The patio is enclosed and is great for the winter. The food is fresh and the menu has something for everyone. I would recommend this place for any occasion.

The prime rib was pretty not great; tough and chewy. It was ordered medium rare and overall not worth the value. The server was really rough, she wants to do all her order taking mentally and not write it down. However, we you can’t remember orders, please write it down. It just kills the dinner as a guest.

Lastly, in my RSVP we mentioned we had a birthday and it wasn’t even once mentioned by any of the staff.

Always enjoy Kona Grill. The Macadamia chicken is wonderful. Always have the spicy shrimp and the oriental salad. Appreciate all the staff. They work great as a team helping each other.

Lana (our waitress) started out amazing. However, the experience slowly declined as the bartender was late so the drinks could not be frozen because the machine wasn't on, on time. The temp on the food was not correct either time as well. While none of this was Lana's fault or something she could control she was upset at us about and the service and her upbeat attitude wasn't the same. Very disappointing 1st time experience.

We are regulars at Kona. My son is 8 and it’s his favorite restaurant. However steadily, the service has gone downhill. Totally understand the current staffing situation in the hospitality industry but the simple things were missed,and there appeared to be multiple people working.

Made a reservation for 7:30. Arrived at 7:20 to be told the reservations were running 20 minutes late. It ended up being 30. Order was taken quickly (fortunately, with an 8 year old at 8pm). But then our water glasses were always empty, when the food came out they didn’t bring chopsticks or soy. Had to ask 2 different people for the low-sodium soy - they couldn’t find it. One server took our order, then we didn’t see him until he came to ask if we needed anything else.

Everything was just slow and disjointed/disorganized.

Sorry for a negative review. We will be back someday however.

Disappointed to the change in the children's Bento box with extremely small chicken "tenders" that were also very tough and chewy. It was also somewhat frustrating that our server continuously forgot items, but we recognize that he was also very busy. Salmon added to the Oriental Salad was wonderful!

For what we paid , the food was horrible. We’ve been a few times, but last night was not good. Get seafood if you eat here. Stay away from the ribs, the steak or anything other than the seafood. The lobster and shrimp roll is to die for.

miso soup was cold and Dumplings were lukewarm. The macadamia nut crusted chicken was amazing. Sushi is always good. Our Server charged us for something we didn’t order, which she late fixed

My daughter and I had a lunch date today and found it outrageous to pay $80 for a lunch for two people. We got our usual appetizer plus some soup for me. I got a side of friend rice, two sushi rolls and she had soda. Which is all fine. But when I got the bill, I noticed a sushi roll $21 was listed twice! I told the server and he admitted that he entered it twice (yet failed to remove the duplicate). So he took the bill and had the manager fix it, he then came back and said “is this better?”. I was like well yeah. I felt like the server knew he did wrong and was trying to get away with it. Not cool! Don’t think I will be going back.

Paid $100 for a bowl of nodules with 2 oz of chicken on it and a bowl of lettuce, 2 glasses of house wine. Plus requested dressing on the side but no didn’t happen. Used to be fav place but i guess just par for the course now

New Year’s Eve dinner with my wife : Kevin provided his standard “A” level service but the limited menu items was very surprising, in a bad way, since we are very regular patrons and 3 popular and big sellers were NOT available: jalapeño yellowtail sushi , tomato bisque soup and the miso sea bass entree.

The chili glazed salmon was our second choice and it seemed over cooked and not as moist as on other vist.

The restaurant was surprisingly not at crowded at 845pm and perhaps the menu was the reason..?
We love the good and ambience on an everyday basis and this time it just didn’t measure up.

Had the “surf and turf”. Food was good. Unfortunately the service was a little slow. I had to go get soy sauce, they brought the wrong side for my wife and it seemed to take forever to get salt and pepper at our table.

Our family had a very enjoyable, New Year’s Eve dinner. The service was very good and efficient on a very busy night. In addition, everyone in our party enjoyed their dining experience. The Manager took time to stop by our table to make sure that everything was going well and that the food met our expectations. We would highly recommend going the Kona Grill and we plan to return in the near future.

The staff was very accommodating and went out of their way in getting our very elderly guests seated in a perfect accessible spot. Our server was so patient in explaining their many questions on the menu. Truly remarkable service!

Christmas Day (evening) - the only restaurant open for miles - during a pandemic that won’t quit.

Kona you hit it out of the park with your patient and attentive staff. Most employees working doubles with smiles on their faces.

The food was delicious … yes we had to wait and no our reservation wasn’t on time - for a holiday with a skeleton crew … you did better than well.

(We went for lunch and dinner on 12/25… if you are ever in town for brunch the mimosas are delicious - peach and strawberry were our favorites)

Shauna (?sp) was the best! The steak was better than Gordon Ramsay’s in Las Vegas. The seasoning on the swordfish was delicious. We will definitely be back.

Dined on Christmas day. I don't think they were prepared for the level of customers they recvd. Food took an hour and a half. Appetizer took an hour. We had three 3 children with us, they did provide some crackers for the kids. I ordered the Halibut, it was ok. But next time will order steak or salad...especially since we're in Indiana. Service was wonderful though and ambiance was nice.

Was extremely good food and great service. It did take a very long time to get our food but to be fair it was Christmas evening, they were busy and our server apologized and explained what was happening and why. We will definitely be back.

Christmas evening so we knew that not many places were open. We sat in the bar and there was a di playing very nontraditional holiday music. Not enough staff so took a long time for our food- but honestly, we understood because of Christmas Day. Waiter was good, but extremely busy. When dinner arrived, it was fabulous!!! Had the macadamia chicken. Wow! Generous portions too. Wine was expensive for the house brand.

Absolutely terrible experience-not worth it whatsoever! Waited for an hour and a half for them to bring the food out and then it was not fresh and all cold. Asked them to heat it up and they brought it out a second time cold. They were pumping out take out orders the entire time and barely paying any attention to the dine in tables. We were there for almost 2 hours, and left hungry and it made us late for our movie.

We were seated an hour after our reservation. It took another 1:15 minutes from the time we were seated to get our food. One dish was cold upon arriving and another dish was under cooked and could not be eaten. Several of our entries were brought to the table 20 minutes before the rest of the entires.

We love Kona Grill, but they overbooked tonight and never recovered…

The manager really tried to make up for it, though, which we appreciated. They gave us a free dessert and discounted our bill, both without any prompting from us.
