sauce added but frankly not worth the price (Sea Bass is always a bit pricey). I will give a thumbs up to the atmosphere and the avocado egg rolls.
Our server was attentive and patient with our party. Ambiance is lovely. Thank you!
